atleast in my opinon.
I'm not going to bother

I see your point fenrir. Althogu i am looking forward to it, a do doubt it will be the thing on peoles mind for mothns, like the famous Spiderman 2, which surpssed the first by tenfold. but any way, Hollywood does need to put a little more effort. In X1 I did see several scenes which could be acted better. If only Tim Burton did all movies........

Well i think tim burton would have made it .... interesting lol
Peter Jackson would have made it 3 hours long lol
Spielburg would have made it more dramatic than action, so would they use AND PHEONIX is in it ^^

I agree with you about being irritated with Hollywood. I'm someone that is really irritated with Hollywood actually. Personaly, the best movies ever made were those made in the 80s. The talent in that era was excellent. In that era, you had Kurt Russell, who is fantastic, Ray Liotta, who is also fantastic, and Sylvester Stallone, who isn't the best actor but could make great movies. What really makes me mad about Hollywood is that they hire the crappiest actors, and put them in movies because they're 'attractive'. Like Paris Hilton for example, what talent does that girl have??!! Please... Me, being 16 years old, don't really like the movies of this era. The 80s were the best personaly and the talent back then were fantastic compared to the talent now. It's a shame really...

I shall see this movie, as I have the others due to the fact I simply enjoy them.

However like all Movies based on a comic, for the director and writers there a nightmare. On one side there are the hardcore fans, who read the comic books, own the T-shirts and buy the annuals. They demand the plot be kept to the letter in the film. This would leave casual fans baffled with all the characters etc.

On the other hand there is the casual fan, with little to No idea of the comic background, and the characters. They want a coherent plot with easy to follow characters, which if truly truthful to the plot will baffle them. They also want action in a movie like this, so the typical huge explosions, fights and dramatic dialogues are In.Even if the character usually does nothing like it.

It's a lose, lose situation for writers and directors. Only whomever makes the profit doesn't give a damn. Which sad to say with a fair few movies they do not.

The only reason I'm going to see it, is because of Phoenix. I have been hoping and praying that one day they would have Phoenix in a movie..and voila. Now-- if this movie is a disappointment, such as few trilogies have proven to be, they will have some thoroughly disappointed fans on their hands. >__<

I have liked 1 an 2 like no other, so I personally think that number 3 is going to be great. espeacially since beast it going to be in it now. I love him, and he is played by one of my fav. actors. I really think I will enjoy it more than some of the other sequels I have seen. They seem to be getting better at it with Comics though. Sticking to the actual happenings a little more. Like in Sin City. I cannot wait to see Angel either. i was never to familiar with him.

We get the print either Tuesday or Wednesday... so by the time Thursday comes around, I can tell you whether the movie will live up to all your expectations or not. If it's anything like the first two, it certainly will.

Well, I just went to see X3 and it's really good, a lot better then the previous movies, except for a few niggling things that I won't spoil in this thread.

Overall the plot and acting is great. Pactrick Stewart IS Professor X, and I really couldn't think of anyone else to play Magneto than Ian McKellen.

Yes we get to see, Beast, Angel, Juggernaut, Shadowcat (Kitty Pryde), Colossus, and most of the regulars, but where the heck is Nightcrawler? Did I miss someting from the last film?

And does anyone else agree with me that Anna Paquin as Rogue is absolutley beautiful? Whoever is dating her is one lucky person...

Anyways, go see it-- it's pretty good. You can thank me for not spoiling it later
