The Lost Temple (Invite Only)

AVP's story kinda inspired me. But dont worry, no icky aliens in this RP.lol. This is an invite only RP.

The story is pretty simple. I expect the characters to just create more twists as we go along and make the story more interesting.

Overview:
The richest corporation in the world - Avalon - discovered a mysterious ancient structure that appeared in the outskirts of the city - well hidden inside the densed forest. Being the most influential entity in the world, everything was kept from the media. No one who entered the ancient structure ever came back -even communication devices have gone off. Avalon was hell bent on discovering what was inside - it could be a very important archaelogical find, a treasure beyond anyone's imagination or evil waiting to be unleashed. Whichever was it, Avalon will do anything to find out.

Calling for desperate measures, Avalon called on the most skilled people in the world to take on the task and if they can come out alive carrying a vital information or treasure - a reward of their choice will be given to them.

Characters:

archaelogist (Viper) - ample knowledge of ancient writings and history.

A skilled soldier (lolosky) - for survival.

A psychic (oceaneyes) - disappearance of the people may indicate some supernatural phenomenon inside.

A thief (psychosyd) - if there was indeed a treasure inside, they might be booby trapped - a thief's skill may be needed.

Daughter of Avalon's owner (Quistis) -supervisor of the team

Villain (ToroMor) - whoever is inside.lol

Voted as the world's most sought after bachelorette -because of her rich status and beauty. Amanda was given all the finest things in life. She was adventurous, smart, cunning and somewhat impulsive-there was nothing that can stop her from getting what she wanted. Bored in the life of luxury and spotlight, she asked her parents to make her supervise the mission of investigating the strange structure. Without her father's knowledge, she was planning to go with the team of experts she hired. Her hobbies include gun shooting and horseback riding. She also had some training with hand to hand combat.

Thanks for the invitation Quistis, let me see whom I'll pick....... As usual, I'll take the soldier, but I'll twist it a little from the common view we're used to

Background
A soldier, this word is described by many as either a warrior, a survivor, a murderer or even a hero; these titles would not suit over Leonardo perfectly, he was none of these; at least from his point of view, he was just an ordinary man, with an extreme intensive training and a good business cunning.
Leonardo, or Leon how he prefers to be called, was a former gang member, raised in the dangerous capital's uptown, he had experienced the trauma of killing early on his life, during his criminal years; but this cocky boy got himself into federal prison just before his reaching of age, thanks to an unsuccessful robbery in a military compound in the city limits. During his years in prison, Leon learned how to survive the hard way, everyday facing a possible death. He was recruited to the special forces just before his twenties, by an scout who was seeking for several low life scum that could be used in a “non winning” operation, but despite every chances and possibilities determined by the strategist, of the four men sent, Leon managed to complete the operation, and so forth gained his freedom and a position on the best cover ops team created by the state. He is a master shooter, expert in hand to hand combat, highly trained in surviving capabilities and a great risk analyst; but his greatest value is his great capacity to work under pressure in extreme situations, which made him stay alive in a profession where any mistake is paid with the life.
Now, veteran of two wars, Leon retired after ten years of military service and founded an agency of freelance bodyguards, mainly integrated by retired soldiers like himself. His agency has gained a name in this field after two years of working, and Leon is sure about his successful future as the head of this enterprise. Leon has become the perfect CEO of his own business. Attractive, charming and educated, this CEO enjoys the tastes of his new life, and has become a known face in the social environment of the high spheres, and he is gaining fame as consumated ladies man.
But few know about his skills , even less know about his complete past; yet he has received a request from his best clients, the Avalon Corporation, and they are asking him to take care of this matters personally.

I PMed 2 other people. Havent heard from them yet though. ^_^

By the way, if you feel like changing your field (e.g. if you dont like being a psychic but thought of a better alternative..like being a..er...a doctor..-that's a crappy example but u know what i mean.) feel free to do so. Besides, i'd rather that the players be comfortable with their roles.

Okay, I PMed ToroMor and told him that the villain suits him fine and he agreed. so he's officially the villain.

As of now, I'll be waiting for syd to post till tonight and for that other person to reply. Toro and Viper, feel free to post your bios. Hopefully we can start the RP soon. ^_^

Umm... I dont agree with Pre RP character profiling, it takes away from the sense of the story. what I will do is introduce my character here. The rest is to be revealed in the writing. Yeah... im rather old school like that. Im getting the sense this is a modern to future set story, so ill go accordingly when I write

Since I play the villain, I should rather post no bio. This would screw the story or at least prevent possible suspense. So if it's ok for you the evil villain will be (slowly) introduced in the running RP - or better discovered by the others. *makes mysterious face*

That makes sense, but i'll still be something good to add, I've been thinking of it, like a folder brief info to give as we're being hired by a company, it would be something as their files over us. I'm even thinking about retyping my bio.

yeah, that was my initial purpose for the need of a bio- I was thinking of mentioning stuff about the characters. But im almost done with my intro now and I can just leave it all up to you guys to introduce the background of your characters in your first RP post. It's kinda needed cos my character can have at least an overview of your characters' history cos that's how she got to contact you guys anyways. ^__^

edit - ToroMor's character is an exception of course.

And psychic works, I can totally handle that. But something just came up, and I have to get going so I'll edit in a character bio when I get back. But I wanted to acknowledge that I got the invite and claim my spot.

Clothes: Well-fitting black pants, blue tennis shoes, and a white long-sleaved collared shirt that's too big for her. She keeps it untucked. If it's cold, she'll wear a comfortable brown jacket. She carries a black messenger bag with her.

Background: How mysterious can a psychic be when you know everything about her? She's young, but she took seven years of defensive martial arts, and she can pack quite the telepathic punch. She's quiet, but her voice is very pleasant for the ears. She's a pretty girl with shell pink lips and delicate features. She was in college looking for an internship, and she ended up here.
