Quistis walked down the 2nd floor hallway of Balamb Garden, her boots stomping on the floor, echoing down the hall. She carried a clipboard in her hand, detailing the Janus Army's next mission. Ever since Rinoa had started the Rinoan Army, Quistis had been in charge of running Balamb Garden and leading the Janus Army. Because of the increase in battles, Quistis had to leave the Garden in Xu's hands. Now, though, she and the Janus Army commander, Seifer, had decided to take out the Deep Sea Research Facility, where Quistis herself had almost lost her life. Quistis paused and touched the scar on her face. She had received it from an explosion in a battle with the Rinoan Army near the Deep Sea Research Facility. Quistis couldn't believe what had happened to Rinoa. Killing Squall, creating an army, trying to destroy the world...And why does she want to? Quistis couldn't understand any of it. And with the increase of losses by the Janus Army, she had no time to ponder about it. Kiros, the leader of the Timber/Janus Army, had himself been lost. Quistis sighed as she slid her security card down the control panel of the Planning Room. She walked into the circular room A large table with many chairs around was in the middle of the room. A computer screen was at the head of the table. Seifer, Xu, and several other generals and SeeDs in the army sat around the table. She placed a sheet detailing the operation in front of the all before sitting near the computer screen.

"All right, everyone. This is our next mission." On her computer she opened up a map of the Deep Sea Research Facility. It appeared on the large screen.

"Me and Seifer have decided to take out the Deep Sea Research Facility. Seifer, explain." She looked at Seifer. He nodded back.

"Yep, we are gonna take out that damn base. The Rinoan Army is using it as a naval base. They keep most of their top-notch ships here, ya know. Plus, they are using it as a facility to research and develop new technology. Our spies even heard of them developing a new GF. Ya hear that? A new damn GF! Quistis will go over the plan." Quistis nodded and zoomed in on the map.

"All right, I will lead the fleet, on Leonheart, to about 5 miles away from the base. We will leave from Balamb. Then we will contact the Air Fleet, led by Zell aboard the Ragnarok, to deal an air strike on the base. After that the naval fleet will move in. The Leonheart, Griever, and Angelo ships will move in and land on the base. The rest of the fleet will stay back and provide back up. Nida and the SeeDs will come with me and my squad and go to the heart of the facility." Nida nodded to her.

"From then on," Nida started. "Me and the SeeDs will head to the core and set a bomb. It will have a 8:00 timer, so we need to get out before it runs out."

"Yes," Quistis started again. "My squad will head for the labs to look for the "GF" and capture it. Also, a top Rinoan General, Rasput, is on board. We need to take him out, too. After that, we get out of the building and head back for Balamb. Any questions." She paused.

"We leave tomorrow at 1800 hours. Get ready."

I was working out in the weight room to get ready for upcoming missions.I didn't know the next one would be so soon.*ding ding ding* the loud speaker came on.

speaker: Will the following SeeDs report to the planning room Joe Falcon,Carie Kinwas,and Chris Qyra please report to the planing room.

I saw Chris sitting alone in on the stool near the Liberay.

Joe: Chris isn't that werid we never been in the planning room before.

Chris's eyes looked up at me he had no signs of any emotion

Chris: Yea lets go

It was a silent walk up to the elevator Carie was standing their with her arms crossed leaning on the wall near the elevator.I was waiting for you guys lets go the three of us went inside the elevator and went to the second floor.Were a Guide meet us.

Guide:You three come with me

we followed him into the room Quists and Seifer stood their with other SeeD's
they all stared at us as we stood motionless in front of them.Ready to hear our mission.....

Quistis stared angrily at the 3 SeeDs.

"You three, are late!" she muttered. "I made the announcement 30 minutes ago. We have already briefed the mission!" Quistis flushed red.

"Sorry, Miss Quistis..." Chris said. He looked embarassed.
"Yea, whatever," Carrie said under her breath. Joe didn't say anything.

"Dammit," Quistis muttered. "All right, you'll get briefed on your way. Well, you are going to the Deep Sea Research Facility. Joe, you'll be taking the Griever with Carrie. Chris, you'll be on the Ragnarok with Zell. Do you understand?" The three nodded. "You leave in 12 hours. Prepare. Dismissed." The three nodded and left. Quistis turned back to the rest.
"They are the best we have..."

