Final Fantasy VIIBoss HelpListed by appearance.Guard Scorpion [Mako Reactor No. 1] This boss is a cinch. After having a flashback as Cloud arms the bomb to blow up the Mako reactor, a Guard Scorpion appears and Barret and Cloud are forced into battle. Keep on doing attacks, and occasionally use magic (Cloud is initially equipped with Bolt [Electric] and Ice [Ice] and Barret is initially equipped with Fire [Fire]). Keep an eye out for its Tail Laser, as it is VERY strong. As always, use your Limit Breaks as much as you can. TIP: Keep an eye on the HP that both Barret and Cloud have. If it gets below 100 use a Potion. Airbuster [Sector 5 Reactor] Okay, this one is not as easy as the first one, but easy to wipe out nonetheless. Attack and do Magics as in all battles, but this time it gets a bit trikier. To defeat him with the littlest damage done to your team, you must begin to think in elementals. Elementals: "Adds the element selected to an attack, or defends against such an attack" _ Brady Guides. The elemental you'll want to use here is electric for this will short-circuit the circuited Soldier. TIP: The attack you do will be more effective when you hit it in the back; whenever Airbuster attacks, it faces it's victim. WARNING!: Watch out for Airbuster's Big Bomber and Counterattack. Both of the attacks are extremely powerful. To tell you the truth, I did the same for Aps as I did for Airbuster. Attack, Magic, and Elementals. Use Fire and Bolt. Also, you'll really need to put the girl power to work, because Tifa, Aeris and Cloud are your party, and there's nothing you can do about it. No TIPS or WARNINGS for this boss. Reno of the Turks [Sector 7 Slums Pillar] Okay, Reno's hard and tricky. Hard and tricky. Hehe. Oh! Anyway, since you cannot use Elementals against Reno (Fire and Ice are the exception), you'll really hafta use Magic and Attack him like crazy. There's no way to kill him, but once you weaken him up, Tseng will hafta pick him up in the Shin-Ra copter. NOTE: Both Tseng and Reno'll get away and with Aeris. Don't worry. You'll get her back and kick Shin-Ra's ass in the Shin-Ra building (Next mission). Sample: HO512 and Sample: HO512-opt [Shin-Ra Building] HO512 will be in the back of 3 lil meanies. HO512 can re-animate his henchmen, so just focus all attention on the robot. Again, Attacking, Magic, Elementals. This time the Elemental is Electric. Use Blt. Now. Do it. No TIPS or WARINIGS for this boss. Hundred Gunner and Heli-Gunner [Shin-Ra Building] These guys are TOUGH. You'll need long-range weapons, which only Barret has, so Aeris and whoever else in your team will hafta use Limit Breaks or Magic. The Elemental is electric. Go for it. NOTE: Hundred Gunner will turn into Heli-Gunner after you hit it enough... Rufus Shin-Ra and Dark Nation [Shin-Ra building] Okay, no playing around this time. Kill Dark Nation first. His lighting attacks are strong and it casts Protection Spells on Rufus and himself. With him out of the way, Rufus'll be a cinch. Of course, like all the other "humans" in the game, Rufus, too, ditchs out. No TIPS or WARNINGS for this boss. More to come... |
