Revival of the Council (Council of Mages people only!)

looking at zell, directly in the eyes as if trying to make him burn in sorrow, Windslash, removed his hood, he hada great slash across his eyes, both of them, he was blind.
his black hair fell back, and then he spoke:

"my only reason for living is to find power..".
then he made a slight movement and turned back, staring down, and finally he spke.
"its all left to me, after a dear person to me dissapeared, my mentor actually, I need the power to find him, so that he can see, what i've become. "
Then a little tear, fell down form windslash's face, and he began to talk about someone else.
"She was the reason i became a mage, to protect her, but I lost her, and now she is dead, all was my fault, all I loved was lost in a matter of seconds. when all darkness took her, I saw her smile go away, I saw her fading smile one last time, sob, thast why im blind, I asked a knight, a friend of mine, to cut my eyes, i don't want to see anyone fade away again, so I must get the power, to get rid of that darkness that takes away all my loved ones"
then speaking to himself : " you're still in my mind my dear Sarah, one day I will avenge you, I promise you I will not die until I fullfill that"
Then truning back to zell he spke gravely:
"thats all about me that you should know... thats the reason i seek power. And when I saw the group of mages, i told to myself, maybe I could get help from them, maybe I can learn something from them."

And with that he drew his hood back on, and rested on the wall.
grabing, and aparently talking to himself again, a small necklace, made with a normal cahin, with a ruby incrusted in the center.
"Oh Sarah, how i wish you were here with me, this the only thing I have of yours, the necklace you gave me when I told you I loved you"
...

"thats it for me" he said "thats my information you can learn about hte others if you ask them directly" But I choose to talk to you, becuase you seem somehow familiar, i would rather say you look like someone i knew"

Dawn looked at the girl and Codward. "I'm coming too..." She mumbled.

"Hey, sure it'll be great to have a white mage... But you can't even handle the basics..." The girl joked declining Dawn.

"That wasn't an offer..." Dawn narrowed her eyes. "That was and is going to be a promise kept!"

"What?" Codward asked. "You sure you wanna do this?"

"Stop making me sound as though I'm the girl who'd cry over a broken nail!" Dawn screamed at them. "I haven't been able to see the real sights of the world for all of my life! I need to... So I know what I've missed! My childhood, my friends, my..." She paused for a second. "My liberty..."

She turned away from them, heading towards the opposite direction.

"Maybe you'd understand if you didn't have so much time... Go... I have training to attend to..." She mumbled before breaking into tears on the way to her training.

Windslash facing at Codward, suddenly spoke:

" Let her be, the past hurts, I can understand the pain she feels, but she can do more than she thinks, if she has enough will."
As Dawn ran, he suddenly started to feel somthing strange, an inner light was feeling inside, then he suddenly spoek again:
"If I'm not a bother mind if I join with you, there is something I must do"
"Though im blind I can be of help, I´ve managed to learn the ways of my heart, I see with my heart, I don't need eyes to see something, its just some weird emotion"

Then he caught up with Dawn, and told her:
"don't let it get to you, I'm sure the don't really understand what pain really is, just to let you know, if you need anything i'll be there for you, you can count on me, maybe im blind, but my heart is strong, thats what keeps me on my beliefs, well cya later"

"And remember, you can do anything if you really believe in it"

With that last words he got back with the others and spoke:

"Codward I wish to travel with you, and I will whether you like it or not, even though it woulld be the same as I walk throught the shadows, and even the strongest mage could not sense my soul..."

Dawn thought about what Windslash said and turned to him, Codward and the other mage.

"I said it before, I'll say it again! I'm coming too!" She smiled at them and ran to Windslash.

"Thanks..." She smiled at him and hugged him. "I can't let my past control my future... I almost forgot that... Thank you for reminding me..." She stopped and stood back.

"First, I want to try something..." She held her head high, closed her eyes and floated about one centimetre high. With that, a bright light shone around her as all the scars that were on her face disappeared, like she was a whole new person.

It stopped after a minute, and she smiled. "I did it! ...I can heal wounds..."

Windslash faced at her, he smiled and said:
" See you did it, I knew you could do it, now I don't want to see you suffer anymore, nor anyone suffering, I've seen enough"
"now I won't make you loose your time now ,be well, Maybe another time you could tell me your story."

