hmm...okay. I'm not sure if I'm going to enjoy this movie though. I mean without vin deisel. He rocks!

EDIT: Any marvel or DC movies coming out? Except for X3.
Is Ultraviolet a Marvel character?

Hmm...I don't think tom cruise is right for the Iron Man roll. I really have no Idea who is going to play him. I think nicloas cage is the right person to play Ghost Rider though.

I heard a rumor that Johnny Depp was going to play Gambit in X4. I'm not sure about that...

New one i found during a little reading:

Requeim (2006) : http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0454931/

Remake of the 2005 release of, Exorcism of Emily Rose, The. The movie will be a German-only released film while has been said to not be so touched up and shiny from Hollywood. It will portray the true events more closely and take place in the natural setting.

I went and saw The Chronicles of Narnia tonight. It was good, but wasn't as good as I imagined it to be. The cinematics were awesome, truly talented group of CG artists worked on this film.

I never read the books, so I don't know if they hold true to the story. It appeared to me they left a lot out. It's like one minute the kids are in the real world, and 45 minutes later are in a battle for Narnia and ready to die for it. it's like... Lord of the Rings was a long ass movie because they took the time to fit everything in... well most in... Narnia seemed to not do so very well.

Regardless... it was a neat story and I hope they make another one since there are 5 books. Does anyone know if a sequel is in place... or even several sequels?

1. Ghost Rider - http://filmforce.ign.com/objects/034/034107.html

^I am definitely waiting for this.

2. Iron Man - http://filmforce.ign.com/objects/034/034317.html

^If Tom Cruise gets that spot I will ****ing beat the hell out of the comic dudes. I personally am feeling Cruise is becoming an overplayed record and his acting is becoming dull since all he seems to do is give that "serious smartass" attitude in movies and it really bores the hell out of me.

4. Transformers - http://filmforce.ign.com/objects/568/568421.html

^Crap, crap, oh and more crap. I loved Transformers back in the day, I loved Beast Wars during my childhood, but they have taken this crap too far with the anime bullshit. A movie would most likely be pretty gay with the stuff they have now. Hell I've watched a lot of new episodes of this and it's the same frichen thing over and over, just with new faces.

5. Wonder Woman - http://filmforce.ign.com/objects/033/033948.html

^If it's a hot chick in a slick costume and a better writer than Catwoman's tale I'll definitely see this.

I'd have to agree with this one. I actually enjoyed his acting in War of the Worlds.. only because I feel he played a role that most dad's can relate to... however I despised the movie in whole. I honestly haven't enjoyed any of Tom Cruise's acting to the fullest since Days of Thunder.

But anyhow... the movies you mentioned above will most likely pull a lot of cash in from the fans, but I just don't get into comic book movies much.

Edit:
Also for everyone who was mentioning to not get our hopes up for Indian Jones IV, this link below provides some details as to why Jurassic Park IV may be a little late... due to the fact Speilberg is concentrating on Jones IV.

Also.. to add to the list of new movies here's a couple:

1. Scary Movie 4 (2006) - http://www.comingsoon.net/films.php?id=9784
2. The Da Vinci Code (2006)
3. The Chronicles of Narnia: The Caspian (2007) - http://filmforce.ign.com/articles/689/689008p1.html

I wouldnt mind seeing them do the Turtles movies, and I guess its just me but I like the Resident Evil movies. Too many comic books to movies these days, never was a fan of them either. Most video games to movies are poorly executed, seriously Doom was pure and simply terrible, only good bit was when it was like the game. Movies I want to see made/remade/sequals to:

Silent Hill (I know its in production, looking forward to it)
Monty Python: Erik The Viking (cheesy but a very amusing)
13th Warrior 2
Friday the 13th 2
Beowulf (Screen release not that crappy small televison inaccurate garbage)
Any old school horror with out the cheese factor
Good movies on Viking/Germanic/Celtic history

Well thats all I can think of for now

There is actually seven books in the Chronicles of Narnia Series. I don't know if there is already a sequel planned or not, but I imagine there is, as this first one did pretty well. I'm looking forward to the Voyage of the Dawn Treader...

On Tom Cruise and Iron Man: While I think Tom Cruise is a bit of a crazy, I still think that his acting talent is way up there, and if he really is going to play Iron Man, then that's pretty damned sweet.

On Transformers: Whether or not it's crap, I will go see it. Whether or not it has to center around some dumb kid so "the audience can relate to someone," I will go see it. Whether or not the Transformers act like Digimon characters, as I perceived them In the few episodes I watched of the first Transformers anime thing, I will go see this movie. The original animated Motion Picture is a classic; it's one of my favorite damn movies ever. Although this movie will probably be much different... but I heard Spielberg is an executive producer, or something. Somehow, that means gold.

On Indiana Jones IV: I haven't looked at that link yet, but that sounds promising. I've also heard Harrison Ford say he's ready to do another movie, but that the writing has been taking 4 years... (EDIT: 4? Try 12.) wait, did I read that in links you posted here? Probably... been a while since I looked at this thread.

What about X Men 3? That's gonna rock! Except there's no Gambit in it... and it's being directed by the guy who made the Rush Hour movies... and it's way behind in production, I think... they've gotta be rushing some things... (I've been following this movie since the Summer after X2 came out.)

I don't remember what else you mentioned, but I'm not really interested in the horror movies.

Wuv, Yer Mom

EDIT: Oh! I'm also somewhat looking forward to the Bourne and TMNT movies.

Yes! definately the new BOURNE movie. Those are nothing short of amazing. TMNT i could live without, but I enjoyed them growing up.

And yes, I did a little research myself and just noticed there are 7 Narnia books. The Caspian is the next installment in the movie series due out in 2007, they are working on the script right now. They started off with the 2nd book for the first movie, and the sequel will jump to the 4th book.. however the movies are being created in the Publication order. Macmillan actually numbered the books so the way the books are numbered plays little role in how the movies will be made... but if the movies continue to follow the order they are being made now... they should play out as follows:

1. The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe (2005)
2. Prince Caspian (2007)
3. The Voyage of the Dawn Treader (Unknown)
4. The Silver Chair (Unknown)
5. The Horse and His Boy (Unknown)
6. The Magician's Nephew (Unknown)
7. The Last Battle (Unknown)

However, Chronologically the books should be read:

1. The Magician's Nephew (personally think this should have been the first movie since it tells of how aslan created the world and how evil entered into it)
2. The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe
3. The Horse and His Boy (from what i've read this story plays very little role over all.. i wouldnt expect a movie)
4. Prince Caspian
5. The Voyage of the Dawn Treader
6. The Silver Chair
7. The Last Battle
