![]() Lhandria: Apocalypse Overview: Unlike most solar systems Lhandria sits at the center of it's universe. All the worlds revolve around this large, unique, planet, including it's 3 suns. There are a total of 11 planets in this galaxy consisting of Lhandria, Illnia (The first and largest sun), Rosta, Chrionta, Luos (The second and smallest sun), Freidnoq, Ferostia, Gnalse, Djali (The third/final mid sized sun), Pestos, and finally Zayle. There are also two moons that revolve around Lhandria, Mordon and Ludo. Mordon is the moon of the night, or rather, it occupies the night sky. Ludo is the morning moon, rising with the sun, but setting just before noon each day. Here is the Lhandrian Galaxy. Thirteen races live on Lhandria each with their own pre-determined plot of land (country). Uldra Plains, Khalyp, Reid, Hyalta, Kroni, Dietes,Taiika, Khung-Laa, Gorge of Haldom, Schyka, Yuuritz, Ludonia, and Civilization XVIII (18). Here is a Planet Map. Some live peacefully, but of course, some do not.... ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ If you apply, you apply to control a whole race, President, General, and all 3 Commanders included. NOT just one character. You may introduce other characters as well, I just mentioned the necessary ones. Character Application Sheet and other important rules and regulations Name: Age: Sex: Weight: Height: Position (President/General/Commander, etc.): Country/Race: Physical Characteristics: Mental Capacity: Religious Beliefs: Interaction with Others: History: Weapon of Choice: Extra Info: I will expect extreme care and detail to be put into your description. As a kind of example, look at the amount of detail I put into the race descriptions. I will expect no less from you. I would like the History to be very descriptive. As for Extra Info, Religious Beliefs, and Interaction with others, I would like them to be approximately the length that they are in the race descriptions. A perfect example of an extremely rushed poorly done character description, was the skyline character that was posted during the beginnig of this thread. You can tell that very little thought was put into the description. ---IMPORTANT--- Please keep your characters attributes generally within the boundaries of its race. There is obviously little tweaks to the system that are acceptable, but nothing too extreme. Ex. Acceptable- "He was probably one of the smartest of the Ghox, being raised in such an information riich area." Unacceptable-"This Ghox was so smart that he was smarter than the most intelligent Myrlle." ^Not Cool^ ---ALSO--- Please, save me the trouble and do not join if you do not have at least a mediocre understanding of proper English. It causes far too much confusion, and there is much too much writing involved in this TBRPG for someone who cannot use proper spelling and grammar. Basically, if you understand my vocabulary you should be fine. Uldra Plains
Species Name: Uldra Population: 500 000 Physical characteristics: The Uldra look almost identical to your average dragon. They are an approximate 19 feet tall on average. They are well-built powerhouses and have two horns sprouting fom the back of their necks. The only difference between the Uldra and a dragon is that only the females have wings. The males stay land bound and are consequently not as strong as the women. Mentality: They have recently proven to be extremely intelligent creatures, especially the males. They study more vigorously due to their seclusion from the sky and, essentially, adventure. Interactions With Other Countries: They are generally secluded from all other races. However, the Econians of Reid (the Uldra Plains' neighbouring country) seem to look to the Uldra as Gods of some kind. The Uldra are unaware of the reason why the Econians believe this. Religion: The Uldra believe that everything in existence was created not by a God, but by the will of everything that was, and everthing that was to be. Extra Info: The Uldra did not communicate with other countries until just recently. They did not feel the need to until they began sensing some kind of evil arrising in the near future. The others were ignorant of their premonition and saw the Uldras act of kindness as a trick to gain trust and eventually attempt to take over their land. The only race that trusted them were the Econians, who already looked towards the Uldra as their Gods. Since then the Uldra have not interacted with any of the other races and, in conclusion, do not trust anyone. Sadly, they have become endangered over the past 3 centuries due to their inability to adapt to the planets ongoing changes. They have their own name for their country which is Uldriarch, but, since they did not communicate with others for so long, everyone just called it the Uldra Plains. It is located right on the equator, and seems to hang down almost directly between Kroni and Hyalta, homes to the biggest rivals of Lhandria. