Fianl Fantasy VII: The Sephiroth Story.

*It has been 5 year sense Sephiroth Join Soldier. It has only been 4 years for me. I know this because I am Sephiroth's best friend. But for some reason he never told me were he was from, or who his parnets were. But I also never asked. I am one of the top ranking Soldiers now. I see Sephiroth every now in then in the changing rooms. But he doesn't talk as much.*

*Locker Slaming* *Plus I don't really care what he does anymore. He just left without saying a word. But now he is the almight Soldier. So I guess he got what he wanted. But I will still help him with anything he needs. The reason why I would, is because I am a friend. A true friend.*

*Foot Steps* *Speak of the devil... How is it going Sephiroth.* Sephiroth:......
*Still not going to talk to me. Well have it your way.* Ulteka then walks out of the locker room in his army uniform.

Sephiroth: You will understand why I am being so quit. You willbe by my side when it all happends. *Locker Closing*

Sargent Max's: Ok you magots... You are going to be going on a mission in Kalm. Thier has been spotting of Dragons, and Bahemoths. Your objective is to get everyone out of the City. If you have to kill the mosters, than do it. But the main objective is to get everyone out of the city.

Your are going to be following orders from Head Commander Sephiroth, and Commander Ulteka. You give them respect. They are the most elite in Soldier. All you newbies... You better whatch your ass out there. This is the real thing. It isn't a game.

Now you will have airships and that will be able to take everyone out of the City of Kalm. So good luck troops. Now move out.

*In the airship*

Middle Class Soldier: Man a can't wait to kill some Soldiers.

Sephiroth: Yes you can... Have you ever been face to face with a Dragon, or a Bahemoth? I didn't think so. They probly haven't eaten in mouths. They can't wait for some big headed thinker like you to get in their way.

Ulteka: I hate to say it... But he is right. But just stay with me and Sephiroth. You will be okay.

Sephiroth: So we finally get to fight side by side again. Just like when we were teenagers.

Ulteka: Yeah I have been waiting for this day for along time. You know I would die for you right.

Sephiroth: Hmmm.... Yeah I know. Just don't be thinking like that. We are almost there. get ready..

It had been five years... Five long years since he left to join the army and became the greatest of them all. Sephiroth... He was the only man that could make Adoris wait for so long.

She stared out the window at the snow falling so freely to the frozen cold ground. Yes, even the snow was free, but she wasn't. She hadn't been since the day she met Sephiroth when he was but a boy of eleven. When his eyes had met hers, she instantly became his prisoner and would be shackled to him until the day she died. Of course, she would have it no other way. She would follow him to the ends of the earth if he merely asked it of her.

But he hadn't. When they were teens, he had wanted her to fight beside him. She had done so until they day he left for the army. Now, she sat in the inn at the window, flipping yet again through her scrapbook of newspaper clippings about him. "Sephiroth," she whispered, "where are you now? How are you doing? When will you call on me again?"

Adoris flicked her wrist, making a blade slide gracefully yet quickly from her glove. Gazing at her enchanting blue eyes through the reflection on the blade, she longed to use the weapon at Sephiroth's side again. She had spent the past several years honing her skills to be of better use to him.

Yet, he did not call.

Finally, she rose from the chair, moved to the desk, and pulled out a notebook and pencil.

"Sephiroth," she wrote, "I'm still waiting for you here in Icicle Inn, just as I have been the past 5 years.

"How are you? Are you well? I read about another of your great battles. Each article inspires me to train harder so that I can one day fight by your side again. Rest assured that I am not letting my skills slip away from me.

"Please, call on me anytime you need me.

"Your friend,

"Adoris Fallhart."

Closing the letter in an envelope, she wrote Sephiroth's army address on it and took it downstairs to be mailed. How long would it be before he received it? Would he respond? She had no way of knowing.

Adoris slipped on her coat and headed outside to fight more monsters for her daily training.

