(OoC: Finally Im back, sorry for the delay)
"Well we might as well take some rest, but we cannot delay too much" dalmar spoke. "The Cottage of archsage Althemas is only a few miles away from here, not more than 3 hours. We could use this town to get some provisions. " "I'm going to search for some information, if there were any sightings of the darkness in this surroundings." He started walking towards what seemd the town's square. Where many people were gathered. (sorry but can't think of anything more for now) |

((Don't everyone post at once!!))
Rain, Shinrai and Reshel all sat on the soft moss just outside the town. Rain's pony, Lani Rist, struck the ground impatiently and tugged the rope gently, hoping the tree it was tied to would decide to let go. They had been travelling for most of the day and here a new town lay before them. Rain and Shainrai spoke quietly but Reshel did not hear them, she watched the scene before her intently. She was reminded of the times she used to go the the town centre back in Lani Rist when she was a child, just to watch the people. She would sit for hours and imagine where they came from and where they were going. What fate held for them and what they'd already seen. "I'm not waiting for Dalmar. We've got to find a place to stay the night before the sun sets anyway. Let's go into town." The other two stopped talking and decided whether they were coming or not. Rist gave a snort of approval and the others consented, untying the horse and heading into town beside Reshel. The town was busy, but seemed to be winding down. The sun was slowly sinking in the sky and a cold wind was picking up. People shouted across the streets, children screamed as mothers scolded. Old women with shawls pulled tight around their frail bodies gossiped the day away, and the three of them carried themselves lightly into this new and strange town, not knowing what to expect. "Here's an inn" Reshel noticed, the wooden sign creaking inthe wind. It was a small house with maybe two available rooms and a pleasant smell of rosemary and clean laundry. "Do you have any vacancies?" Reshel asked the man behind the counter. He was short and stout with a long beard that looked as though it might have been fake. His eyebrows almost covered is eyes. "We do!" he said in a gravelly voice. "How many rooms yer looking for?" |
