Several movie releases dated for 2006/2007/TBA that I thought some of you may be interested in. I for one am pretty stoked about the Bourne Ultimatum, Resident Evil, and Batman 2.

I don't understand why there are two RE movies being made...at the same time? Why would they already have a sequel in development, to a film that isn't even out yet? Plus, the RE movies make me sick...I hate the way they make Jill Valentine act. Jill is not a "whiny, pahetic little girl" like they make her seem in RE:Apocalpyse. Jill should be kicking ass, not this made-up Alice...phhh.

The Fast and the Furious III? Who cares! Yay!!!

Halo? Screw you! Yay! No, really, I'm looking forward to it...Peter Jackson is producing...YAY!!! If there are any video game movies I'm looking forward to, it would be Silent Hill. Looks awesome.

By the way, why don't you put Rocky and Jaws on that list...

I dunno... just posted movies i thought the general TFF population would enjoy. i personally enjoyed the rocky movies, but not that much. and jaws i never really liked either. well made for its time, but nontheless just corny. im sure the new one will be kick ass.

i liked the first resident evil, only because it appeared, and was made out to be a movie that didnt come from a video game. most video game movies ::cough:: doom ::cough:: are so corny, i almost want to beat the movie theater employee who sold me the ticket, then go to his/her parents house and ask them why they didn't consider abortion as a pregnancy plan. yeah it was that bad. resident evil, as a zombie movie, wasnt the best... but definately well done and sucessfull for a video game movie. i never saw the second one, so it could have became the classic corny awkwardly retarded video game movie =)

ohh i was wondering when they would make another re movie but 2! i hope they don't end up like re2(the movie) which was chessy corny crap! hmm a new jurrasic park i wonder how many they'll make? the bourne ultimation, now hopefully that will be good identity and supremcy were very good but i hope this kind of ties it up nicely. And indiana jones iv yay now i got a reason to sing the indi theme tune without sounding stupid!

arrrggghhhhh - none of those sound like a good idea. TMNT was ****ing awesome... in the early 90's where it belonged. it's just going to taint the amazing first 2 movies (yeah, i said 2 - **** 3

indiana jones? arrrgh - ok, it is harrison ford so it might be ill, but why take a perfect trilogy and take the chance of ruining it??

jurassic park III was awesome, i'm sorry. yeah, it was a shitty movie - but grant was in it, and it was highly entertaining (wish i could say the same for The Lost World - god that movie sucked...), so whatever, they can come out with another one - the first installment is the only 'film' if you will out of the bunch, so there's no where to go but up.

resident evil needs to give it a rest. the movies aren't that good, period. the über-serious technobabble was vomit inducing in the second film - and it looked like it was shot in a small warehouse. oh yeah, they're also not scary, at all. **** resident evil movies.

Well, I hate to break it to you but I would'nt be too optimistic about Indy IV coming out. Don't get me wrong, I'm one of the biggest fans of the man in the leather jacket but actual production has still not started nor has the script even been finished yet.

Not only that but they've been planning on making it for 12 years now and still have not really gotten anything underway. All that's sure right now is that they had massive problems narrowing down on a screenwriter in the past and that Sean Connery and Harrison Ford are definitely up for it.

If that movie-whore Spielberg doesn't set his sights on doing it, further mass produced movies of his will make it impossible for time to be managed towards it. Lucas luckily has no real projects now with his "baby" (Star Wars series) wrapped up. Basically, it's all up to Spielberg to finally sit down and dedicates sometime to this movie rather than one of his many other scripts.

Hostel 2? HOSTEL 2?!

Hostel is probobly one of the worst and most disappointing movies I've ever seen. They hype tarantino like he farted it out of his own ass, but that douche bag Eli did it all. And personally...I think Eli needs to get some ass because frankly...by the end of the movie, I got tired of women's breasts. There were so many breasts...an 18 year old got tired of them.

Of course once the gory stuff actually started happening, there was the part where the guard was watching porn and when he got up to investigate weird noises, they kept the camera on the TV screen TO KEEP SHOWING THE PORN!

90 minutes of boobs, 30 minutes of gore. Not what I had in mind. I'm too pissed off to talk about the others.

lol.. yeah Hostel was soo much tits. me and my date were laughing so hard after the 64th shot of tits showed up. but i guess they had to balance it out, cus the movie wasn't scary, just relatively gorey... so i guess so nice shots of boobies helped ease your cracked eyeball shaped face cus u didnt wanna see some guys toes being cut off with pliers.... or an eyeball for the matter.

im not counting on Indy IV either. i'd watch it, and it would probably be pretty good. but ive heard the rumors of it being up in the air for awhile, as well.

Silent hill looks promising. it just doesnt seem like its gonna have that scary atmosphere like the game did. at least not from the previews. the game had this uneasy, scary feeling every second of gameplay.

Go see the original...it was made by Wes Craven, the Nightmare from Elmstreet director. It was pretty good for its time.

How could you want to see the Resident Evil movies after playing the games? The movies are a freaking disgrace! They made Nemesis seem like a pansy! They made Jill Valentine seem like a girly-girl! They made some dumb chick the main character!!! How dare they!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If they add Leon S. Kennedy to the movie, I may reconsider my views on this subject.

EDIT: they might've mistaken "The Fast and the Furious 3" with "The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift"

they might be two different movies.

Vin Diesel originally was going to be a part of the cast after F&TF2 came out because they decided for the 2nd installment it would follow the life of Bryan after he let Dominick go in the first one, which they did and it was kind of good but overall not as good as the first. Then the 3rd movie was going to star Deisel(Dominick)'s life after he ran, which was apparently going to be him in mexico and startup an underground street racing project. The project was scraped for the time being, and retalked about during the end of the 2nd movie, but alas... the 3rd movie will star NONE of the original cast members. Yahoo's movie site needs to be updated as you can clearly see their release date prediction was way too early, and most of the movie info is over 2 years old.
