Final Fantasy: Dawn of Souls
Additions
Along with all the classic feelings and old enemies are some major improvements and additions that Square Enix has made to this release. Here are a few included features and additions:
- Soul of Chaos
- Improved, more detailed storyline
- Contains the Bestiary feature (1st introduced in Final Fantasy: Origins
- The bosses here are now a bit more powerful, espeically Chaos
- 50 new enemies plus several more bosses in Soul of Chaos
- A few items in chests has been changed to make the game harder
- Training is now much easier, and gaining levels is quicker.
- Able to save outside without the need of Sleeping Bags/Tent/Cottage
- Thief is much, much more stronger now
- Mode 7 rendering for airship flight
Soul of Chaos
Final Fantasy I features four extra dungeons known as the "Soul of Chaos" dungeons. The dungeons are accessible by bringing power back to the Crystals by defeating each of the Elemental Fiends. Following the defeat of each fiend - a dungeon unlocks, terminating in a selection of four bosses each from Final Fantasy III, IV, V, and VI.
Soul of Rebirth
Final Fantasy II features a completely new feature found in none of the previous remakes. Once you complete the ame, a bonus storyline called Soul of Rebirth is accessible, featuring a number of characters who had been killed off during the course of the main story. The game only features four areas and most of the time will be spent training up for a second encounter with the last boss.
