Well definitely different, should definitely bring an interesting approach to the combat, since she will probably more simplistic, logical and cold hearted about matters as opposed to the human members. Should bring in some nice contrasting views between the others and some conflict. Play the role right, and we should tons of fun, I look forward to seeing how it goes. Everything looks good, just waiting on Red now, who said he just got his appendix out a few days ago, so I figure once he is up to posting, we will have a full character list and be able to start up.

My post is probably 2/3 complete or so now. So I should be ready whenever we get Red's post.

Well Red XIV PM'd me saying that his backing out of the RP. So I guess we have everyone with their characters then. With that I will start the RP, you will be able to find the intro up in the usual place. Anyone else wanting to join should start asking soon. I will leave it open, but your chances of getting will grow smaller as time goes by.

Also, forgot to mention, there is one event I am going to control. That is the Federation breaking through the shield and starting their invasion. That is the only thing I will say, aside from that it is all up to how people decide. I just want some setup time on both sides before letting lose everything. So keep that in mind.

Alright, I just want to let you all know that I would be very busy tomorrow and Tuesday for I have mid-terms. Luckily, I only have three tests to take--two in one day and one the next day. Therefore, I would not be online on those two days. Just wanted to tell you that.

I read your post 2nd Power, unfortunately I have to ask you alter it.

The Colony do not have Gundams, at least not right now, that is the Earth forces mobile suit, and about only suit too, which is why only they have the Gunda, it would be a different story if the Earth Forces had mobile suits and an army, but they do not.

Also, in all the Gundam show's ship do not have shields. They only use armor and different methods around the armor. That is one of the traditional things about Gundam, one shot can blow up a ship.

I am sorry, while it is an original story, it still follows certain guidelines that the series has developed.

My apologies. I had inferred from the background post in this thread that they did have Gundams, but it appears I had been confused. Let me get this straight. They have mobile suits, but they're not Gundams, correct?

I could have sworn that I've seen something referring to shields in a few Gundam episodes before, but then again, you've seen a lot more than I have, and I could easily be thinking of something else.

In any case, it's an easy fix.

It is ok, they substitute shields for armor or methods of armor. Like in the Gundam Seed, that have the special phase shift technology that also it to be stronger than normal suits. But it also puts a huge drain on the power for the suits which is all in fuel cells or batteries. Which would be the same here, since nuclear power is forbidden there will be either fuel, battieries, fuel cells or some deriative.

The large ship in Gundam Seed, that was like the White Base, use very similar technology as the phase shift, but it was always active I think and far stronger. But even it takes damage eventually.

But other shows like G Gundam, Gundam Wing and Mobile Suit Gundam, there did not have shields. It was actually pretty easy to destroy ships. Which I think why Mobile Suit battle were important, since they were harder to hit and could just as easily destroy ships.

And yes, at this point in the story, the colonies do not Gundams. But they have plenty of mobile suits. Which will balance things out since there are only 3 Gundams. As the story progress there could be Gundams in the colonies as they do research for new mobile suits to combat the Gundams. It would be only natural that the colonies would develop new suits to combat the superior Gundams. But that is something that will happen further down the road. It always happens in the shows, that at the end there are more powerful suits.

Everything seems fine, I have no problems with it. Glad to see you posted, I think we are only missing one person. Atma told me that he burned his hand, so he has been unable to type anything at length. But hopefully he will be able to resume shortly.

I would be interested in joining this rp, if it is not too late. First of all, what all available positions do you have aside from generic ones, such as Earth Federation Pilot, civilian, and the like? Pardon the short post.

Well there is no Earth Federation, it is the Colonial Federation. But the masked villain/character is already taken, so it really does not matter who you are. You are only as generic as you make your character. You can be a Gundam Pilot, a colonial soldier, a machanic or anything in between. It is pretty much up to you who you want to be. In the Gundam series there are more then just the pilots, there is the captain, bridge crew, repair crews, and whatever else.

The RP is still early so it is safe to join. Just as usual post your character profile before posting, so we can see who you want to be. There probably will not be any issues, but it is always best to check.

Name : Akusuyu Haroshime
Age : 18

Nationality : Japanese
Appearance : Akusuyuu has the facial appearance of one that does have Japanese blood in their recent background. His face is slightly covered by his black hair, which contains blue highlights. His violet eyes almost seem black because of his dark hair. He stands at about the average height for someone of Japanese heritage, 5' 2". He has a scar along his left arm from some training he had in the past.
Background : When Akusuyuu was about six years old, his parents went to do some research outside of the Safe Zone, but they never came back. Since Akusuyuu did not have much choice in his life, considering he was only six years old, he placed into the custody of one of the scientists that were responsible for some sort of secret mobile suit project. To Akusuyuu, the scientist had no other name than Scientest No. 01. In the facility, there were no need for names. Akusuyuu quickly learned to respond to Student No. 36. He never did forget his name. Through the years, he was constantly trained in all aspects of combat. Day after day, year after year, he was in a combat simulation of sorts, either a pilot sim or sword combat. At about the age of 16, he had an accident during a simulation and ended up with a scar on his left arm. He quickly recovered and was back at training. When he reached the age of 17, Scientist No. 01 explained to him about the secret mobile suit project that was codenamed GUNDAM. Once the project was explained to him, Scientist No. 01 told him that he was to be one of the pilots, but it would take a little time for his GUNDAM to be constructed. That was all that was told to him before he was shipped off to a village on the southern coast of what was once believe to be called China. He has been living there ever since.

Well everything seems fine, I guess you will make your own arrangements for getting to Antarctica City.

Atma let me know his hand is feeling better, so he should be resuming posting habits by tomorrow or so. I am pleased with the way everything is going smoothly, it is nice to having a solid group of people. Hope the RP can keep going for a while.

I have been wondering where everyone is, I know most of you have posted at least once. If you are waiting for us to reach the city, you do not have to. You can keep posting and doing things as your characters normally would. There is no need for hold back posting because we are not in the same area yet.

You guys can go on your own story lines until we all meet up, there is nothing stopping you. About the only that is really in the wing waiting is the invasion, which will happen soon, I am just waiting for the right moment to post it up. Otherwise you can do what you will.

Oh and Tsiiri, I was wondering when you will be posting and Seraph as well. I have not really heard much from either of you, more Seraph since you have been here longer.

All right, no problem; again, I have been rather busy searching for colleges and such. As of right now, I am trying to gather some ideas for my character, so I can't really say when I can post. =/

Oh ok, even knowing that you are all alive and not lost interest in the RP is good too. Atma and me are having a fun old time between our posting but I hate to make you feel like you are being left out. So I was just checking in on things. I know that with my post that we are going to the city, so there will probably more things to work off of soon.