12 hours later I got my SeeD uniform on my polished Gunblade by my side.Iwalked to the Main Hall.Carrie was ready for anything she looked like if anyone was to sneek up on her she would most likely snap their neck.

Joe: Hey Carrie
Carrie: Hello Joe
Joe: ready for the mission
Carrie: I just can't wait to crush Riona's skull in.

Then from behind me came Ryan Benson I turned around to look at up at him. The 7'4 SeeD seemed calm.

Ryan: Hey Joe sup Carrie

Joe: hello Ryan are you coming with us

Ryan: I'll be in one of the airships Chris will be their right

Joe: Yes

Carrie: Lets go Joe we will see you around Ryan

Ryan: bye guys

Me and Carrie walked to the Greiver ship to my superize the Caption was Dave Dit.

Dave: Joe you here

Joe: Yep Quistis put me here so we are heading right into the Deep Sea Research Facility

Dave: Yep and who is this pretty lady

Joe: Dave meet Carrie

Dave: Hey sweet heart

Carrie: * rolls eyes back and she walks away.

Dave: Slient type huh thats the way uh huh uh huh I like it.

Joe: I would not Reccomend doing that to her she will like hurt you.

Dave: Relax Joe

About 30 SeeD were in the boat they all seemed to be to be ready for action the Boats engine roared then We were off to the Deep Sea Research Facility

Seifer was leading his army on land, near the deep sea research facility which was right on the end of a peninsula when he had a sudden thought. He radioed to Quistis. "Quistis! Rasput is on board, right?" he asked.

"Yes, Seifer, why?" she asked over the radio.

"I got a score to settle with that bastard!" He yelled as he ran his hand over his most recent scar.

"Don't get too carrierd away, Seifer. This is a serious mission." Quistis replied.

"Don't worry...it'll be cake for the Janus troops and I! Over!" he exclaimed as he lay down the radio. "Troops!" Seifer yelled. All of the Janus army stood to face him.

"Today...we're taking the Deep Sea research facility! Balamb SeeD's are already on the way for a full scale attack. When the SeeD's arrive, we'll have eight minutes to take and destroy the facility. When those eight minutes are up, the facility will explode with everyone and everything in it. You better set your internal timers and get the hell outta there before the eight minutes is up. First we will hold off the Rinoan army until the SeeD's arrive. Then, we'll divide up to squads, Squad Loire, Squad Ellone and Squad Edea. Squad Loire will be under my command and will follow the SeeD's into the facility to make sure they plant the bomb safely. After that, We'll comeback up from the facility and give the order to get the hell out. The retreating part should take no more than two minutes and planting the bomb should take five minutes so we'll need to be fast and stick with the time. Everyone got that?!" Seifer yelled.

"SIR YES SIR!" the large crowd of troops shouted back in reply.

"LET'S GO!" Seifer yelled. Seifer led the troops to the facility where the attack is to be held. The Janus army stormed the Deep Sea Research Facility and at that moment when the Janus Army stormed the gates, all hell broke loose. Guns firing, swords clanking together, cries of pain and anger. Seifer and the rest of Squad Loire charged for the entrance of the facility which was heavily gaurded. Amongst the Rinoan troops at the entrance was General Rasput.

"Ah, Seifer! How's that scar I gave you?!" Rasput said as he lunged at Seifer quickly, sword drawn, pointed at his heart to deliver a killing blow. Seifer quickly spun out of the way and lifted his hand up and casted Firaga on Rasput. The rest of his squad was taking on the rest of the guards and formed a circle around Rasput and Seifer to keep anyone else from making the odds uneven. Seifer and Rasput were hacking and slashing at eachother, occasionaly cutting eachother or forcing one another off balance. "Aw Seify boy improved!" Rasput cackled as he jumped up in the air, sword held in the air ready to slice Seifer in two.

