Ultimecia Help

- provided by TheReal_GB

Preparation

Before you go into battle with Ultimecia, you should get all of your character's ultimate weapons. Their strength and limit breaks will come in handy. All of your party's ultimate weapons are not a must, but Squall's Lionhart is. Junction your GF's and spells evenly. Also make sure that you use your strongest character (DUH), they should all have 9999 HP. You should try to get 100 of the following spells as they are the strongest and will boost your rates considerably: FULL LIFE, ULTIMA, HOLY, DEATH, REGEN, DISPEL, and various elemental spells. Distribute them evenly. It is also a good idea when you give one person the auto-haste ability.

One member should also have the ITEM ability. In the last battle, your team is picked randomly. To by-pass this, simply equip three team members for the end of the world, and if one of the characters pop up that you didn't want...simply kill them off. A new member will appear to take its place. Choose your members wisely, think of their limit breaks, and who's is the most useful to you (My choice was Squall, Zell, and Rinoa). Make sure you have plenty of AURA spell (300 is ideal), plenty of Shell (100 is fine), 100 CURAGA for each member is a must, and make sure you have plenty of forbbiden magic (Ultima, Meteor, etc.). Watch out, through-out the battle Ultimecia can blow away your spells.

* FOR THE REST OF THIS WALK-THROUGH, I WILL NOT REPEAT...ALWAYS KEEP YOUR CHARACTERS HP HIGH! AT THE LOWEST, THEY SHOULD BE 7500-9999 HP. YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT SHE WILL DO NEXT*

Form #1 (Ultimecia)

Your first job is to kill off any randomly selected characters that you do not want. The next step would be to cast Cerberus, and cast shield on everybody (If you do not have Cerberus, just cast triple on everybody). After you are done preparing your party members for the upcoming fight, you can take out this form quite quickly by casting AURA on Squall and allowing him to use a few limit breaks (2 will usually do).

Form #2 (G.F.)

This Guardian Force is weak to wind spells, so use triple tornado to hit him hard! Other tripled elemental spells also work good. When ever it casts pain, be sure to heal the status effects. Keep your HP up because when the background begins to spin, he is getting ready to use his special move, SHOCKWAVE PULSAR, which takes away 6000 HP. Depending on the amount of AURA that you have, you should cast it on everyone once and a while.

Form #3 (Ultimecia Junction)

Your first move should to make sure everyone is at 9999 HP. If you have a lot of AURA, cast it on everyone. If you're low on AURA, hit her with tripled strong elemental spells, and if you have a lot, some triple ULTIMA/METEOR. Don't worry, her ULTIMA/HOLY aren't that bad as long as your healed up.

Form #4 (The True Ultimecia)

Heal your party right away! Next, cast AURA on Squall. When she uses Hell's Judgement, your HP will reduce to 1, so use triple curaga, and items to stay afloat. Between H.J., use triple METEOR, and ULTIMA, and give Rinao/Zell an AURA (which ever you like best). Keep your HP up at all times, she will cast Apocolypse which takes away 7000-8000 HP. When this happens, for a brief time you are able to draw this spell from her bottom half. Then cast Apocolypse triple and take her out. Use AURA, and APOCOLYPSE to have victory. Remember to always keep your HP up to 9999. She is tough, but you are stronger. After a long battle, victory shall be yours. Sit back and enjoy the 30 min ending. Believe me, you've earned it! =)
