Andromeda jumps rope with Freya - (lv 5)Andromeda jumps rope with Freya - (lv 5)Andromeda jumps rope with Freya - (lv 5)Andromeda jumps rope with Freya - (lv 5)
The images had continued to rush through her mind without much cause, she did not know what they were or could even distinguish between one and the next to follow. Each one blurred on to the next giving her an uneasiness that made her toss in her sleep. She had wanted to jump up out of the sleep shaking it off with reality, but each time she could feel her pulling away it brought her back. The dream itself would not let her be it seemed, what purpose did it have that it was so determined to hold her. All the images could not be sorted or seen well enough to find a reason, but it had gone from a dream to a conscious unconsciousness that was strange. It felt displaced, disorienting for her and she just wanted to scream out loud to her something real. The images became so fast to her that she could not concentrate on them and as strange as it could be she became unconscious within her own unconsciousness.

Many processes unknown to her were taking place within our own body mending and recovering her body. A soft glow came from her body hardly noticeable, but it was working to make her well again. But it was also altering her making her more compatible for what she was. The ages of change and the lost arts had made the body forget what it was truly capable of. Changes had to be made, reversing time and evolution on the body to bring it back to the stature it had known in the days of the past. But she was not ready yet, her mind was waking again.

Andromeda’s eyes opened, blinking to see a white polished steel ceiling and wall. She pulled herself up looking around the room. It was Spartan in size that to be expected for a spaceship she quickly realized as she saw the lights and panels that sparsely decorated the walls. She was uncertain where she was anymore, the only she could remember was the horde of people coming towards her and her trying to flee from them. Then everything went blank.

What happened in that time, how did she get here? Where was here, what was this and who put her here? She stood up looking around the room still trying to figure out what type of ship it might be. But she could not tell. There was a variety of things laying across the room, but nothing she could recognize. She stepped out of the room looking around the hall wondering if she would find someone passing by. But the hall was small, not very long just extending up to the cockpit area and back to the engines. It could not be a very large ship at all. She looked up at the cockpit to find nothing, but the view of a horizon and trees out the windows. They were not in space, though it was hard to know if this was still Vilant or not.

She wandered around the rest of the ship that remained to try to find someone, but the ship was empty and locked. What seemed like the hatch to open to the outside was locked, she was unable to leave. Whoever had found her had not wanted her to leave, had it been the scientists at the lab and they were just holding her here until moving her back to the labs. Maybe someone cautious or uncertain, she did not know and realized she really could not know. Seeing as the ship did not tell her much about the person she could not figure it out. But she did want to leave, remaining her would not be good for her on way or another. She needed to know where she was and what she would do next.

Andromeda made her way to the cockpit sitting down in the chair and began to browse everything she saw in front of her. She looked around to try to find a display of the area, maybe a location of where the ship was, anything that would tell her where she was. Unfortunately there were so many buttons and screens, panels that she did not understand it was going to be harder than she thought. Seeing the front of the cockpit as the best place to begin, she slowly search over each button and panel to see what they said. If she was lucky enough one of them should be for the ships location and maps telling her where this ship was. She was sort of hoping that this ship was not on Vilant anymore, but she doubted it. Her luck was not that good. It seemed though that most of the things were locked out for her, which probably was a good though. Last thing she needed was the ship launching itself because she pressed the wrong button. Her fingers finally ran across something that looked like what she wanted, pushing it in a 3-D map was projected up. She stared at it for several minutes till she realized that it was not Vilant that she was on after all. It was Elysion, she was on the planet that was home for the Moon and Vilant, where everything had begun. It had really happened, she was gone from Vilant now for good. She could escape into the world without anyone finding her again. But first she needed out of this ship, but she had no yet of getting out.

The cockpit had few things left for her to look at and she wanted to try figuring out the door. Maybe if she played around with it, the hatch would open letting her out. It seemed like a long shot, but at this point she had very little left to go on and she wanted distance between this ship. The ship had an uneasiness in it that she had felt for a while, something that she could not place…just present. She would feel better leaving this ship, or at least that is what she wanted to think.

She walked through the short hall to the hatch and began to search the area for whatever there was. It seemed to be rather simple from what she could see…it was locked. Maybe there was a manual override, some switch or lever she could find to open it to get around the lock. However, she was just guessing, the ship was unfamiliar to her and though it seemed logical that it would have an override of some sort, how could she assume that about the ship. Yet just doing nothing was not much either, she had to try if nothing else to pass the time until the owner returns.

Andromeda started pulling off every metal plate that she could find and running her hand through the walls. There was more places for her to enter than she thought there would be on a ship. The floor was quickly covered in metal plates and wires that she had pulled out. It was a mess, but she had to find a way out if she could. Her hand just pulled out of another opening without anything she could see as helpful. There was only one more in the area she could see that was near to where she was. It was her last chance, her fingers wrapped around the plate and pulled against the wall. The metal scraped and hesitated, this one had not been removed in a while it seemed, but it was slowly giving. She gave it another tug hearing the metal screech till it was free sending her against the hatchway’s opposite side. Her back hit the exposed wall behind that she had opened, it poked and scraped against her back. Biting her teeth she stood up and looked into the newly opened part of the wall.

Her eyes could not see anything inside, but maybe her hand could. Slowly, carefully her hand entered the opening and began to search around for anything. At first there was just wires, as always, that ran through the entire ship with this hole being no exception. She pulled the wires out of her way only to find nothing. Her hand moved to another area but when she saw her hand through another hole, she knew that there was not anything in that direction. Painfully turning her arm around to search in a new area of the wall she pull out more wires, but this time something happened. The lights dimmed and then went black, next to her see could hear the sound of metal shifting place. The bolts that held the hatch locked were being released. She waited for the sound to stop and then pushed against the hatch with all her strength. The hatch slowly gave till it dropped open.