"Ah, Rasput, my friend! Still a friggin' moron!" Seifer yelled as he casted fire on Rasput and darted behind him. Rasput shrieked as his face was burning. He began rolling on the floor screaming "Stop drop roll!" and repeating it over and over. "Dammit Rasput, quit whining..." Seifer said as he drove his gunblade through the gut of Rasput. Rasput had suddenly gone limp. "That oughtta shut him up..." he said as he helped the rest of his squad out with the remaining entrance guards. Slowly but surely, they finished them off and stood at the entrance of the facility, awaiting the SeeD's arrival. No Rinoan soldier came near the entrance to the facility for they were too busy with the rest of the Janus army.

In the distance, off of the peninsula, Seifer spotted the SeeD's naval fleet. Excitedly, Seifer yelled "Woohoo!". He now awaited their landing and the end of the Deep Sea research facility.

Quistis walked down the steps of the Garden. She had her hair down. She was wearing green Kevlar body armor, which showed off her midriff, and she wore a tight, leather skirt. She had her whip straped to her side. She walked to the entrance, where all the soldiers waited. Joe, Carrie, Ryan, Chris and Dave all stood at the front, along with the rest of the top notch SeeDs.

"Were you three briefed?" she asked sharply as she reached the group.
"Yes Miss Trepe," Chris said, standing upright.
"Good, this mission is important." Quistis stated. "Commander Seifer is coming." The 5 looked at each other, stunned. Seifer never comes on missions, except the big ones.
"Really?" Joe asked. "He never comes..."
"Yes, Commander Seifer will be waiting for us at the facility." Quistis replied.

"All right," Quistis yelled. The soldiers stopped talking and stood at attention. "It is time, are you all ready?" The group shouted.
"Good, this mission is the biggest one yet. Now, I will go over the mission and squads one more time; we are heading to the Deep Sea Research Facility. It will take approximately 5 hours to reach the facility. The Leonheart, Angelo, and Griever will land on the island after the Air Squad destroys the bases defenses. Group A, all soldiers and SeeDs will go with Nida to the core to set the bomb. Group B, my group, will head for the labs to find the GF. This will all have to be done in 8 minutes. Do you understand?" The group shouted again. "All right, get in your cars, we are heading for Balamb."

(After Joe and Angel post) 5 hours later
Quistis stood on board the Leonheart, in the control room. They were in position. She picked up the communicator.

"Ragnarok. Do you respond? Marlboro, I repeat, Marlboro." The captain of the Leonheart walked in.
"The troops are ready, Commander Trepe." The captain reported. "Ready for Operation Fish." Quistis nodded. From outside, the Air Strike had begun.
Quistis then picked up the radio again.
"Seifer, head for cover, the air strike has begun."

Seifer ordered Squads Edea and Ellone to evacuate and head for cover. He told them to go back to where the Janus army was based and to await further orders. All the troops in those squads obeyed as Seifer's team entered the facility and used that as their cover. To provide a clean entrance for the SeeD's, Seifer and his squad fought with the Rinoan Soldiers within the facility. The facility was in an enclosed space so it was quite hard to manuever with a gunblade. Seifer was shot in his left arm right at the shoulder. He fell to the ground and cursed.

The Rinoan soldier that had shot him stood over Seifer and said "You punk..." and aimed the gun at Seifer's head, ready to finish him off. Seifer smirked and lifted his gunblade with his right hand and drove it through the neck of his would-be killer. To Seifer's surprise, electrical sparks came out of the soldiers neck. "TERMINATED" the soldier said in a robotic voice. "They're using god damn robots now?!" Seifer yelled. He cursed and kicked the downed robot. He ripped the left sleeve of his coat off and wrapped it around his shoulder, tieing it so that it'd stop the blood flow. Seifer was very angry and ordered that six members of his squad shall each take one prisoner for interrogation while the others were ordered to kill every Rinoan soldier in sight. As soon as the portion of the facility that Seifer's squad was in, Seifer peered out the door of the facility and saw that the Ragnarok was flying high, shooting and bombing the Rinoan army outside of the facility along with other air crafts. He eagerly awaited the SeeD's landing now. All he wanted to do was to get this bomb planted, blow this place to hell and question their prisoners.