He sat with his back on the wall. He smiled at dawn again.

He faced Codward and told him:
"Ok you heard her, ther is no stopping her, nor me for following you"

with this he sank back in thinking, then he stood up and catched Dawn again and said:
"Here take this, I want you to have it"
He reached out of his pockets the necklace of Sarah.
"Take it as a gift, please"

And he sat back again.

"Dawn... you look beautiful. I would be honored for you, and anyone else to join my encourage. And thank you for this gift. I;m sure it will come in handy. Now... where shall we go? I am not yet a complete member of the Mages Guild, so I guess we should start with that." said Codward, almost unable to take his eyes off Dawn. He walked up to the Guild Stuardess and asked for membership.
"You must pass our newbie test." she explained.
"Please choose one other Mage member to accopany you in this quest." asked the stuardess. Codward didn't even hesitate.
"I would like Dawn to accopany me in my quest. Dawn, would you like to come?" asked Codward.
"Of course she must now that you have requested it of her. If she wants promoted that is. Now, you must go to the Bitter Cost and find me three special herbs vital for my Mystic research. Violet Ron is a purple plant which glows at night, Bunglers Bane is a red mushroom, Facia is a lime green fungus, and Drac is a black flower. Find them, and bring them back here. Then you shall become a Neyphonite in the Guild of the Mages."
"Ok then. Shall we leave Dawn? And for the rest of you, would you mind waiting here?" asked Codward.

"Do as you will" Windslash told him:
"Just be sure you both come back safely"

"One more thing, Dawn when you have time, Iwould like, if you could heal the wound in my eyes, the thing you said "I can't let my past control my future" made me think, maybe its time for me to get to the present and stop suffering from my losses in the past. Thank you, if you could heal my eyes I would be forever grateful."

He then went back to his spot in the shadows and sat he was kind of talking to himself. And finally he sat with his hood down, his face was finally for ll to see it, the grat slash across his eyes, and his long pale green hair, falling in his back.
he was tracing like a sketch of a constellation. and he drew a bigger star in the middle, the constellation was a great cross and in the middle a great white star.

Then he joyfully said: "my consteallation is ready , I shall gather energy to create it. the name of the big star was marked it said "Sarah".

Dawn smiled at Windslash and put her right ring and middle finger on her forehead. Back in her homeland, it was considered a sign of frienship and of honesty.

"I promise I'll see to your wounds when I return with Codward as a member... And thank you for the necklace... It'll remind me of your wisdom and your honesty." She smiled again before turning to Codward.

"So, Codward... Is it okay if I call you Coddy? I don't mind... Anyway, you've gotta find the four herbs? I suggest that we set out now, get rested up in my tiny home by the beach, which I'm hardly ever in, then at night we'll start searching so it'll be easier to find the Violet Ron!"

She noticed him staring deeply into her eyes no matter what she was saying. She turned her head away so he couldn't see her blushing. She thought he was rather charming really, for him to tell her she was beautiful up in front of her without any hesitation. They hadn't even known each other for that long... It made her wonder.

"Why did you want me to accompany you out of all those people anyway? Am I really that beautiful?" She smiled, trying not to let him see her blush again. "Tell me what's on your mind?"

They began to walk out of the Guild as Codward answered Dawn's questions.

"Well, you have a aura about you that is shearly mystifying. I hope I'm not being too upfront, but I'm attracted to you. And... well I'll tell you later. Shall we get to the Bitter Cost? Um... where is this Bitter Cost place? Do you know?" asked Codward. It appeared that the sun would soon set, and this meant that the Violet Ron would be glowing soon.

Then Windslash stood up and went walking to the woods.

There he found an open spot and stood in the middle.

The he shouted:

"Starlight Shot!!!!" with his hand extended and one of his fingers pointing to the trees and from its tip 5 light missiles poped out og his finger andcahrged against the trees , and suddenly they were down.

then he mumbled to himself:
"hmmf, only five, thats weird, I 'll have to keep practicing, until I can get the 10 shots." concentrating again he shouted again:
"Starlight shot!!!!" this time his aura started to glow, he was burning in black energy, and then 10 great rasy of light struck against the forest, leaving 15 trees down and 5 burning.

