Prison Break

We don't have a Prison Break thread? Thats disastrous

Well, basicly its a TV show that runs on the American Fox TV channel, the Norwegian TVNorge and a lot of other channels that I'm un-aware of.

Heres the plot-outline:

Quote:
Lincoln Burrows is on death row for the murder of the vice president's brother. He insists he's innocent and only his brother Michael Scofield believes him. An engineer who helped design the prison where Lincoln is being held Michael takes drastic measures to help his brother. He gets himself arrested and sent to the same prison so that with his knowledge of the building the two of them can escape together. However while inside Michael discovers a massive conspiracy that is determined to see Lincoln's sentence carried out. Breaking out will be more difficult than he thought, but he's still going to try.
This is, hrm..you can call it a Action/Adventure Family Drama. Sometimes it gets as tense as "24" and sometimes its so sad you want to cry. It has a lot of interesting characters like Lincolns son "LJ" and the prison doctor Sara.

I started downloading the first episode a friday night, and I'd seen all 19 episodes before the weekend was over. It's a fantastic show. My favourite episode whould have to be episode 14 - the rat. Its just so sad, made me cry ;_;.

Can't wait for the next episode!

Well anyone else here, who watches it?

I do, but I wouldn't say it's a "family drama" considering some of the episodes show people getting their throats cut. It's one the very few shows fox has even aired that I enjoy and will most likely be canceled before it finishes like a large majority of the things they air.

The show is actually shot in Joliet Illinois in one of the roughest prisons in the states. It's crazy...I've got a couple of friends who have been on the show as extras, but they were in the scenes.

I've seen the first five or six, yeah.

With that semi-hot guy from that mariah clip, and the amnesiac from that other show, the sadistic daddy from the show with the blond guy, chick from the devil movie, and that nice frenchman person who I've always liked.

Great with faces, suck at names. Except interesting ones, like Dominic Purcell.

Anyway, I thought they were nice. I like the unraveling of Main Guy's (awesome) tattooes. I love what happened to his foot, too. Brings reality. I hope there's more of that good stuff.

I need to find the other episodes.

Well, darn it was the Fox website that called it a Family Drama first =/

I watched it once or twice on Channel 5; I didn't really like it, to be honest, the plot seemed a bit far-fetched. There was an excellent review of it in the Glasgow Big Issue, which started with: 'Yes, it has happened, a programme more stupid than Manimal has happened; it is called Prison Break.'

I quite liked some bits of it though, I like the fact that someone would go so far for their brother. The human relationships in the show I saw were excellent.

Just finished watching yesterdays episode 20. WOW!
I wonder if Sara is gonna decide to help Micheal, well thats not a question she will. I want them making-out before the end of the season

The end was really well made, with those beats in the background while going trough all of the reasons for why they are escaping. This is a really great show. And I would say that Doctor Sara is my favourite character.

I'm so looking forward to the next episode Go, I wonder if they manage to escape =/

Thats the biggest bullshit I've ever heard. The show is full of inteligent matters as modern politics, strong emotions and etc. So the person who said that clearly hasn't seen a good dose of Prison Break.