Quistis ran out onto the deck, as the Ragnarok and the rest of the fleet bombarded the base. She looked at the troops around her. Most were standing ready. Two soliders were making out in a corner. A young man was leaning over the edge, puking. To the right, a missile from the facility hit the Ultima, her flagship.
"Shit!" Quistis muttered. The Ultima sank into the sea, troops falling into the water, material and blood flying into the water.
"Get some damn lifeboats over there!!!" Quistis yelled to a SeeD general. He nodded and ran to the stern. An airship was shot down and crashed into a ship to her rear. Quistis sighed.
"We can't get wiped out before we get there," she muttered to herself. They were about 1/2 a mile away from the base.

"Get ready!!!" the captain yelled. A missile landed right in front of the Leonheart. Water sprayed all over the bow, including Quistis. She shook her head.
"Look out!!!" she yelled as another missile landed near the boat. Another airship went down.
She ran to the control room. The captain looked worried.
"Damage report." Quistis ordered.
"Water in the engine," the captain replied.
"Get on it!!" Quistis shouted. She left the control room, back to the bow. A troop lay on the ground, covered in blood.
"We need a medic, stat!" she yelled, as a young girl with a medical bag ran up to the man.
"It'll be okay," the girl consoled the man, as she examined his wounds. She looked over to Quistis and shook her head. Quistis nodded. The girl gave the man a cyadine pill, and the man died a few moments later. The girl ran up to Quistis.
"This is terrible..." she muttered, almost at tears. Quistis nodded.
"This is a war," she said. "We can't have anymore casualties, we are almost there." The girl saluted and ran to the stern, where a man was stuck under a metal plate.
Quistis looked through her binoculars. Seifer had evacuated. They were ready. The Leonheart was just about at shore.
"All right, everybody, we are about there," Quistis shouted. "Ready your weapons and don't get lost!"

The ship flew wildly threw the clouds.

Ryan:Hang on

Chris: Quistis why did you have me co fly this thing and not Dave.

Ryan ran to the gunner a new Feture in the ship. Behind them came ships they were jet shaped Ryan shot at them rapitly.

Ryan: DIE Rionan scum

Crew men: We have missles on rader coming this way.

A SeeD ran to the elevator in the ship went down by the docking hatch and took out a grenade. He ran back up to the cockpit.

SeeD: This may help

Ryan: how?

SeeD: watch

the SeeD emptyed out the powder into the gas where the engine gets its fuel. The ship was twice as fast.

Chris: Nice work

then an explotion hit the bottom of the Ship causeing the SeeD to go flying into the wall he broke his neck and died.

Ryan: NO

Chris: Dammit

The ship got closer to the Resurch center.

Crew men: The tower is up ahead they will be jammed if we hit it.

They shot to huge rockets destorying the tower

Ryan: Bullseye

Chris:what tha

He saw all the rinoan troops fall to the ground.

Ryan: Robots figures

Comlink: Quistis send the SeeD's in now hurry.

(Joe,Carrie)

Joe: we are here

Carrie: Lets move out

SeeD's(30):AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Joe: their all dead

the ground rumbled as 3 Mechs appered.

Carrie: Attack

The SeeD's rushed into battle these huge mechs appered they were 30 feet tall robots.

Joe: Pull back

Carrie: everyone ran for it back to the boats

Me and Carrie made a run for it as the other SeeD's went back to the boats the Mechs were firing at us it was a mircle we got inside unharmed.We saw a wounded Sefier.

Joe: Sir

Carrie: Sir

Sefier: At ease

Joe: Sir Give me the bomb I'll send this place sky high

Sefier: No me and you Carrie guide these SeeD to safety lets go.