"huff, finally made it, i'm so....." with this he collapsed in the middle of the forest, and stayed uncounscious.
Suddenly all was black, and he saw something.
Hours passed and he was still unconscious, he saw Sarah vanishing and with her fading mile he started to cry, then he shouted:

"Sarah Nooooooo!!!!!!!!!!" and he woke up, panting he tried to get a hold of himself, he was sitting sweating in the middle of the forest alone.

He then finally got out his drawing, and he stood again , and surrounded in white light he started moving his hands, it was nightfall now, he started moving his hands an the stars began to move, and he formed the constelation of the balck cross, he named it that way, and in the middle shone a great star, which he called Sarah, he said to be its guardian star.

Then he returned to the guild, it was midnight by the time he arrived and then he opened the door, and saw all silent, he entered and sat in the shadows, and slept.

"Sarah please don't make me see it again..."

And with he slept with his back on the wall.

It was dark. A sudden midnight blackness had filled the sky, making any surroundings close to invisible. Tiny speckles of light were dancing in the sky, entertaining any watchers. They - the stars - truly were a beautiful sight to see. Turning. Teasing. Playing with the eyes of many people below. A low sigh escaped from the depths of Shinrai's throat, slicing through the tension, cutting through the quietness that surrounded her.

A wisp of the chilly breeze blew past suddenly, pressuring anything that wasn't held down by gravity to be pushed to the air. Locks of Shinrai's silky auburn coloured hair floated gently through the air, impairing her vision slightly. She automatically raised a hand, moving it in a fluid movement, and tucked it behind its rightful place.

Her eyes.

Her eyes, a dark chocolatey colour, contained more secrets than many others would. They were blank, dull, if you will. Full of sadness. Shinrai's eyes, they were transfixed on the ground, where her delicate hands were playing with strands of grass that were weaving in and out. Upset, it was obvious, that she was.

In her heart, she wished for the return of her beloved Mazaki.

"So..." Dawn smiled using her senses to guide where she was. "Have you wanted to become a mage and trained more than ever or were you stuck with it because of your family?" She asked Codward. "Or is that too personal for me to ask?"

He said nothing, she thought he just wanted to get the trial over with.

"Oh... I guess you don't wanna talk about it. That's ok... I mean, we've only just met... It's not like you have to tell me all your secrets all of a sudden!" She smiled pathetically, luckily, he couldn't see it in the dark.

Up ahead, there was a large glow a fair while away from them.

"That'll be the Violet Ron patch outside my home..." She mumbled, taking his hand so they wouldn't be lost. "Even if you won't answer me, I don't wanna lose another new mage!"

"Well, what luck...I have none it seems..."Alan was tied up, literally, for trying to steal a ship, he is after all, a thief...."Son of a bitch...I always seem to get caught...maybe I should try being honest...Riiiiiight, that'll happen...but time for me to go, FIRE!" Alan burns away the ropes and runs..."Well, that failed, miserably, but, I got what I needed" Holds up the stone of Curaga "Angela, I hope I'm not too late!"

He noticed it grew very dark, "Wow, this is creepy..." After walking a bit, he noticed a person playing with the grass, "Seems like a mixture of, Anger and Sadness," He walked over to the person, not knowing who it was he asked, "Who are you? what seems to be the problem?

"Ah yes, that looks like the Violet Ron." said Codward. They walked over to it, and picked one of the parts off of it.

"So, this is what we need? Well, I guess it is if it's glowing like this." said Codward, almost to himself. He was staring at Dawn again, not realizing it.

"If you really must know... Dawn... I .... I shall tell you my story. But shouldn't we get the rest of the herbs? Or... do you want to know now?" he asked her.

Suddenly, Windslash awoke, and gooto ut of the guild, he looked at the sky and felt the energy of the stars, the light of the moon was in his face and said:

"If only I could see, I could watch how beautifull the night really is, but ffor me now, its just a place where I can express myself"

He satyde starring at the sky for a while.

"Sarah those were truly happy days, when we would go out to the woods and lay at the grass under the starlight, I wish I could see you once again"

Wih that he sat in teh grass and then he laid on it. "ahhh, what a mess, if only had the power, i'm to weak for now, ecerytime I do something good I pass out, it seems I'll never get the power to avenge you..."

He remained the night under the stars.
