Paul's actually a great director in comparison to Uwe Boll. I thoroughly enjoyed Mortal Kombat, and considering that it was fan friendly (more than a fair share of popular characters showed up), I'm thinking the same will happen with Castlevania.

And let's face it: Jerry Bruckheimer and Steven Spielberg are never gonna get near a video game movie script, so we gotta deal with what we can get, and as far as that goes, Paul or the guy who directed Silent Hill are the best choices.

It's not really Mortal Combat that I had a problem with. Resident Evil 1 and 2, mainly 2 were horribly written.

Silent Hill was great; it showed some improvment towards videogame based movies, hopefully Anderson won't screw up Castlevania too much either.

Wrong. it's centered around Simon Belmont.

I didn't say it was centered around any character at all bro. I hinted that if they decide to add other elements from the series, which I definetley think they will, Alucard is sure to make a cameo. Read my post a bit more carefully next time

I just hope they make it good. Most of the movies after games come out pretty bad, but they do make a lot of money at the box office, due to the fans of the games and curious movie goers. I'd go to see this out of curiousity.