Carrie: Yes sir be carful

Joe: Lets do this

Quistis and her troops stormed the beach. It was a massive battle. Rinoan soldiers and robots were many in number. Quistis and her squad managed to fight their way up the beach towards the entrance. Many dead and bloody bodies scattered the beach. Up ahead, three giant robo mechs stood near the entrance. She could see some of Seifer's sqaud ahead, fighting the robots.
"All right, you two, distract those mechs," Quistis told her two captains. They nodded and ordered their troops to attack the robots. She saw the mechs fire twin machine guns that tore the SeeDs apart in a bloody mess. One of her captains was hit with a missile and exploded in a mess of blood and guts.
"****" Quistis muttered as she ran towards the entrance. Just as she reached the door, one of the mechs blocked her way. It knocked her against the wall. Quistis sat on the ground, dazed. She looked up and moved just in time to dodge a punch from the mech. She ran to the left of the mech and wrapped her whip around the mechs legs. The mech slowly turned around and was about to swat her away before Quistis used Thunder, which traveled down her metal whip, into the circuits of the robot. She ran for cover, into the building, as the robot exploded, taking a chunk of stone out of the building. She turned around and yelled to her remaining captain.
"Use electrical attacks!!!" she yelled. The captain nodded and told the SeeDs. As she walked into the lobby of the building, stepping over Rinoan bodies, Seifer spoke.
"Ready, Quisty?" he asked, rubbing his wound. Quistis looked at Carrie and Joe and nodded.
"Let's go!" she said as she ran down the corridor. In the distance, she heard an explosion. Quistis smiled. A Rinoan soldier lay in a puddle of blood on the ground, near a crossways. A sign pointed towards Research Lab (right) and another to Control Room/Maintenance (left). The soldier held a card for the control room. Seifer snatched it up.
"All right, c'mon you two!" Seifer said to Joe and Carrie. They nodded and followed Seifer. "Bomb-time!" Seifer yelled, as he ran down the left corridor, followed by Joe and Carrie. Quistis ran down the right corridor, to the labs. She heard a crash as Rinoan troops reentered the building. Quistis hoped that her squad was okay.

Seifer took something out of coat pocket and strapped it to the wall of the entrance. Seifer then ran ahead of Quistis, madly hacking and slashing at the mech's, cutting them down where they stood. One mech caught Seifer off guard and wacked him in the face. Seifer quickly got up and sliced the mech into several pieces. "C'mon Quisty! Gotta be quicker!" He yelled back to her as he ran further ahead. Seifer came to a sudden halt. Amazed by what he saw. They were now in the core. The core was a huge laboratory. In the middle of the lab, there were what seemed to be scientists operating on something. Seifer ran to the middle and cut down the scientists. Seifer fell to his knees because of his wound. It was definitely hurting. He tightened the wrap around his wound and pressed on. Looking at what was on the lab table which the scientists were opperating on. It was a GF. Seifer studied it more closely and read the memo that was on the end of the table. He read aloud...

"Project Leonhart
DNA composed of Squall Leonhart and Griever to create the ultimate guardian force. Due to Squall's death, limited cells could be used to create this specimen. Griever, however, rests in the hands of Sorceress Rinoa. This new force has the power to destroy continents in one blow even with the limited cells of Squall."

"Those...those bastards...." Seifer said as he wiped the blood off his face. He quickly snatched the gf and handed it to Quistis. "Plant the bombs and lets get the hell out of here.." Seifer said as he folded the note and put it in his pocket.

"Sonofabitch!!!" Quistis yelled as she looked at the GF. "I can't believe these bastards did this!!!" She fumed with anger. Seifer looked nervous.
"We need to get out of here!!!" Seifer told her. "Joe has probably got the bomb ready," Seifer grabbed Quistis' arm, and pulled her away from the lab, stepping over the scientist's bodies. They ran down the hall, jumping over dead bodies and destroyed robots. Up ahead, Carrie stood near Joe, who was unconcious. Seifer ran up to Joe.
"What the hell happened!?" Seifer asked wildly. Carrie tried to talk but was drowned out by the alarm sounding a 3 minute warning.
"C'mon, we need to get out of here!!!" Quistis told the two. Seifer nodded and picked up Joe. They ran out of the building, running past the group of soldiers in the lobby. Seifer was in the rear, running slow, because of his wounds and Joe. A soldier managed to cut Seifer across the arm. Quistis used Quake on the lobby as she helped Seifer and Joe out of the building. With the GF in hand, Quistis and co. ran down the beach, where the rest of her squad (Thank God, we're still alive) to the ships. An explosion blew through the building as Quistis and the others ran up the ramp into the ship.
"We made it..." Quistis muttered as she looked to the others.
