Final Fantasy III Title

crystal The earth is restless... Four young orphans investigate a newly formed cave just outside their village, only to be attacked by savage beasts. Fighting through, they uncover the long lost Wind Crystal with an urgent message upon which the fate of everything rests. A long-contained force of evil is ready to make a power play that could leave the world in ruin, and only the four mythic Light Warriors can stop it!

The only other way to play the game is through an NES emulator, although the legality of such things are null...zero...nada. If you recognize these legal issues, but still wish to take it on, several internet sites carry both the full japanese version and a fully translated version for those who are not japanese-literate. Remember though, find it yourself.

Final Fantasy IIIj is the japanese Final Fantasy III, released for the Famicom (known as NES in North America). The j differentiates the name from Final Fantasy III, a North American SNES game.

Final Fantasy 3 was one of the best-if not THE best-RPG for the NES. The story was epic, the characters were endearing, and the game was just plain fun. The only complaint I have is the fact that it was never released in America! But thanks to emulators and a couple of dedicated funs, now everyone of the English-speaking language can enjoy this fantastic RPG.

The storyline of this game, as I said earlier, is epic. It is set in the medieval period of the series and is heavily involved with the four crystals of the elements: Earth, Fire, Wind, and Water. But at heart, the storyline is about greed and power. Zande, a once mighty warrior and follower of the legendary Noah the Archmage, is trying to take control of the four elements in order to obtain the ultimate power-the power of nothingness...the power of the Void. One wanders, what was happened to make a follower of the great Noah to desire this power of magnitude? Well, I let you find out yourself...