As the airship's landed, Ulteka and Sephiroth jumped out. Along with about 400 Soldiers. Soldiers were signaling for others to move in groups, and find the people of Kalm. Sephiroth ran ahead. Ulteka was right behind him. As Ulteka was running, a gaint Bahemoth jumped in frount of him. The Bahemoth tried to claw Ulteka in the face, but he swiftly hit a summersalt, and than ran forward with his sword.

Ulteka slamed the sword into the Bahemoths throat, with all of his wait behind him. He then pulled it out, and the best died. He kept running.

*Sephiroth!!!! We have to get everyone out of here!!!! Now!!!!!!*

The load blast of flames, and screams, make Ulteka yelll to in order for anybody to here him. Ulteka, and an about 12 Soldiers gather up all of the living they could. Then other got more. Ulteka watches a Sephiroths slays the beast with no problem.

*Sephiroth!!!! We got to go!!!!!*

Ulteke, and the rest of Soldiers put all of the people in the airships.

*Sephiroth!!!!!!! lets go!!!!!!*

Sephiroth then started to run back to the airships. As he did a Dragon came down on top of him. Then a glow came out from under the dragon, blowing it to pieces.

Sephiroth then jumped into the airship.. *Ok lets go back to Midgare.... We have to get these people help...*

They then heade to Midgare...

"Sephiroth," He read in a rather poor impression of a young girls voice "I'm still waiting for you here in Icicle Inn, just as I have been the past 5 years.

"How cute...should we junk this one with the rest of them boss?"

He who speaks is a crimson haired youth. His blue suit is ruffled, wrinkled...hardly what one thinks of when one considers the phrase 'well dressed'. Yet on this young man, it seems more than fitting. The man who he addresses is hunched over his work, as he normally is, in the 68th floor of the fairly new Shin-Ra electric company building. They'd only recently stopped being a weapons development company, yet even so, the need for a Science Department had not departed with the old image. Indeed much of what Shin-Ra was continued on, beneath the surface as political tensions continued to grow.

"Er...hello, you listen to me pops?"

The man is dressed only in a lab coat, his eyes move feverishly over flickering screens from behind glasses glazed with light.

"Would you please be silent...classification and disposal of war time corrispondance is the job of the Turks...not of my department."

The youth seems fazed for only a moment, and then shrugs.

"I figured you'd be interested in knowning your prized specimen has a little girl friend up in the snow. But whatever, this isn't really what I'm here for anyways. Tseng wants an update on the progress of that new weapon of yours."

There is no pause in the lightning fast movements of the scientist over the controls, nor does his demenor overly change. Yet a sense of shift pervaids the atmosphere as he next speaks.

"He will get it in writing as he does all my reports. The project would move more swiflty if it weren't for these constant interuptions. Tell me, is there a purpose to your prying?"

Eyes smiling behind crimson locks, the youth simpley shrugs.

"No idea old man, I'm just the messenger. But I see your busy, I guess i'll catch you later."

Hojo gives a dericive snort as the young man leaves. Such interuptions were becoming mroe and more common place. There was more respect for his position when it was possessed by Gast. Gast...it didn't seem a day could go by that he wasn't reminded of that short sited incompetent. Yet always...always he was treated with more respect and regard than himself, even now that he was nothing more than a memory. ESPECIALLY now.

...Hojo turns back to the controls, fingers wirrign as he watches the monitors. Iccicle Inn...that was where the letter had been from. Yes...he'd checked out that girl personaly some years ago, and had come across an unexpected treasure trove of knowledge. Oh that had been a FINE day...a WONDERFUL day! Yes...it had indeed...

The eyes behind the thick glasses almost glow as Hojo allows a wry smile to split his face. He reads over the data of a mother and toddler child. It would take decades, perhaps centuries to analyze all the data...but it would be accomplished in time. Yes...all good things come to those who wait...

As she slaughtered yet another monster, Adoris muttered to herself, "It's time to go back." The cold was beginning to bite into her bones, and she had long since lost feeling in her face and apendages.

