Anime Parody RP Idea

Hmm... Maybe jus Rp some everday life Anime Rp, that has some FLCL elements to it. <<Kenji's Idea>> Probably Samurai Kenji, could be the retired samurai who works in a sushi shop, and maybe I could be the anime otaku. Yu can change the character however you want it, but the Otaku would always be listening to his cd player, reading manga, and always eating at Kenji's Sushi shop. Andromeda its up to you now.

Well from what it seems it looks like a normal Tokyo city is what people are looking at right now. With this idea, we would naturally end up with having a school in the city with students. Though being just a normal Toyko is the question what sort of twist would we want. The expanse of venues is just about as broad. As well as do we want simple students, or adult controled characters.

Thinking about the specifics of the what characters we have is not important. Setuping up what sort of world is the first thing right now, which is why no character bios were posted or required. World creation comes first, and right now there is nothing talked about with all the character talk.

I was discussing this idea with LocoColt just a little while ago. I think we could go with a FLCL/GTO combo. And yes, minus the giant robots. Instead, tiny robots! About 1-5 inches tall! And they can be the things that save the Earth from evil or something XD Makes fun of so much right there XD On the GTO line of things, and the whole school setting, LocoColt and I were thinking he could be the Principal of the school, and I could be the unorthodox teacher who he keeps trying to get fired. I can also be some eccentric scientist who created the previously mentioned micro-sized robots to protect the world... or something xD

Being in a school setting we can play around with a lot of things having little gads a long the chapters. Can do an Inuyasha spoof, Yu Yu Hakusho, Full Metal Panic, Mahorubo(sp) and whatever anime takes place during school settings. And then there are the students. I already said I would be one of the female students in a mini skirt, we will have to decide on an age group, probably 15-17 considering that is general age, sometimes Middle School, though Japanese do like their mature teenagers, girls have to have breasts >.> Though to have fun I think the girl will be flat chest, going opposite to the stereotype. Lina Inverse hehe ^^ It came be the running joke to make comments about my small chest, just like Ed and being short. Common anime theme. Though we'll need either a NPC that has a large chest just for stereotype sake, or someone being the character. And need a guy other is either insecure/cool/mysterious or something like that. Though it really depends on the way things go. We can have a general action/drama/comedy or a romance/comedy or something in between. Or something else, but I cannot think what the else is at the moment. This also depends on how many RPers we end up with as well.

Fruits Basket, rofl. Now that would definitely add some strange possibilities. I think it can be summed up in one word: Ayame. Haha, I have to go watch it again now. Or not, seeing as it's 12:47a.m.

But anyway, I just wanted to mention that thought. Unfortunately, I'm not particularly good at writing humor, much less parodies. I just wanted to pitch in an idea for you guys though, if that's ok.

I agree with you there ^^;; One noun and two pronouns: the school nurse. If I wasn´t so tired, I could name a few examples of anime series with a large chested school nurse XD

See, normally we would just go down the food chain here to determine who becomes the cute, cuddly character and come to rat, since it's an underused animal with great potential, right? Wrong. We need to head UP the food chain. So it's rat, cat, dog and then teradactyl! Of course, we're going to run into a problem with implementing a teradactyl into a modern Tokyo setting--It just isn't cute enough. So you have regroup and think here: What would a teradactyl have trouble preying on? And then everything becomes clear...

A porcupine! At this point you're all probably slapping yourselves on the forehead and wondering why you didn't think of this before, and then after a quick, giddy, schoolgirlish screech praise me for the ingenius effort I put forth for this RP.

Anywho, since my entry into this RP is assured (it really isn't, is it?) I will go on to talk about a hypothetical persona I have in mind! Picture it: suave debonair coxcomb by day, red lights district-combing crossdresser with a sensitive side and taste for fine booze and furries by night! Where will his adventures leave him in the morning?! Well--

Well I think we should definitely play with the school theme a little bit. Well for a twist we could make this a special school specialized on something in particular. If you so badly want robots to be in it you can make the school some place of research or something. Id rather have it be something else but I cant think of what right now. The school could also be in really upscale part of Tokyo paving the way for a couple of snobby characters or something. All just ideas by the way.

Hmmm...a porcupine. That might have something to it. Whats better than a cuddly little creature that when you pet it and play with it, it inflicts you with horrible pain. Hehehe...I like that.

Again I want to remind if we do this that I would like to be the suave debonoir who hits on all the woman. Ill be the one making remarks on all the womans features be it flat or redicuously huge. Wouldnt mind him being SOLDIER's character's drinking buddy that doesnt know about the whole cross dressing thing.

Well I am back from my conference, so other than me trying to finish my school in the next two months I do not have much interupting my life. So here we go, I decided who will be in the RP.

As for the setting, its still a little in the air as I cannot nail everything down as exactly as I want. But I guess I will leave a lot of the building of the setting as we go along. Considering it is anime, and a parody strange things that may not fit into the plot will not see out of place. From the general basis to work from we have a school, a High School, in what seems like a normal town. But do not really know what town yet. Got a mascot animal that will randomly show up and something strange with micromachine robots things, well they are really small.

Episode 1 of whatever the name of the anime is. It will be a general character introduction episode, flesh out character personalitys and the RPs personality, nothing too crazy quite yet. And something strange at the end to make people's heads turn around.

Things I want to sort out before I make the first post.

• Genre, straight out comedy and parody or we adding a little extra to this like drama, love, thriller, mystery, horror, etc.
• Need to run out some ideas for a name of the anime RP.
• Character Bio for your character and extras you think are important, parents, students, teachers, whatever you think should be laid out not.

What I see right now is a normal city and people doing their normal lives, whatever that might be. And then something happens, do not know what yet, whether is some strange device created by the crazy Science Teacher in Sophomore Chemistry down in the basement of the school that created a machine that cause realities to shift making episodes parodies, or normal everyday events and we just parody pieces of things while maintaining our own plot and direction, or something else entirely. I am not sure how you want to do it. Parody parts of anime or do full on episodes of anime shows. We can work with either.

My hope is to have about 30-40 posts per chapter/episode, so gear posts towards being quicker pace story wise as well as having climax of action every 20-25 posts into the chapter roughly. Depending on how we set things up with the RP, will decide on how things are written out.

Character

• Name : Shizuka Hiraoka First Name means Quiet and Last Name means Flat Hill, Quiet is going to be a contradiction and well the Flat Hill is an innuendo.
• Age : 17
• Gender : Female
• Appearance : Bright Pink Hair down to the middle of the back, average height, flat chested, almost always found wearing the school uniform (wierd isn't it?)
• School Uniform : Usual Sailor outfit with mini skirt, red bow, white blouse with green mini skirt. Like what Kagome wears in a way. Guys get the usual black trousers and white button up shirts, unless you want to change that.
• Basic Personality : Very Talkative and Angers easily when commented about her flat chest.

Background will be left blank for everyone until we figure out the Genre style, after that we will figure out how all our characters relate to each other. My character will swing one of two ways, so it will decide how we approach it.

I'll sort out other side characters as things are more finalized. Though we will need to build a classroom of students even if we only name a few of them.
