The Tick

Alright, so I "purchased" the DVD of the live action series The Tick, and I was wondering if there really is only nine episodes that were released of this hysterical series.

To make the topic a lot more interesting, why not talk about The Tick? Remember, I'm talking about the live action TV show that came on four or five years ago. Ths show was comic genius with the way Patrick played the character. His dialogue is priceless throughout each show and the play on words that occurs every five minutes just makes me laugh everytime.

Arthur: "You called The Terror on my phone!?"
The Tick: "Well, isn't that what it's for?"
Arthur: "Tick, it's my phone! Caller ID! Now he can find out exactly where I live!"
The Tick: "He can do that?"
Arthur: "Yes, of course he can!"
The Tick: "Magnificent beast! What other strange powers must he posses.."

Great comedy.

Anywho, I've seen the cartoon and still watch it to this day.

The Tick is up there with Freakazoid on my favorite comical heroes list, mostly because he's sort of clueless, but still sticks to his morals and beliefs.

Heh, I got to see the first episode of the Live Action series and I came across a funny line. I won't be quoting it exactly, however...

Arthur: "I guess I was wrong about being a superhero. I mean, those two are acting like sexually hyper kindergarteners and you are ignorant, no offense."

Tick: "None comprehended."
