th film is called ghost in the machine in which the film deals with a dead serial killer traped in the internet and killing people with their own computer with tons of gore and blood but what makes it so wetrd is the ending in which the killer's head is choped off by a group of people and the soul keeps killing after the living person is dead.

Im not trying to be Disrespectful to you Darksephiroth (just towards the movie), but that movie sounds pretty stupid. I've being a fan of scary movies, and thats sort movies, and I always criticize this type of movies because they lack the kind of realism (not actual reality, but credibility) it needs in order to be effective (in this case scary or at least interesting)
Example: A: Nightmare on Elm Street (Good Scary Movie): A killer is burned alive in his house and makes a pact with some evil creature that controle dreams in some sort and they grant him the ability to kill people in their dreams. Kind of hard to believe... but credible. B: Jack Frost (Bad Scary Movie): A serial killer dies burned or melted in acid (Im not sure which) and it combines himself with the snow, now he is a walking, murdering SNOWMAN. A good way to turn a movie into a joke. It lacks credibility and sence alltogether. See what I mean. A better premesis for a story than Ghost in the Machine would be if the serial killer get trapped in his computer and devotes his afterlife to kill computer viruses... Lol.

I thought Jack Frost was the one with Michael Keaton!? Lol it was a movie that I watched every Christmas Eve whilst preparing for the 25th. It was never scary. Or am I thinkin of a different movie? Jack Frost IS the one where Michael Keaton dies and reappears as a snowman right? But hes friendly....

I'm pretty sure he meant another movie Snave.
How is Nightmare on Elm Street credible? Oh yeah, I hear that all the time. A guy that kills people in their dreams. I can't believe I doubted that for a second. </sarcasm For a good thriller (scary movie associates to cheap horror flicks from Americaso I prefer the term Thriller), watch movies like 28 Days Later. Now that is a movie that is believable and credible since it blames the zombification on a disease rather than some other unbelievable garbage. The Brits got it right on their first try where as the Americans still search for the perfect recipe.

And Samurai Kenji I, I never said it had to be real, come on. Its a MOVIE! But what I said was that it has to be believable. There its being documented in the past, that people actually claim to have visited other places in their dreams and other type of supernatural tales about the dream world of other sort. Now, Im not saying that you have to believe Freddy Krugger is real, but in order for a scary movie (specially talking about slasher or monster movies) to be scary, you have to believe is real to some point during the movie in order to be scary. Why you think the Blair Witch proyect was so popular... because people believe the whole thing had happened for real. Get my point? And by the way, in my opinion I think the Japanesse are the ones making really good horror movies. Even "Hollywood" is try to copy all their films. But you are right in one point, I am getting tired of Hollywood, they eather copy a good movie from outside the states or they make re-makes of old movies... which suck, in my opinion.

You're right on the japanese horror movies. Hollywood was all over The Ring and The Grudge. Both decent shockers, but were in no way original. For a good ol' yankee horror, go rent jacob's ladder. It's a great movie, and is actually scary at times.

All those movies like Jason and Freddy Kruger I find ridiculous. I watch them to laugh, but they're not to be taken seriously. The types of movies that freak me out would be movies that have a sense of realism in them. Like for instance The Dentist. The thought of a man torturing you in a chair while you're helpless is horrifying. Another one that's partially realistic is the Shining. And by that I mean a father could lose his mind and try to kill his own family in a hotel. Movies with relaism when trying to scare you give you a true sense of how thses things can happen in this world.

Or, Dead Alive for example, that had an explanation for people turning into zombies. The weird little monkey/rat thing that bit the old woman, then she bit someone and so on. And that movie is one of the goriest films that I've seen. If you haven't seen it, go check it out! I'll tell you what I don't like in zombie films. When they make zombies smarter than what they should be. Zombies that can run and open doors with no problem....even use weapons. It's just not scary anymore when they're like that. Next, they'll be using cell phones. They're trying to turn the dead back into civilized humans. Before long, it will just be a bunch of zombies, who function and communicate no different than humans, but just look dead. Not scary. I like the kind of zombies that gather outside of your house in numbers and start clawing and beating on the doors trying to get in. The slow, disoriented zombies that take a little bit to figure out how something works. The moans, groans, slow movements, and when there are large numbers of them is far better than what things are turning into. I love me some zombies. The new Dawn of the Dead and Land of the Dead were shit. Not only did they **** up the way zombies are supposed to be, but they mixed in a bunch of subliminal political things with the zombies. I thought that was stupid....very, very stupid. For Christ's sake....I saw a ****ing zombie cry in Land of the Dead when one of his zombie commrades was shot and killed. Thats right....a zombie.....****ing crying.... I pretty much gave up on most of the new zombie flicks because they're just pissing me off more and more with the metrosexual artistic and political views they're trying to sneak in (of all places) zombie films.

It sounds pretty cool. I've never seen it, but I would probably sit down and watch it -- until I got bored.
I get bored. Oh yah.

I've seen this movie before. It's pretty old. It's like new-generation films like Fear.com... it's an idea that could be turned into a good movie if there were a director good enough to make it, but they are all just too corny to me.