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Khalyp Species Name: Lidenn Population: 4 000 000 Physical characteristics: The Lidenn stand at approximately six-feet tall, have a grey-black skin colour, and have white pupils. Like humans, they must work to keep their bodies the way they want them. Mentality: They are very mysterious creatures and are always very quiet. They will never say more than what needs to be said. They have complex minds that cannot be explained by anyone of another race, and they themselves do not wish to tell anyone of their secrets. Interactions With Other Countries: They, like previously noted, will only ever interact with other races when absolutely necessary only saying exactly what was intended and leaving. They work together with the Cienna during battle. Religion: They believe that existence stems from darkness itself. They praise Khalypso the god of darkness and even named their country on behalf of him. Do not mistake darkness with evil, they are not in any sense of the word an evil community. Extra Info: All that is known of the Lidenn is that they live in a northern country called Khalyp, and have some kind of 'friendship' with the Cienna of the North. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Reid Species Name: Econian Population: 9 000 000 Physical characteristics: The Econians are the humans of Lhandria. They have our exact physical characteristics. They average out at 5'10". Like the Lidenn they also must work to keep their bodies in their preferred state. Mentality: The Econians are very caring and hospitable. They will help someone/thing in need in an instant. They are not exactly geniuses, but they are not stupid either. They have an average intelligence, which, of course, varies among their race. Interactions With Other Countries: The Econians do not hold any type of grudge against any of the other races in general. They see everyone/thing as a friend until they have reason to believe otherwise. Above all else, they worship the Uldra. Religion: They believe exactly what the Uldra believe. "....that everything in existence was created not by a God, but by the will of everything that was, and everthing that was to be." They also believe that the Uldra were given life to protect them, or be their 'Guardians.' Extra Info: The Econians ancestors descended from the planet Rosta, second closest to Lhandria. They were driven off of their planet by a solar eclipse between Rosta, Rosta's moon Sarta, and the first sun Illnia. Illnia was slowly moving towards Rosta over the past 70 years, and, finally, came close enough to affect Rostas climate. During the eclipse, the suns rays conflicted with the moisture in the ozone layer, evaporating much of Rostas water. The rays also reflected off of the moon, which was on the other side of Rosta, doing the same to the ozone layer on that side. The small amounts of moisture that was left was scalding hot and, when it fell to the ground, it killed plants and small animals, also evaporating most of the water mass. The Econians could not live on Rosta under these conditions, and fled to Lhandria. Upon their arrival the Econians had nowhere to go as they were denied entry to most countries because they were too 'different' and not enough was known about them. They needed a place with a lot of life flourishing around them as they are very spiritual people and love everything the earth gives them. They found these qualities in the Uldra Plains. The Uldra generally ignored the Econians, letting them live off their land freely. The Uldra would unknowingly leave unneeded food and shelter which the Econians would then take as their own. The Uldra eventually decided that they did not need as much land as they had, and they left the land that the Econians were utilizing. When the Uldra left, the Econians believed that the Uldra were placed there to lead the Econians into a suitable land and help them start a community, and, when the Econians were ready, leave. In conclusion, Reid became a country, and the Econians believe that the Uldra are their 'Spiritual Guardians' and worship them. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Hyalta Species Name: Eaudine Population: 1 500 000 Physical characteristics: The Eaudine are equipped for life under the sea or other large bodies of water. On land they look like tall, muscular, humans (normally wearing shorts and a vest, and standing at 7 feet tall). When the penetrate the waters surface, they change into a fish-like figure from the waist down. Mentality: They are a very laid back care free people. They will serve as a best friend, but a ferocious fighter aswell. Interactions With Other Countries: They enjoy mocking those who cannot survive under water, and being carefree, they often insult the wrong person. This sometimes gets them into difficult situations. They fear the Ghox of Kroni because of their strength, attitude, and ability to breathe underwater. They have become good friends with the inhabitants Civilization XVIII, which turned out to benefit them greatly. They know that the people of Civ. XVIII could destroy them and the Ghox alike at the push of a button, which, although could harm them, also serves as a form of protection. Religion: The Eaudine believe that all land elevated from the sea floor, and that the world was once covered in water. They worship the Goddess of water, Nylei, who they presume ordered the waters to form their world and home. Extra Info: Eaudine waters are generally a safe and fun place to frolic most anytime, as they welcome visitors with open arms and often please others with their sense of humour. However, if you enrage an Eaudian, you may not want to ever meet one again, as they are extremely protective and supportive of each other. They mostly reside on a small string of islands called Hyalta, somewhere off the coast of the Uldra Plains. Approximately one third of Lhandria's ocean is Eaudine waters. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Kroni Species Name: Ghox Population: 900 000 Physical characteristics: The Ghox are enormous grey creatures that look almost like rhinocerouses with a coat of fur around their necks. The stand on their hind legs and have large, solid, muscles throughout their body. Like the Eaudine, they are equipped for life in the water aswell. When they enter the water their bottom halves turn into a shark-like figures. Mentality: They are an extremely stupid race. They base their decisions entirely on violence. The more the better. Interactions With Other Countries: They hate everyone, sometimes even each other. They hate the Eaudine more than any of the others. Religion: The Ghox believe that all land elevated from the sea floor, and that the world was once covered in water. They worship the Goddess of water, Nylei, who they presume ordered the waters to form their world and home. They believe that Nylei never intended the Eaudine to exist and because of this they feel a strong need to exterminate the Eaudine. Extra Info: The Ghox were one of the first races to live on Lhandria. When they finally evolved from the primitive Ghox to a smaller form, closer to what they are today, a massive ice storm hit Lhandria. This caused the world to be covered in snow and frigid temperatures. This caused the Ghox to adapt to the weather and grow a fur coat. When the ice finally melted, after a number of years, parts of Lhandria were submerged in water. The Ghox managed to adapt to the circumstances for a second time, and eventually gained the ability to live under water. They strangly kept both the coat of fur and the ability to change for water life even after the climate had returned to its natural state. This shows the Ghoxs inability to revert to a less complex creature. Once the gain an attribute of any kind, they retain that exact attribute no matter what the circumstance. Most of them seem to have accumulated on a small island called Kroni. However, over half of Lhandrias oceans are still Ghox territory. Some believe that the Ghox are a type of Dermott. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Dietes North South Species Name: Cienna Imp Pixie Population: 2 500 000 Physical characteristics: The Cienna stand at approximately 1'6". They have a purple-grey skin colour. The Cienna of the South have wings. Mentality: They are cunning theives who can act their way out of any predicament. Interactions With Other Countries: The Cienna of the North are very close to the Lidenn, and may very well be the only ones that know anything about them. they often will travel with each other working as a team. The Lidenn will do the dirty work, and the Cienna will pick up after them, taking the belongings of the deceased. The Cienna of the South are an independant culture. They fight alongside each other, and distribute the rewards evenly. Religion: Like the Lidenn, the Cienna of the North worship the god of darkness, Khalypso. The Cienna of the South worship the God of Light, Lumine. Extra Info: Every Cienna have their own unique belongings because everything they own is stolen. They are mages and tend to pick staff like weapons (A spoon, stick, paintbrush, etc.). The Cienna of the North are very skilled with dark magic (demi, fire, and poison elements). The Cienna of the South are equally as skilled as their Northern counterparts, except in light magic (heal, lightning, and water elements). The battles of magic that have waged between the Cienna of the North and Cienna of the South over the years have begun to tear away at the country in its center. Evetually, it seems, that the country will split in two and the Cienna will live in peace with their own kind and no need for battle. When a Cienna is born it is either born as an Imp (no wings), who is skilled in dark magic, or a Pixie (winged), who is skilled in light magic. As infants they are sent to their respective halves of the country. Imps are sent North, Pixies are sent South. Of course, if they are born already in their own territory, they remain there. The Cienna of the North and the Cienna of the South have their own individual Government/Army. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Taiika Species Name: Rynne & Dermott Population: 7 000 000 Physical characteristics: The Rynne float above the surface of the ground like ghosts. However, you can physically touch them. They wear cloaks and hats (much like mages). They are about 3 feet tall & elevate 3 feet from the ground. Therefore their heads sit at about 6 feet high. The Dermott are a type of animal. There are 3 types which reside in Taiika, Lessa, Berla, and Tyne. The Lessa are a kind of alligator, looking creature. They are very agile in water, and have extremely strong jaws. The Berla are bear-like creatures. They can run up to 60 mph and are extremely strong. The Tyne look like eagles. They can fly and have extremely keen eyesight. Mentality: The Rynne are extremely smart, and can speak to the Dermott through telekenisis. The Dermott only trust the Rynne. Interactions With Other Countries: Taiika is in a feud with Khung-Laa. They have never even acknowledged the existence of any other countries. Religion: Like the Cienna of the South, the Rynne worship the god of light, Lumine. The Dermott believe the Rynne are their masters. Extra Info: A Rynne can genetically combine him/herself with a Dermott. It will appear as if the Rynne is riding the Dermott, but, in actuality, they are attached. They will often use this technique for transport, but have recently needed to use it to wage war against Khung-Laa. No one knows why the Rynne and the Dermott have this spiritual bond. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Khung-Laa Species Name: Lupinne Population: 5 750 000 Physical characteristics: The Lupinne are Rynne permanently combined with the extinct Dermott race, Lupere. They are approximately 7 feet tall, and look somewhat like werewolves with torn Rynne clothing (cloaks and sometimes hats). Mentality: They are an extremely smart and cunning race. Interactions With Other Countries: Khung-Laa is in a feud with Taiika. They have never even acknowledged the existence of any other countries. Religion: They believe that the night moon, Mordon, is their God, watching over them from the skies. Extra Info: There once was a fourth Dermott race called the Lupere. They looked much like your average wolf. They were having a difficult time competing with the rest of the Dermott races who were much larger and more capable of hunting. The Lupere's strengths were speed and agility, which, although useful attributes, did not match up to the abilities of the other 3 Dermott. However, one extraordinary thing about them was their intelligence. One night they came up with a plan, they would infiltrate the capital of Taiika, Khung-Laa. The city was mainly used for political matters which generally only concerned the Rynne, and, consequently, there were not very many Dermott. They were successful in their intrusion and soon took control of the city. The Rynne feared their power causing them to flee from the city of Khung-Laa. This was not the end of the Lupere's plan, they needed the help of the Rynne. They convinced some of the Rynne that they were not a threat and would protect them. Most of the Rynne did not believe them and abandoned the city, but, some, agreed to live with the Lupere. The plan was going exactly as intended. Late one night, a small group of Lupere were sent out to attack a small village, without telling the Rynne. The next day the people of the village retaliated. The Lupere told the Rynne that they did not know why they were being assaulted and needed their help to fend off the attackers. The Rynne agreed to combine with the Lupere for the battle. This is exactly what the Lupere needed to finish off their plan. As soon as they were combined the Lupere used the Rynne's psychic powers to keep them permanently combined. From that point on, the Lupere were no more. They were now Lupinne, a breed of Dermott genetically enhanced by the powers of the Rynne. The Lupinne were now equal in strength to the rest of the Dermott. The city of Khung-Laa was thenceforth secluded from the rest of Taiika, becoming its own country. They slowly expanded their territory into Taiika through war, enlarging Khung-Laa. The Rynne and Dermott of Taiika will never forgive the Lupinne for their tricks, and the war will only end when one of the two countries are destroyed. |

Gorge of Haldom Species Name: Minions of the Abyss Population: ??? Physical characteristics: The Minions of the Abyss have the physical characteristics of any of the other 12 races except for the fact that they look zombified. They are tinted darker than they normally would be, and have empty eye sockets. The Uldra of the Gorge's wings have deteriorated and have holes in them. Sometimes they even lose their wings altogether. The Reij of the Gorge have no armor as they were extracted from it before being condemned to the Gorge. this causes them to endure extreme suffering for all of eternity. Mentality: Their mental capacity varies according to they race of which they came from. Interactions With Other Countries: They were secluded from their respective countries and hate the country of which they came. Religion: They believe in no God. Extra Info: The residents of the Gorge of Haldom were damned to the Gorge for treasonous acts against their country. The Gorge of Haldom was agreed upon by the other 12 countries to be the 'prison' in which any criminal sent from their countries would spend the rest of eternity. There was a magic seal placed over the Gorge to prevent anyone inside from dying. A gift? Not at all... Non-stop fighting raged in the depths of the Gorge because any rivalry that went on between races outside the Gorge still was in affect beneath the surface. However just recently, some kind of order has been set in the Gorge by a 'presidential' figure who seems to have gained the respect of the others (probably through power and violence). He has convinced the others to unite into an enormous army, and they are planning a revolt to unleash their revenge upon the rest of the world. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Schyka Species Name: Kyrt Population: 7 000 000 Physical characteristics: The Kyrt are short beetle-like creatures. They have two strong wings on their back that look and act as a shell or a form of protection. They are approximately 4 feet tall. Mentality: The Kyrt are not very smart, but they are a very caring race that values life to an extreme. Interactions With Other Countries: The Kyrt are a very timid people. They are somewhat afraid of other races, and try to avoid most anybody. However, they do have a friendship with the Econians of Reid, who love all of nature. Religion: They do not have much of a religion. They believe that the rulers are whoever is strongest to lead. Extra Info: They are able to control the actions of large swarms of insects for whatever reason they may have. It is believed that they originated from the planet Forestia, it is said a large egg was sent out by the Forestians, so that they could fertilize the rest of the galaxy with their kin. Some believe a meteor that hit Lhandria thousands of years ago was actually that exact egg, but no one, not even the Kyrt themselves, are sure. They generally avoid conflict, but if and when they need to engage an enemy, they tend to fight from afar with their swarm battalions. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Yuuritz Species Name: Szapielle Population: 625 000 Physical characteristics: They are an extremely scrawny race. They stand at about 5 feet tall. Their numbers are few because they live in the North and are not properly outfitted physically for the climate. They wear enormous parka's and look like little Eskimos. Mentality: They are a race of average mentality. Some think they are stupid for not leaving Yuuritz with the condition they are in, but they have a reason. Interactions With Other Countries: Some believe that they must have some kind of relationship with the Myrlle of Ludonia because the most southern part of their continent almost touches it. However, they do not even know that the Myrlle exist. Religion: They believe that the spirit of a White Lupere is their guardian. Extra Info: As small and harmless as they may look, the Szapielle are a savage race. They have to acquire that kind of 'do-or-die' mentality so that they could survive in their climate. they have a small army, which, in actuality, is made up mostly of hunters that are skilled with the harpoon. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Ludonia Species Name: Myrlle Population: 925 000 Physical characteristics: The Myrlle are small, white, bird-like creatures. They stand at an exact 3'6" no matter who they are, and wear cloaks of varying colour. Mentality: They are quite possibly the smartest race on Lhandria. They all descended from scientists that came from the morning moon, Ludo. Interactions With Other Countries: Everyone half-decent enjoys the company of the Myrlle, as they are quite enjoyable, funny little fellows that supply Lhandria with great knowledge. Religion: Being scientists, they believe that everything stems from evolution. Extra Info: The Myrlle are the only ones that understand why Ludo is only out in the morning. It actually has to do with a kind of black hole. Ludo orbits Lhandria twice as fast as Mordon, causing it to rise and set faster than Mordon. This should mean that Ludo alternates between being in the sky during morning and during the afternoon. However, a small area of clouded space that sits in the orbit of Ludo freezes it in place until it is time for it to rise during the morning again. This does not pose any extreme threat to Lhandria, but it is very dangerous for those that live on the moon. While in the 'void' (we'll call it) severely dangerous storms terrorize Ludo. Lightning touches down all across the planet, killing hundreds of people every day. That is why the people of Ludo sent all their vessels could carry of their smartest citizens down to live on Lhandria. During battle, they normally will use enormous gun-like weapons that are very high-tech. (Think the weapons that the Covenant uses in Halo.) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Civilization XVIII (18) Species Name: Reij Population: 2 000 000 Physical characteristics: The Reij are very weak and frail creatures that reside in the body of a robot. They have harnessed the ability of electricity and use it greatly to their advantage. If it was not for this than they would not survive. Mentality: They are very intelligent creatures. They know how to operate heavy machinery or any type of computerized programming device. Interactions With Other Countries: They are very kind creatures, but their ability to use electrical devices frightens most of the other races. However, The Eaudine of Hyalta, and Myrlle of Ludonia, understand how electricity works (the Hyalta, out of fear, became friends with the Reij and the Myrlle are scientists) so they are not as afraid. Religion: They have no need for Religion as they are sure that, through technology, they will find a cure for death. Extra Info: Without their suits of robotic armor, the Reij would not be able to communicate with the other races. They have no mouths and use their minds to speak through the suit. They do not have names as they feel they have no need for them. Instead, they are organized into colour-coded 'rankings.' The common civilian wears Grey armor. There is nothing special about them. A low class foot-soldier wears Blue armor. It is equipped with a sword on it's arm. A low-class ranged soldier wears Yellow armour. It has a gun for an arm. A higher form of experienced soldier wears large Green armor. They have large cannons attached to their backs and are sometimes referred to as 'tanks.' Highlight the following where it seems there is no text to read. Another form of experienced soldiers are dressed in Black armor. Both of their arms are swords and they are very light and stealthy. They are occasionally referred to as 'assasins.' Commanders are dressed in White. They have gained the respect to be referred to as 'Commander' White. They have the attributes of both the 'tanks' and the 'assasins.' The General is dressed in Red armor. He is referred to as Mr. Red, and has a completely custom weapon. The President is dressed in full body, Gold-plated armor. He too has a custom weapon and is named President Gold. Each and every member of the army's suit also can revert to a model that is exact in shape and maneuverability to the Grey's. They retain their colour, however. |
