Final Fantasy VIII The 2nd Sorceress War

"Hey, fella, you've been awfully silent during the travel. What troubles you? Hey, don't tell me it was because of what I said. I'm angry because that could have blown my cover, but I didn't realized you slept so lightly. There's more to you that meets the eye." After a day of travel on the bus, Krem was looking at the northern side of the Esthar continent, a place which he rarely visited. But, his mind was full of doubts. The only two people who he met had treaten him harshly. He had great doubts about his own mission. Was he really a terrorist, with no regards to using terror as a weapon? Was his act patriotic, terrorist, or simply selfish? The sudden words of the man broke his concentration.

"No, it was nothing. Just...thinking of myself. Though...I have a question." Krem replied back, hoping to hear an answer. Suddenly, his sight turned into the large complex standing to his front, at the distance. "That question should be left for later. We are about to reach the border. With that act, and that look of yours, they'll gun you at sight. We'll pass, low profile. Then, I take you nearby, and you're at your own. Put down your weapon, we are nearby."

The truck was swiftly aimed by the spotlights, as they neared the control post. Krem placed the gun at his feet, and under the seat. The truck lowered speed. The man moved a crank nearby, and a light inside turned on. Krem asked why he was doing that. He responded that he would attempt to pass the border by using the excuse of a chartered tour to Trabia, to which Krem supposedly paid a very large sum. Unnerved by being so close to Rinoan soldiers, he started to look blankly into space, to prevent eye contact. He placed the files nearby, still in the case he placed them.

Upon reaching the control post, Krem heard as the man negotiated pass with the guards. The soldiers were restricting access due to the terrorist act perpetrated on Esthar, and were checking any suspicious people around, thus they required to inspect all belongings. The man tried to negotiate the pass, and then allow inspection. All of a sudden, the soldiers were called by a superior, something which worried both men. The worries were not in vain, as all soldiers pointed their guns at the truck, and forced them to exit. The man took a small artifact, and proceeded to exit. Krem stood tall, and pulled his weapon with the feet, standing. He gave his weapon to the soldiers, who had a hard time holding it, and the files as well. Judging by the man's action, he expected a good distraction, enough to grab his stuff again and run. As the items were taken, they were left standing. Krem noted the shack where they palced the items. Soon thereafter, the soldiers proceeded to take them away. The man asked why such attitude, and the soldier responded that they were apprehended because of the checkpoint incident. Krem placed himself near a soldier with a gun, and awaited to be far from the bus.

Soon, the man looked at Krem, and muttered something Krem seemed to understand. The man pressed a button in the artifact, and the bus exploded, causing the soldiers to look for cover. Krem and the man grabbed two dropped guns, and started to fire at the surrounding soldiers as they ran to look for cover...

Ilyana watched, in silence, as Krem and an unknown man exited the bus, with Rinoan troops holding them at gunpoint. Ilyana wasn't sure what Krem was planning, but there was something strange about all of this. The other man was holding something she couldn't distinguish. While the troops were searching their things, the man had did something with the object, and the bus exploded, flaming pieces flying everywhere, smoke billowing into the sky, fire everywhere.

"Yes! A distraction!" Ilyana thought. "Heh...thanks, Krem." Ilyana rushed off, towards the compound, while Krem and the other man had grabbed guns and run off towards the compound as well. Ilyana turned to Krem and nodded with appreciation. Krem nodded back, running up the slope, towards the base.

The shrapnel and metal pieces had confused the sentry guns, which were shooting blindly, while the snipers couldn't see in the smoke. A perfect distraction.

Ilyana ran through the smoke, and had reached the entrance to the compound, where two heavy-set guards blocked her path, machine guns pointed towards her.

"HALT!" one of them demanded, lifting the gun higher, pointing it towards her head. Ilyana stopped as the smaller guard came up to her. Ilyana could hear Krem and the other man, fighting the guards.

The smaller guard had grabbed her hands and placed binders on them.

"What are you doing here? This is Rinoan territory!" the heavier one demanded. Ilyana shook her head.

