Final Fantasy VI

Dances

Mog, being a moogle, is in touch with his surroundings, and thus can use them in battle. When he dances the dance of a specific environment, special calamities and animals come to the party's aid. To learn an areas dance he mearly has to complete a fight in that area. A dance used in it's normal environment during battle will always work, while a different one may fail. Mog's dances are given in the Dance List.

Wind Song
Plains
Mostly healing, but Wind Slash is an effective attack

Forest Suite
Forests
Similar to Wind Song but has the devestating Elf Fire attack

Desert Aria
Deserts
This is all attack magic, include an instant kill attack

Love Sonata
Towns
This dance has both an instant kill and the Elf Fire attack
Earth Blues
Mountains
Likes a combination of Wind Song and Love Sonata

Water Rondo
Rivers
Powerful water attacks

Dusk Requiem
Caves
An instant kill along with the powerful Cave In attack

Snowman Jazz
Snow
This dance has powerful Ice attacks and Elf Fire

Many people wonder how to get two of Mog's dances; the Water Rondo and the Snowman Jazz. The Snowman Jazz can be found in the World of Ruin only, but the Water Rondo MUST be learned in the World of Balance. The W. Rondo is, in fact, Mog's strongest dance. To acquire it, form a group with Mog in it. Land the airship at Nikeah, and rent a Chocobo. Ride it all the way to Baren Falls, and hop off. Jump the falls, and go all the way to the Serpent Trench, and jump in. Fight a water enemy without dancing and you'll learn the Water Rondo! You'll end up in Ni- keah, right next to your airship! An alternate, longer route is to take the raft down the Lete River with Mog. The Serpent Tre- nch is much faster, though.
