The Sixth Tower

The Sixth Tower is an original RP of my design. The plot is as follows:

The country of Granor, a tyrannical king, King Zarka, rules the land with an iron fist. The king's army was the strongest than any other anywhere. But as of late, a new nation is rising. Isadora, a struggling nation to the south of Granor, have been building a large militia, reasons unknown. Isadora was once an ally to Granor and the King, trading rare rocks and minerals, from their crystal mines. Recently, though, the Emperess of Isadore, Lord Mika, has been recruiting mercenaries from all over the world to train her new army. King Zarka, having captured one of the Empresses many messengers, found that the Emperess had been studying Necromancy. The Emperess had bought a book of shadows from an old lady in a small mining town. The messenger also told of the Gates of Hell, the land of Shadows. The Emperess wished to go this land, and become one with the shadows. Most of the people of Isadora were frightened of Mika as of late. She had been acting very violent and had been studying shadow magic. The Emperess; unknown to any, was being controlled by the Shadow Lord, king of the Gates of Hell. In his tower, the sixth of a series of ancient towers in the land of shadows, was controlling the Emperess through the shadow book. The Lord wished to use her, for she was very easy to control. Using her to build him an army, he planned on using her to destroy the world, bringing the world into shadows, his dream. Word has reached Zarka of Isadora preparing to attack Granor. Zarka sent out his soldiers to deal with the threat. The Filganian Knights were the Kings finest soldiers. The king has sent them out to the southern coast, with an army of several thousand men. The Isadorian army was travelling by boat to Granor, with thousands of troops, and even legendary Necromancers.
In this RP you can play as one of the Filganian Knights, a soldier for either army, a Necromancer, or anyone. Plus, this is medieval like.

Name: Galen Scharnhorst
Gender: Male
Age: 48
Physical Appearance: A tall, weathered man with deep lines on his face. Despite the scars and wrinkles he has gained from age, his eyes sparkle with a fire reflecting a kind, passionate heart. Beneath the thin robes of a statesman he wears the same thick, worn leather armour he wore as a soldier. His hairline has receded to the point that it looks as though he has had a monk's tonture shaved onto his head. His remaining greying blonde hair is long enough to be tucked into his belt and is usually tied back with a leather cord. He maintains a well-trimmed beard, however his wife believes that his eyebrows could use some pruning.
Class: Retired Filganian Knight, now a minister of King Zarka's court
Weapon: (no longer carries one)
Bio: In his younger days, Scharnhorst was a proud Filganian Knight, carrying out his king's bloody orders without fail or question. As an older man, Galen pursues justice using diplomacy as his tool instead of a sword. As one of the few moderates in the court of Granor (who are usually silent, fearful of the rage of the king), Galen does his best to both promote what he now believes to be honourable and just while at the same time carefully quelling the aggressive and confrontational nature of King Zarka. For his words and wisdom, Scharnhorst is favoured by many and hated by Zarka's sycophants.

Name: Gregory Burtania
Gender: Male
Age: 31
Physical Appearance: Shoulder-length black hair. Black mustache and long black beard. Wears a necklace of algrator (alligator-like monsters, native to Caro, a country to the far west) teeth from his home country. Has a scar on left cheek (from the Hild War. the country of Caro's war for independance.). Wears worn leather armor breast plate, old gauntlets, and loose brown pants.
Weapon: Lance (family heirloom)
Bio: Native to the country of Caro. Fought in the Hild War at the age of 19. Uses the lance of his grandfather, the legendary hero, Mithganius, who helped fight the Shadow Lord long ago. After Caro's victory against the Granorian Army (Caro was once a slave country of Granor, used as an industrial colony because of its rare metals found in the mountains of Caro), Gregory settled down in a mountain village in the north of Caro. There he married a shop keeper, Myra, and had two children, Ben and Opal. Sadly, recently, Isadorian soldiers invaded Caro, and destroyed his village, killing his family. Gregory fought the soldiers, but was forced to leave the country. He sneaked onto a pirate boat in a port town and managed to escape the country. He arrived in Granor and begged the king for help. The king said that he would aid Caro if Gregory would help him battle the oncoming onslaught of the Isadorian Army. Zarka knew of Gregory's heritage and knew of him as a strong warrior. Gregory accepted and joined the Filganian Knights and headed for the coast.
