Here are some of the basics needed in order to play Before Crisis:

A JP 900 series iMode PHS
The game costs money to subscribe to, but is cheap. Downloading new packets may also cost extra.

Access the Final Fantasy i Site on the phone by doing th following steps:

iMenu > Menu List > Game > Final Fantasy i

Download the game, if you can connect and have registered. You will also need to download graphics and packets for the game, which doesn't take too long.
