"Jesus Jyo!" Leah laughed, "I love you!" She swung around to cup Jyo's face in her hands and give him a big kiss on the forehead. He grinned, proud of his escapade and glad to have the alcohol he had been craving.

"So Leah... you ever had a drink before?" Rufus asked with a raised eyebrow, keeping his eyes on the road.

"....Once," she said, blushing. "So what? So I've never been drunk before. Give me that dolphin." She reached back, grabbed the straw, and brought it to her lips. Without hesitation, she took a huge gulp of the swishing vodka. Shit... Leah managed to swallow, but immediately started coughing and gasping afterwards. Her eyes teared up, and she started pounding on her chest as she delt with the odd sputtering cough. All the guys roared with laughter.

"Easy there, Leah," Vinnie howled.

Rex winked and said, "Yeah, no choking unless it's on my-"

"Oh **** you guys," she laughed through her coughing. Even the hardened Jimmy seemed slightly amused. Leah let go of the straw, and each of the guys took a drink. None of them coughed. Next time, Leah would be ready. At least, that's what she told herself. She was still clearing her throat when Rufus told her to check the map to make sure they were going the right direction. She traced the highway lines with her fingers and confirmed their correct course.

"Yale," Leah sighed. "I almost went there. I almost went to a lot of places."

"Could've gotten in, too, with those grades," Rufus said.

"Ah well. I got those grades because my parents wanted them, not because I did. They were nice, yeah, but I dunno... I think I could have been happy without all the attention. Do you have any idea how hard it is for 'smart girl' to get a date?" She slouched down in her seat and put her feet up on the dash. "It's fine, though. I got to focus on acting and voice instead."

Everyone was silent. Hmm.... lighten up, Leah, she thought to herself. She thought for a moment, looking for something that the guys could relate to. She had it.

"So who in here is a fan of sex?" Eyes widened, and faces brightened almost immediately. Back on track!

"A fan of sex? What do YOU kow about sex?"
"That's beside the point," Leah said, looking towards the back. "I asked who was a fan of it."
"It really isnt that special..." Rex muttered, admiring Chicken Von Vampire.
"Especially if you're half drunk and it's with a fat one." Jyo giggled. Rex smacked him one.
"Ooooh, a bit defensive, eh Rex?" Rufus said, knowing what Jyo was meaning.

A few weeks back, Rufus and Jyo had made it a point to get Rex drunker than he's ever been in his life (no easy feat) And tell the neaesrt fat chick that he was mad about her. It worked like a charm, making Rex succomb to his only weak point, hard liquor. The next day they caught a few pictures of him sleeping with the chub they bunked him with. Course they'd never tell Rex they were responsible, he'd never talk to them ever again.

"What do you mean defensive?" Rex barked.
"Nothing, nothing at all."
"Uhhhh Ruf..... how would YOU know?"

Leah looked back. This would be interesting.

"Ruf hasnt done it yet either?"
Rufus shook his head.
"So how do you have room to talk?"
"I'm a virgin due to lack of trying."
"You're passing up four years of hot teen *****? WHY!?"
"Well, you're passing up big hot rods, so no talk out of you."
"You're waiting till you get married?"
"........ You could say that."
"The girl from the picture?"

"Awwwwwww...... Do you think she's waiting for you?"

Laughter from the backseat.

"I doubt it."
"Then why wait for her?"

"I say you come with me tonight as I lose my virginity."
"WHASAFWJKO!L~M!?" Was..... probably the best way to put that response from the backseat.
"Suprised? Don't be. I've always wondered what sex will be like..... I imagine it as some beautiful event, filled with passion. And moaning." Leah emitted a giggle, reaching for the straw to Chicken Von Vampire.
Rufus laughed.
"What? Too corny for you?"
"No, its just foolish, that's all. The first time hurts. Like a bitch. You'll stretch the walls of your...... doo-hickey. And you'll bleed. If not during, then after. Because you'll end up ripping a thin layer of flesh."
"Ewww."
"And you'll be sore the next morning. Like..... you know, begging me to carry you. And itll last a massive 45 seconds."
"How do you know so much, oh wise one?"
"I just know these things. It's impossible to tell where I gathered this knowledge. I'm Jesus."
"ooooh. Well, why haven't you gone out and got yourself some?"

By now the conversation had gotten too deep for those in the back to care. They were busy drinking and partying, as college boys do. They didnt NEED a party to party.

"Because i'm a sap. I need to know that me and her are done before I move on."
"What could have been so special about her so as to do this to you?"
"She was the best thing to ever happen to me."
"......... Ehhh....I don't get it. But of course, i've never been in love."
Rufus dug through his shirt, and pulled out a necklace. It was a plain chain, just something off a lamp pull. On it was a small black rubber ring.

