Story

When Giygas was defeated, his essence became concentrated into a physical form, known as the Seed of Evil. Pokey, set for revenge, took the seed with him when he escaped, and spent a while trying to germinate it.

It's now a few years after the team of Ness, Paula, Jeff, and Poo struck down the evil entity known as Giygas (four years, if you need an exact number). Pokey has finally managed to produce a sprout out of the Seed of Evil. As a result of this sprout, the people are feeling the effects of Giygas (people turning blue and going crazy, animals and plants becoming very aggressive, monsters appearing, all that jazz). To top it all off, none of the original four heroes can be found. The influence of this sprout has been rapidly spreading, with Pokey and the Seed at the center of it all.



This is going to be far from a "serious" role-play. In keeping with the game, this RP should be full of corny jokes and bizarre situations (and trust me, I'll be making a LOT of corny jokes). You don't really need to have played the game to take part in this RP, I'll be using some of the things out of EarthBound, but I want this to be a fairly unique adventure. On a side note, there's no magic in here. You can have psychic powers, which work pretty much the same as magic in most cases (for example, you can use PSI Fire, PSI Freeze), but magic itself is a no-no.

CHARACTER CREATION

I want most of the development to be in the RP, thus, this is going to be brief, just the basics.

Name: (self-explanatory. All we'll need is a first name. You can put a second name up if you'd like, but it's not necessary.)
Age: (Self-explanatory)
Bio: (keep it somewhat brief. I want most of the character development to be in the RP itself. Just put a brief overview of your character's situation.)
Appearance: (Height, Hair, Eyes, clothes, distinguishing characteristics, all the usual stuff.)
Psychic Powers?: (Yes if your character's psychic, no if s/he's not.)
Fighting Style: (Don't list martial arts styles here, just how your character fights, e.g. Relies purely on physical attacks, mixes psychic powers with physical attacks, uses mainly throws, stuff like that.)

Bio: Attends a college in a small town.
Appearance: Slightly over 6 feet tall, black hair, dark brown eyes, wears blue jeans, black sneakers, a white T-shirt, and a blue and black coat. Somewhat skinny.
Psychic Powers?: Yes
Fighting style: Uses both physical and psychic attacks, but the emphasis is heavily on the physical.

Earthbound was always one of my favorite games. Maybe we can start getting some activity in this.

Bio: Mostly unknown, he tends to come and go like the wind.
Appearance: About 5'10", brown hair, blue eyes, medium build, black pants with a dark green shirt and a forest green cape. His eyes glow green when using psychic powers, and he has a small scar above his left eye.
Psychic Powers?: Yes
Fighting style: Generally psychic, but he is also adept with a yo-yo and can use other various items with moderate success.
