Might I suggest something? Contact your opponent via PM or outside of the forum. I know this is a competition, but trust me when I say everyone will make better posts when working together with the competition rather than ignoring them and stumbling blindly into a fight.

Remember, it's a writing tournament, so the victor is the better writer. Take advantage of every opportunity. Work together with your enemy, and you'll both make more coherent posts -- and that's always a good thing.
