In a world where kingdoms rise and fall, magic and skill rule, traditions weigh heavily and swords a plenty not all is what it once was. When the first mages had become to proud for their own good they began to bicker over who was the best. This led to kingdoms dividing over which magic was better and now prejeduice has overtaken the world... It seems that evil has followed suit. Now will the different mages be able to put aside their differences and band together to fight this evil?

That's what I got right now. I'm hoping for an old school rp. Anyways I'm not going to list all the towns and what are there magics or what have you. I think you should be capable enough to think it up yourselves. It'll make you read everyones characters too.

Oh.. just because I mentioned a lot about mages dosen't mean there can't be any good ole Knights and non-magic users. So if you want to join post your character stats. Any ideas you got for the rp post them too.

Bio: Tsi is not really much of a magic user. He is an assassin who has studied the dark magic enough to learn how to meld shadows. He prefers to use stealthly tactics, but can fight head-on, if need be. He can tolerate those that learn other magics, except light. He believes those that learn the magic of light should be slaughtered.
Description: Tsi wears a black leather assassin's outfit. He has violet eyes and short black hair. His twin daggers are in sheathes placed at his hips and the katana is in a sheath. Both are tied on tight, as to not make noise.


I have no ideas at the moment, but I'll tell you if I think of something. Hmm...could you remind me what an oldschool RP is? I've been wondering that.

Bio:A Monk in search of adventure, after being thrown out of a temple for missing multiple worships. As a child, children were sent to temples to learn magic, kendo not only excelled in summoning but also hand to hand and weapons. Being the envy of all classes of not being able to be beaten, even when outnumberd, took time off of class.
Physical description: Dark skin short spikey white hair and green eyes, very odd looking young, with an innocence surrounding him.
Magic: has little experience in light (hehe) but is know among many cities for summoning and befriending multiple beasts from other dimensions, kendo doesnt believe in killing hes for the preservation of life.

Name: Flinn Foursciante

Homeland: Lys, Ainiv an island off the mainland.
Weapon: A combination of his hands, feet, elbows, etc...

Bio: Flinn is one of many young men on the island of Ainiv. Also the oldest son within his family. The combination is common enough but in his hometown Lys it's the expectations required to become a blue mage.

Flinn was born fatherless but that position was taken by a fisherman who had enticed Flinn's mother. His "father" never treated him like a son which was expected. Outside the home however it was if Flinn was his "fathers" pride and joy.

Flinn's life was simple especially when supposedly his actual father was a well known blue mage. Knowing that when he would come of age he would undertake the trial to become a blue mage. He trained like all the others that would take the trial. Between studying the ability to learn monster's techniques and the rigors of the intense physical training Flinn surprisingly still had time to enjoy all the pleasantries of life. This molded his mind into a care free nature.

Physical description: Flinn is the same size as any average seventeen year old. 5"9, 143 lbs. All the physical training has made him quite defined. He has medium length red hair. Due to the tropical like climate of Ainiv he is well tanned and doesn't usually wear a shirt. When he does put one on it is supposedly one of his fathers. It's a brown sleeveless shirt with grey lining. He sports the traditional blue pants that represent a blue mage. His however have two long yellow lines coming down each side since he isn't a blue mage yet.

There you have it. If we get some more people joining I think I'll ask someone to play the villain and some others to be his seconds in command or something. If either of you think of anything post away.

Bio:
Murawgi is a traveler. Its his profession. After he cursed his destiny to hell he started his walk, and hasnt stopped since, now its how he makes money. Where he recieves his money, nobody knows, but he always seems to have a supply of it somewhere on him. Traveling from town to town, he's never had a use for magic.

His wooden sword is a weapon his master had carved for him from the hardest tree in the villiage where he resided. The wooden edge is really a dull but very hard edge, and a wooden handle that feels as if it was actually metal. Blunt, sturdy, and holds many memory's, and unnoticable spots of blood from the bodies its encountered over its travels.

Bio: Travels often, is rarely seen in the same place for long periods of time. Rumor has it that he was once a part of a society of dark mages, but has since been kicked out in disgrace. Pursues his own ends, cares little about anything else. Rarely speaks.

Appearance: Saiko has all the qualities of someone you would not want to meet in a back alley. Badness seeps out of his pores. He’s tall and lean, with deeply tanned skin. His hair is kept in messy black spikes, which makes him look rough and dangerous. His eyes are coffee brown, and they are constantly assessing. A paper-thin scar runs through his right eyebrow, an underlying testament to his dangerous lifestyle. His face is all hard planes, with a goatee giving him a more mature look. His smiles can chill blood or melt your bones, depending on the desired effect.


Personality: You know how people say that there's good in everyone? They forgot Saiko Harasaki. The man is evil incarnate. Drinking, thievery, and deceit are the least of his sins. The man is a monster, in a sense. He cares for no one at all. Anyone opposing his cause may as well consider themselves dead. Don't make an attempt to read good into his actions. Everything the man does, he does for personal gain. He'll switch alliances frequently. He's a smooth talker, and manipulative. He's just about insane, but that makes sense. After all, with evil comes insanity, because otherwise the human spirit is near incapable of it. Despite all that, he can easily instill trust. His brown eyes are view by most as warm and friendly, twinkling like fresh cut diamond. He has handsome white teeth, and as I mentioned, a killer smile. He's talkative (though generally not honest), and likes to raise hell. He drinks, parties, and generally lives life on the edge. He's almost never completely sober. With what he's plotting, being sober for too long might cause a psychotic break.


Past/Mission: Saiko Harasaki was the son of Soichiro Harasaki. His mother was named Raisa, but she died barely two years after Saiko's birth giving birth to his sister, Elise, and thus, is not important to the story. Soichiro was a powerful red mage, yet to Saiko, seemed not to fully use his power. He basically had free reign over Caedmyn, but was very kind to his people, frequently pardoning them of crimes. His kindness killed him. A man whom he had pardoned of a supposed assassination attempt killed him when Saiko was 15 years old. Saiko then became the unofficial ruler of the the people. His father's death seem to drive him into a frenzy, for he trained constantly, and became a far more fearsome red mage than his father ever was. And as such, but also because of his position in Caedmyn, he quickly became tangled in the bickering of the other mages from other countries.

Saiko however, does not take a stance in all this, "My magic is better than your magic" nonsense. Each magic has its inherent weakness (white is weak against dark, red against blue, and so on), so there is no point in arguing about what is better. He can definitely say he prefers red magic, but it cannot be the best anymore than the other magicks can. And during his short reign, he got really fed up (and by this, I mean irate), with all the bickering. Seeing as Saiko as is a man of action, he formulated a plan. He stepped down, allowing his younger sister Elise to rule. He then set up a base of operation in Srats, which is a small village in the volcanic mountains of Caedmyn. It's almost unheard of, and well isolated. Perfect for plotting. He built a temple there, complete with barracks for those who sign up for his cause. And now he has gone out campaigning for volunteers, he is going to kill every well known mage in the world. Well, him or his minions. He'll also kill anyone who gets in the way.

Note: It should be duly noted, that while campaigning for his cause, he works under the alias of Laeylon. His skill as a red mage makes well-known around the world, so it's easier for him to work without that getting in the way.

Welcome MkBwazaa. I'm glad to see that my rp is slowly growing. Hopefully Tsi and guccistlye will make a post and catch up to 2nd and I. Well that's about it....for now.

I'm sorry to say this but I've got to drop this rp. Recently I've been having some issues and it's really messing with my writing....anyways you all can keep the rp going if you want it doesn't matter to me. In the future I may be able to squeeze in a post. Again I'm sorry everyone.
