2,180  | Yeah I saw it. It's very funny, especially from the start where it makes fun of someone 'special'. No spoilers though. And I didn't really see it as an extended episode like some people have said elsewhere. It had some awesome special effects. And it got away with more than the television episodes too.

730 | I can't beleve I have to wait for 2 whole weeks to watch it! I'm going with some buddies, but some of the trailers I saw look totally awesome! Homer is going to be a hero or something...O.o I don't think the fate of Sprongfield is very safe...

7,801  | I enjoyed this film. I was worried it would try much too hard to be a blockbuster film, push itself too far and just ruin itself and any future episodes, if you see what I mean. But it really didn't. It was more like a feature-length episode than a blockbuster film, which is what I liked. Maybe that doesn't make much sense... but at least I know what I mean  The only negative thing I can say is that it was too short. After 18/19 serieses... 89 minutes of movie didn't seem enough.

177 | I was actually a little bit dissapointed, I took my younger brother on its opening day, he enjoyed it the whole way through but I have to say I got a little bit bored after the first half an hour. The first half an hour was fantastic, it had the right gags to plot ratio, but after that it got a little too plot heavy for me (yes I do realise I am talking about The Simpsons), which wouldn't have bothered me if there had been more jokes. Another gripe I had was not enough Bart and Lisa, Lisa was hardly in it atall. It sorta reminded me of Shrek 3, were Puss and Donkey were secondry characters in it. Overall I'd give it three stars, definately worth going watching at the cinema but I doubt I'll be buying it on DVD.

7,693 | Wow, how disappointing. This may be due to the fact I've never liked the Simpsons, though. Although, still. Andrew wanted to see it, so we went... And were both pretty disappointed. I personally think they were trying too hard to be funny. There were some funny perks, like

But even then, those points weren't really too special. I feel this was "just another predictable American film". I really think they tried too hard. I think in all I laughed about four times momentarily during it's run time... Same goes for my boyfriend, who didn't seem too thrilled either. Not to say it was absolute crap, but if we had the chance to redo it, I don't think we would've gone to see it.

730 | I finally got to watch it, and I thought it was pretty cute. It was a little different from the normal Simpsons, but the jokes and new characters were kinda nice. I agree with Raines about Bart and Lisa. Everything was even and all the family got their turns, but after the big problem, it's just Homer being a jerk. He really pisses me off in this film. >< Me thinks too mucch creepy parts though...(Bart's dare....)

1 | I enjoyed this film. The animation was top-notch, and many of the jokes were very funny, although some were fairly predictable. The "Bart's dare" sequence was hilarious! I give it an eight out of ten.

1,544 | I missed the usual sharp wit of the Simpsons. I'm not really into slapstick comedy, so most of it wasn't that interesting. Some bits were great - the sign outside the church reading WE TOLD YOU SO; Moe's Tavern and said church emptying, the people on outside their establishments, seeing impending doom and swapping buildings - but a lot of it lacked that kind of smart humour. I was bored by it. Seeing Greenday die at the very start was great though.

1,272  | Hmm. I saw this at the cinema with my family yesterday. Couple of comments to make: -I don't think it really lived up to the hype. There was a really incredible amount of talk on this movie, and such Having said that... -It was better than I expected. I didn't think it would make the transition from animated sitcom to movie at all.
