Two of my old friends, now in a rp together. Muahaha. I wish I had more time to get involved, but I've got a lot of recording projects to do for school otherwise I'd ask to join. Anyway, just saying Hi.

Family and Relationships: Annelise has few recollections of her mother or father. Jaric Carthallion, Laeylon Shinku, and Tucker Shinku were the people who raised her.

Physical Description: Annelise is lovely creature, a smile almost always gracing her lips. She has dark blue eyes flecked with silver, which are probably the largest thing about her. Her sweet, round face and cherubic lips lend sentiment to the fact that faes don’t age nearly as fast as humans. She has her light brown hair cut in a long bob, with face framing layers in the front. Being a creature of flight, she’s also quite thin and lithe. Her arms, legs, fingers and toes are willowy, and slightly longer than the norm. Her fae wings are shaped similar to a butterfly’s, and are a robin egg blue. The little one is normally dressed in baggy harem pants, sapphire in colored, and held up by a very bright orange piece of yarn. (It is after all, difficult to find clothes for someone of her stature.) Her white, scoop-neck, peasant blouses are also too large for her, as the hems usually hit around four inches above her knees, and the shirt is constantly slipping off of one shoulder or the other. However, that is a required nuisance. The blouses have to scoop low enough in the back to allow her wings freedom of movement, so the shoulder thing is just something that must be tolerated. Annelise just happens to be cheerful enough not to care. However, her oversized clothes make her look younger than she really is. She has two cartilage piercings in her left ear and one in the right, with silver studs on the left and a hoop in the other. She also has a similar set of hoops in the standard lobe piercings. It should be noted that Annelise is rarely seen wearing anything resembling footwear, and if she is, they are soft leather moccasins.

Personality: Annelise has a sunny and cheerful disposition. She’s generally difficult to anger (though if you manage it she’ll be in a right rage), and always sees things through rose-colored glasses. She’s very mischievous, and enjoys a good prank more than anything else. If something really weird just happened, nine times out of ten Annelise was the instigator. Even though she’s plays jokes on anyone who is around her more than a day, her delightfully bright disposition makes it difficult not to love her. Despite her years in Meridia, she still retains several childlike qualities. An important one is that she is able to trust in one cause implicitly. So she is very loyal. She’s also very passionate about anything she believes in, a very “all or nothing sort of girl”. Because she is young compared to most others in the war mentally, she sometimes feels insecure, despite her “go get ’em!” attitude. She covers up that weakness by making jokes and playing pranks, dodging questions, and not letting herself ever admit that that is what she is feeling. Other than that particularly weakness, she is decidedly terrified of the ground. It’ll send her straight into a panic attack. And why shouldn’t it? She could get squished before you could say, “Oops…”


Past: Fae are extremely magical creatures. They have the ability to harness many talents out of reach for humans. And with good reason- they need those abilities to hold their own in a very, VERY big world. Annelise was born to these rare creatures, and they did raise her through her earliest years. One very tragic day however, they were careless and became squished by a group of explorers wandering the woods. They realized their mistake too late, but they did discover a speck of a creature that missed its own death by a few centimeters. This creature was of course Annelise. They picked her up and took her with them. It was really the only decent thing to do after squishing her parents. She was placed in the care of the teenage children of the explorers. They were all three judged capable enough, though mischievous. It was the perfect opportunity to give them something to occupy themselves with. Tucker and Laeylon Shinku were the twins in this band of three. The two were the trouble twins, the prank brigade, and numerous other things. Conniving though they were, they had a little sister of about two years, which was about how old the fae was judged to be. (It should be noted that her age will be referred to throughout the past section in fae years.) Jaric Carthallion was, at fifteen, two years older than the Shinkus, and therefore drafted to keep them in line. So they assumed the role of raising Annelise in the wilds of Meridia. When they finally arrived home from there adventures, they simply continued as they had on the trip. The Shinkus lived very close to Jaric, so it wasn’t difficult. Annelise stayed mostly with the eldest, because only he and his father lived in their house, while there were 5 Shinku children total, the twins being the oldest. Very dangerous environment. Annelise grew slowly, and therefore spent many human years with the group of friends. At about five she discovered her ease of use at spell casting, particularly of the water variety. She had Jaric teach her how to read so that she could read up more spells and such. Years later she moved to tackle teleportation, one of the most difficult sorts of magic. To this day she has not mastered it. If she is nervous, upset, or scared, she can’t focus her energy well enough to relocate. Even if she can, she doesn’t go more than 500 feet away, and she must be able to imagine were she wants to go. So other than magic, her life was pretty hum dum for a while. She had many and adventure with Laeylon and Tucker (who saw magic as another tool that could be of use prank-wise), but hardly worth mentioning in her life’s history. She grew slowly, watching them all age much more quickly. When she was thirteen, she watched them die of famine, one by one. So she laid in wait, until she was technically old enough, and then enlisted in the military. Payback to those who ask for it. She has now been serving for one year.

Hobbies:

Weapon Note: Besides being able to cast many a water spell, Annelise uses a magical ice to create weapons, should she so choose, that are large enough to be of use. She controls them through telekinesis, which isn’t too hard considering the ice is so light. Magical ice is unbreakable (or meltable), which is an advantage. She general uses a hammer, but occasionally strays to the use of a kris. She’s of average talent on both, but nothing sensational. Easily beaten if her opponent is a pro. So she usually sticks to magic spells.

Hey guess what? I got an A for one of my final projects, so that means I'm back in the game and I'm going to post like crazy. I'm going to catch up for all the things I've been absent from, and as for le donkey? He's smoked!! So, if there's room here's a character:

Physical description: Soji has short blond hair and green eyes. This handsome, Swede looking person, wears a regal style long coat with various metals adorning the chest. Underneath he's got his elite soldier uniform and armor, with black military boots. (did I just discribe someone from old navy?? oh thery're all aliens anyway)

Personality: Soji doesn't talk much to anyone. He spends most of his time serving the crown and practicing his sabre technique

Past: Not much is known about this soldier. His file only states that he was originally not from this realm (see a pattern in my characters?). Regardless, he is now a servant of the crown, but not of his own choice. He was promised a way home eventually, but he must give his service to the king until said otherwise.

Other Information: By nature, Soji is almost neutral in all aspects, except for the fact he believes in order and law.