"Go to Hell, you bastards!" she muttered and she kicked the man, from behind, in the groin. He let go immeadiately, holding his crotch. Ilyana charged at the heavier man and knocked him over. She picked up his machine gun and ran up to the fence, where the sentry guns were stationed. She shot the one nearest to her, because the smoke was starting to let up. The sentry gun exploded and fell to the ground. Ilyana walked up to the fence. It sounded as if Krem was still fighting. She must hurry.

She threw a twisted steel pipe at the fence, to see if it was still electrified. It was. The pipe fell to the ground after bouncing off the fence, electricity coursing through the pipe.

"Dammit!" she muttered. "I'll have to find the circuit breaker for the fence!" She ran to the wall of the compound, searching for the circuit breaker. It wasn't there. It must be inside.

She rushed to the door of the complex and shot the door panel. The door opened up.

"Krem! I have to go inside! The fence is electrified!" she shouted, before entering.

[Joe]

Zell ran and hit him in teh face his hand was hurt.

Zell: O **** MY HAND

Adem: I'm not a Robot idoet im a cyborg and now you'll see my true power.

Joe: RRRRRRRRRRRRRR

I ran and sliced his face blood rushed down you can tell that his face was normal.He got up and whiped the blood off his face.

Adem: well i have never bleed since my accident.

I ran over and stabbed him in the chest the blade did not go threw he grabbed me by the neck.Zell ran up to him and pushed him I fell off.Their was a pool of water under us I had to get him in somehow.

Adem: thats it

Joe: for you

I ran and tacled him in the we went threw the ledge and feel in the water.I got electrcuted.Adem was dead from the water his body suit exploed.I was a mess a crawled out of the pool and passed out.

"Seems the old man has the same intentions I have...guess it is the best distraction after all...", Krem thought, as he was firing blindly to see if some other guards fell out, in order to keep going. He needed to get the files and his gun, and go as fast as possible. The old man was quite skilled, as he managed to use less ammo than Krem had to.

However, his training as an exile worked to perfection. Smoke, similar in many ways to fog, allowed for the perfect way to hide and ambush the enemy, something he learned while traversing the world's dense forests. While he still was unexperienced in using fog to his favor, he knew the basics: move silently, move in a grappling position, grab, and backtrack. The nearby fence was good, since it allowed a vertical stand to launch his foes off. He moved silently, prowling, as he placed the used gun on his body via a strap. As he prowled to take away his first victim, he heard on the distance the sound of electricity. "No way, the fence's electrified too? I must be on my lucky day!!", he thought. He stumbled upon a standing guard, grabbed him into a sleeper hold, and held his mouth so he could not scream. He backtracked as the guards shot near where he stood. Holding his breath, so as not to be suffocated by the smoke, he moved slowly near the fence, then kicked the guard out with force. The guard met the fence, which led to a shocking disaster. The other guards shot at the hapless individual, nervous because of the chaos ensued.

The maneuver was not without total success: Krem was wounded by a sniper shot, which forced him to backtrack into the smoke. He then fell to the ground, lifted the used gun with the few rounds left, placed it on auto, and fired a barrage before lowering the gun again, chest on ground. More chaos ensued as the guards killed each other in the confusion, barely aiming to the ground where Krem was. He suddenly heard a voice in the distance, a very familiar voice indeeed. It was the prisoner's voice.

"Krem! I have to go inside! The fence is electrified!", she shouted. Krem saw this as a chance to look for his belongings, and any possesions the old man may have. He looked again at the shack where his possessions were held, and still with his chest on the ground, he moved toward the guards' bodies, to grab their guns...and make sure no one was alive. The snipers were the only ones left, as some guards who were guarding the shack. He moved outward into the shack's direction, and carefully aimed to the shack's guards. Krem let loose a few rounds at the first guards, and moved away, just as the smoke was almost gone. He lifted up, and ran into the nearest cover, a nearby bus, while he fend off with the remaining guards. If he had Silver Cross, he might be able to fight the snipers at an advantage...

(OOC: Yep, my precious RP is dead...with all of your permission (why I am asking it, I don't know...all of you have left except for Joe), I am going to officially say: FFVIII The Second Sorceress War is dead. However, I plan on making...a sequel. I will just end the RP in an epilogue. Sorry...well, check out the sequel if you want.)
