wich actors could play a role in MGS

Anyone who ever visited the Gamefaqs Pro Wrestling Board KNOWS, Chris Benoit must play Snake.
But as he's too busy I'd recommend Hugh Jackman, sure everyone and Kojima himself recommends him but he is a good choice. Or Maybe if the toned up to Gladiator status Russel crowe. He had the beard.
If he was much Younger Al Pacino, that guy can play ANY role.

I wouldnt like Russel Crowe as Snake, he jsut doesnt seem the Snake type, unlike Jackman and Kurt Russel.

when was escape from new york released then? was it the character designs for mgs3 or mgs2 that were based on the film character? and i take it that would explain the use of pliskin in either the game or the movie. Just a wild guess, Snake pliskin was created before mgs2 because naming him snake pliskin and not iriquois pliskin seems kinda lame... or am i wrong and i'm the one being lame? lol

escape from NY was released i think (must be somewhere deep inside the brain) was in '81 and the seqeul was in '94 but i could be wrong.
Both were before metal gear solid 1. And i'm glad kojima stole the character of snake plissken(from the movies) caz i couldn't think of someone tougher than him .

Ow and the movie is really good the special effect don't look good not even in the sequel, but that doesn't make it a bad movie.

yeah that makes a bit more sense... cos metal gear 1 on NEs was released '87 (i think lol) so yeah thats cool. Did kojima remember the film when he made MGS2 then cos the character design is sooo similiar... did he ask shinkawa to borrow that charater setup? or is this the kinda stuff better left for the mgs forums lol

it was a great choice tho... kurt russel is god as snake in those films just for his look and that character design really fits for snake

I think MGS would be great as a Woody Allen style comedy. Either that or Benny Hill style. It would be hilarious for Solid to be chasing around Ocelot to the sounds of "Yakkity Sax" in the background.

OMG!!! Chris Benoit does look a little like snake, lol! maybe too much muscle, but still... I'd like to see Hugh Jackman be snake though - and he is a good actor!

I would say David Hater, the guy who does Snakes voice could be fine if he worked out and grew his hair out seeing as he looks similar enough.

Though in the end they'll get Rob Schneider for him and Beyonce to play Meryl. Hmmm you could get Sam Jackson as Roy Cambell, and Queen Latifa for Sniper Wolf....it's gonna be a hit I tell ya!