She crunched through the snow, turning that under her feet to slosh. All around her there was nothing but the pure white snow climbing up mountains and laying low in the valleys. She loved it. Simply loved it. There was nothing more beautiful than the purity of snow.

As she entered Icicle Inn, she asked the clerk for what seemed to be the thousandth time, "Any mail?"

"None," he replied as he always did.

"I suppose not," she said as she ascended the stairs. "No, I suppose Sephiroth isn't one to write. Perhaps he's just...busy with the army with being the best." She didn't dare speak what was on her mind, lest it be true. 'He can't have forgotten me,' the young woman thought to herself. 'No, not after the battles we faught as children and teens.'

She removed her coat and walked over to the window to gaze at the kids outside playing with their snowboards. "How much longer must I wait?" she asked no one in particular. When the silence failed to answer her, she replied, "Well, if you won't call me...perhaps I should come to you."

As the Airships landed at Midgar, all of the troops got out of the airships. There were strechers for all the woonded people. Ulteka then jumped out of the Airship. He look back at Sephiroth. *Are you coming are what?*

Sephiroth made a gaze at Ulteka, and grin. Sephiroth: I am coming... Go on ahead with me.

Ulteka nooded here head, and then walked off toward the 7th Heaven. *I think I am going to have a nice beer.*

As Ulteka walked toward 7th Heaven Reno who was part of the turks stoped him. *What do you want?* Reno: Ooo nothing... I was just wondering if you knew anything about Sephiroth having a so cald Childhood girlfriend. *If this girlfriend is Adoris Fallhart, than she is my friend.*

Reno: Well ok.... I am just asking, You never know what Hojo will do if anything gets in the way od Sephiroth staying the best Soldier of all time.

As reno walked away, Ulteka ran toward one of the airshps. He passed Sephiroth on the way. Sephiroth: Were are you rushing off so fast to? *Nowere inportant.. I will talk to you later.*

Ulteka got to the airships, and he jumped into one that had nobody in it. He turned on the thrusters, and took of toward Icicle Inn.

Adoris' eyes fluttered open when she heard a loud knocking at her door. At first, she thought she had just imagined it, but it came again. "Alright, I'm coming," she moaned, getting out of her comfortable, warm bed and slipping back into her clothes. As she opened the door, a man with long black hair and red eyes stepped into the room. "Ulteka?" she asked, unable to believe her eyes.

"Adoris," he said, turning to face her, "do you know a man named Hojo?"

Her eyebrows furrowed as she stared at his urgent face. "It's been five years since you've seen me, and the best greeting you can come up with is, 'Do you know a man named Hojo?'" Sighing, she walked over to her desk and sat down. "His name has been thrown around a few times. I think he came up here a few years back and did some sort of investigation. Once I found out he wasn't Sephiroth, I lost interest."

He should've known. Adoris had always only had eyes for Sephiroth. She was the epitome of complete and utter devotion, yet he hadn't heard from her in years. "So, you never met Hojo?"

Shrugging, she said, "Not that I recall. Tourists come in and out all the time, though. One of them could've been the man to whom you refer. Why all this business about him, anyway?"

"He's the top scientist at ShinRa," Ulteka explained as he began pacing the room. "Have you been writing us? Me and Sephiroth, that is."

She nodded with an of-course-I-have look on her face and said, "Yet neither of you ever found the time to write back."

"Because we never received your letters," he sighed, sitting on her bed. "Reno said-"

"Who's Reno?" she demanded, anger pulsing through her veins as she thought of all her letters being thrown in the trash, never to be seen by her friends.

Ulteka waved his hand to show he was no one important but clarified, "A turk. Special ops sort of thing. Anyway, he said something about you. Mentioned a childhood girlfriend of Sephiroth."

Adoris sighed with an air of annoyance and leaned back in her chair, crossing her arms. Had Sephiroth ever considered her in a romantic way? She hadn't thought so. She was merely a good friend, trying her best to be of use to him anyway possible. It probably seemed odd to "normal people" that she was so willing to live her life for a man she wasn't romantically involved with, but "normal people" didn't become friends with Sephiroth. Anyone who looked into his eyes, spoke with him, came in contact with him would understand. He was...extraordinary. "Is there a point here?" she asked.