"She give you that?"
"Yeah. And for some reason, I still have it."
"Is that a washer?"
"Basically."
"You know what....."
"What?"
"Considering you got us in a wreck earlier, you've done a considerably good job of driving while busy."
"Hey, this car is still prime. There was no wreck."

Rex immediately started humping Chicken von Vampire when he smelled the holy scent of vodka, he could even smell the different brands mixed together, smirnoff, eristoff, finlandia vodka...it was all good shit big time. He gulped it down like it was water and noticed the eyes growing of the choking Leah.

"Easy there, Leah," Vinnie howled.

Rex winked and said. "Yeah, no choking unless it's on my-"

He got a partially bitchy, partially laughing remark..ah well, he deserved it.

Rex quickly turned his head away from the group when Jyo and Rufus mentioned the fat chick. Unluckily it hadn't bene the first time last night. Luckily he had still gotten on with more hot girls then ugly lardy ones, but still it had happened way too many times.

Rex passed the evil dolphin towards Vinnie one more time "take some more man, the best way to get rid of a hungover is just to start boozing again".
Chicken von Vampire circled around through the car again.

Rex still got his doubts at first about this Jimmy guy, he had seen im before from time to time, but never actually hung out with him. He noticed that slowly he was losening up a bit though and started to get the hang of this roadtrip. Maybe it was the companion or just the booze, who would tell?

"150 more miles", Rex softly mumbled "150 more miles to Yale", while we grabbed Chicken von Vampire once again for a good gulp.

One hundred and fifty miles, Leah thought, and sighed as she rolled down her window. She folded her elbows, leaned against the rubber window sill, and rested her chin against her wrists. The air sailed past her in a rush of fumes and pine baking beneath the noon sun. She stretched out an arm to feel the heat of the sunlight as it ran like pale thin honey over her skin. Her nails had been filed recently. Perfect white moons resting above her own rosy pink fingertips. It was all so controlled. Her whole life was a constant struggle to maintain some kind of order separate from the natural order she had been thrown into. She suddenly wanted to cut off those crescents, file them down to nothing. Learn guitar. Something. She played classical piano well. Now there's an exciting instrument Damn you, mother.

She thought about the things that she had just said. She hoped that the boys had taken what she had said as the joke that it was. Who would she lose her virginity to anyway? She wanted to kiss someone, though. True, she had been kissed, but not with passion. Why had she been missing out on a tongue between her lips? That was something she would certainly remedy by the end of the trip.

Her seat shook. Someone had kicked it. She turned her head to look at Vinnie who was innocently gazing out his window beneath his sunglasses. Hmm... She turned back around and was just starting to enjoy the sting of the wind on her cheeks when another thump against the back of her chair jerked her forward and back. Oh, that is quite enough.

"Well, boys, I hope you don't mind. I'd like a nap." Without much other warning, she pulled the lever on the side of her chair and quickly leaned back, smashing against Vinnie's lap.

"Ouch!" he laughed, not really being hurt, but not at the peak of comfort either. After all, the seat was rather padded.

"Actually, nevermind, I don't think I could fall asleep with all of you having access to my head. I've seen the pranks you pull." She yanked on the lever again, and sat up straight. "But you know what I would really like? Something to eat. I don't think I've eaten all day. Rufus, would you pull over at the next Wendy's?"

"Sure, I guess."

"Great. It's been a while since I had a number four. That mother of mine is a real health food nut. I know it's good for me, but sometimes I just crave a greasy, fattening big bacon classic. No onions, of course, and easy on the mayonnaise. And a Dr. Pepper." Leah trailed off and started humming to herself. She could taste that bacon grease now.

Vinnie couldnt relaly care if Leah had decided to rest her seat on him. Vinnie gazed out of his glasses, his mind being filled with the sounds of "Thursday" now, he remembered the concert he wa sat, front row center..one of the most amzing shows hes ever been too, other then the ugly fat kid behind his pushing him the whole time..it was quite an enjoyable expeirence. Vinnie rubbed his 5 O'clock shadow once more. He could feel the alcohal swimming inside of his stomach. The feeling of vodka inside of him was always a feeling Vinnie always tried to be absent from. But hell it was free, and vinnie never gave up a free alcoholic beverage, this was his biggest foe. He easily succombed to temptation. He wasnt proud of this but he knew it always turned out good…

The mood in the car was cheery, he could feel the rumbling in his stomach grow stronger...drinking in the early afternoon never turned out good, especially when he didn’t eat. He could still taste the strong piercing taste of the liquor, it was like poison his head felt heavy in his temples..he just grabbed the sides of his head, and held his temples as to try and releave pressure.

He could hear discussions of food over the hum of the licquor, he could use sum food. it'd definately help ease the pressure of the vodka, he knew he wasnt drunk, because well it was simple he wasnt. he just felt uneasy, he wasnt sure why. maybe it was the liquor, but it probably wasn't..what was this feeling?