Ulteka rested his elbow on the headboard and continued, "He also mentioned something about you possibly getting in the way of Sephiroth being the best SOLDIER, and that Hojo would not be very happy about that."

"No one could get in the way of Sephiroth being the best!" Adoris quickly countered, rising to her feet.

"Well, you don't have to convince me!" he defended, holding up his hands. "Look, all I know is that Hojo's got some stuff going on. When SOLDIERS go in to see him, they come out...different."

She narrowed her eyes and said, "How so?"

Shrugging, he sighed, "Can't explain it. You'd have to see it to understand. It's like they're a different person. I came here to warn you."

Adoris stared at him for a moment before asking, "Warn me to stay away?"

"Not exactly," he smirked. "Warn you not to get caught by Hojo if he decides you're a threat."

She grinned and rolled her eyes. "You know me." A short silence passed before she got the nerve to ask, "So, how is...Sephiroth?"

Ulteka told her about how he had advanced in his skills, become more than what they had imagined as kids, and various events that had taken place. As he finished the tale about the Behemoth, Adoris calmly commanded, "Take me with you."

"What?"

"Take me with you. Take me to Sephiroth."

Ulteka stared at her determined face and sighed as he considered his answer.

Ulteka saw the look in Adoris's blue eye's. *I guess you could go with me. What would be the harm in that. Just let me tell you something. Don't be surprised if Sephiroth isn't his same old self.

Ulteka then walked out toward the airship.. He looked back in through the doorway, and signaled for Adoris to come on.

Adoris stared for a moment longer. 'Why?' she thought. 'Why would Sephiroth change? What...what's so...different about him?' Now, she was almost afraid to see him. She was afraid of what he might have become.

"Are you coming or what?" Ulteka asked.

Adoris shook her head and snapped out of her trance. "Sorry, I'm coming." With that, she grabbed her bag and coat and followed him onto the airship. "Does Sephiroth...still remember me?" she wondered aloud. "Does he still...want me to fight with him?"

As Ulteka, and Adoris got on the ship, Ulteka looked back at Adoris. *I think he still remembers you.*

Ulteka then walked down and grabed Adorises bags, and put them in the control room. *This is were you will be sitting..* As Ulteka showed Adoris the Chair, he gave her a hug before she could sit down.

*It is good to see you again. Now lets go and see Sephiroth*

Ulteka then turn the thrusters on. The flames melted the snow, and ice. He then took off at an anormuse speed. *And we are off to Midgar.*

Ulteka looked over at Adoris. *Is thier anything you want ot talk about untile we get thier.. It is going to be about 45 min..*

Adoris's mouth dropped with shock. "E-everything!" she managed to gasp out. "But first," she said, "I want to talk about the reason you came to see me."

She looked to Ulteka and sighed. "It's been years, and no one's bothered to contact me. It was like communications were broken off the instant you two joined SOLDIER. Now, all of a sudden, you're at my door? Tell me... Why? I mean...you said something earlier, but I don't...really understand. It's all a bit much for me at the moment."

Outside, the skirts of white slowly melted into fields of green, glowing brightly in the afternoon sun. In the distance was the ocean, splashing orange waves against the blue enigma. Everything was...beautiful.

"So..." she sighed, "do explain."

Ulteka leaned his down. *The reason why I came to see you was....Was because I care about you... I didn't want Hojo to hurt you.*

Ulteka then looked over back at Adoris... *And its not that we didn't want to talk to you.. We are just trying to make the world a safer place. Me Sephiroth are the only two really trying.. Everyone else is just doing it for power. Now I think Sephiroth is starting to do it for the same reason. Power!!!

Ulteka then garps the wheel.. *And like I said.. I will follow Sephiroth into hell. But only in one condishen... If he kills any Wemon or Children, then I will kill him...*

Ulteka looked back over at Adoris.. *We are almost there... So get ready...*