A gust of wind blew in to the ship’s hall as Andromeda stared out into the new world. This was her first time to see Elysion, she had always been shown pictures and images of it from space, but none of that could really show the world as it was. The area around the ship was green and alive unlike the moon or the city of the Vilant. But there was little that she could see of the world from her. It was time to start over again, go into hiding, find somewhere, where she could be alone with herself. Maybe the distance from Vilant will settle her mind and everything that was happening.

Andromeda jumped down from the ship it was a good fifteen feet to the ground, but her feet seemed to come down with ease. She did not even feel the impact, but she did not pay it mind and ran off into a cover of trees she saw in the distance. The trees came to her faster than she would have thought, but she was just glad to have cover around her. She would be able to move with more ease under shadow. She could feel the wind blowing through her hair sweeping it back, the bright blue dye had returned to her during her sleep. It was a sign to her that she was normal, the strange colors that it had turned before had worried her. Everything seemed normal again, normal for her at least.

The trees became a forest quickly as she realized it was much larger than the outward appearance. Despite the forest, she was pleased that it was larger, it meant more coverage and time for her to figure out where she wanted to go next. The air around her seemed calm, a soothing sense that she could feel safe. The chirping of birds around her and little animals running around collecting food echoed this feeling. A larger animal came up it her following her for some strange reason. She did not know why, but it did not mean harm, though when another two of different types started to follow her she got worried. What was happening to them, why were that following her?

She stopped to see what they would do. Slowly they approached her and just stared at her. Soon she could see more coming as one by one more animals approached her and just stopped around her. Birds started to perch on her shoulder and little furry creatures crawling up her feet. It was unnerving to her, they all seemed friendly, but so many were gathered….and why. One of them licked her hand and she shock in surprise. Then another one did, she raised up her hands trying to get out of reach. What were they doing, she did not understand the behavior. Were not most animals afraid of people, they just run from them or keep their distance? Why were these different, they were not running away from her, but trying to get closer.

However, before she could think much more a shot rang out from the darkness of the forest. It hit one of the larger animals bringing it to the ground, whimpering to her as blood started to drip from its wound. The animal tried to stand back up, but fell down, she watched in its eyes as she could almost feel its pain. She became overwhelmed by the feeling as the animal struggled to stand again. Another shot rang out striking down another of the animals. Her eyes turn to rage as she glared into the distance from where the shots were fired. Her hand raised and sent a gust of wind to blow away the cover the man had. She could see he was a hunter, a poacher who’s purpose was to hunt animals for prizes and money. Her palm turned red as flames burst on the hands of the hunter making him drop the gun, he turned and ran leaving her to the cries of the animals.

The animals drew closer as though they were begging her to help the animals. But she did not know what to do, she knew this was not over. She was not who she was anymore, she was something else now that she did not know or understand. She was no longer the person that she was, but something else not of her own design or wish. Andromeda knelt down placing a hand on each of the wounded animals. Her hands glowed returning life to the animals, healing their wounds. When she was done she walked away leaving the animals behind, they did not follow.

”What am I? What am I becoming? Was this some part of the project? Did they want this to happen? Is that why they want me back so badly? Is this a side effect maybe or just a mistake that is more than they wanted? What am I going to do?”

“Remember…the world of rivers…home…”
a voice said echoing in her mind.

”Not again…what do you want from me!?!” She felt a strong pain in her head sending her to the ground. It was an unbearable pain that made her cry out startling the animals. A wave burst out of her, something she could barely see, then another. The wave expanded across the land. The wave expanded farther until it hit the beast that had been Firewing.

The beast cried out a deafening scream and a bright light engulf it, out of the light fell Firewing falling to the ground and trees below not far from Laxton. Even farther did the wave reach touching even Misato the wave weakened her even more, she felt herself collapse to her knee. The wave expanded farther affecting even the hidden Rydius his body weakened too.

Andromeda screamed in pain wanting it to go away, the animals began to approach her cautiously. They placed their noses against her, then laying down next to her. Animals from around the forest came resting on her. She felt the pain slowly given away as she fell to unconsciousness once again.

“Sir.”

“Yes?”

“Our team on Elysion has picked up some strange readings that you might want to see.”

“Oh?” The man handed him a glowing electronic pad, the screen already turned on. He stared at it looking over the report briefly as well as the readings. “I see and how positive are they?”

“They say the field was only before, lasting for maybe twenty seconds at moment and they were only able to obtain ten seconds of data. But they are very certain that the readings are accurate.”

“You do know what this means.”

“Yes sir, The Waters Wave.”

“Yes, its earlier than the scientist predicted.”

“The readings say its only at a low level F, but that is enough.”

“Very true, tell them to continue to monitor and have sensors on around the clock. I do not want to miss the next one.”

“Do you think its her?”

“There is only two possibilities, either she emitted it or it was the other.”

“But its been inactive for millennia’s.”

“Yes it has, but it is not out of the question that it has not awakened given the time. Keep monitoring and locate the source. We must know which possibility.”

“Yes, sir.” The man exited leaving him alone again. He looked at the report again reading over it thoroughly. His eyes stopped reading when he reached the sensor readings.

“…only low level F…nothing to worry about yet…though level C is going to bring trouble to the world…will this be the apocalypse…”

Sparx is a n00b - (lv 0)
Trask sat in the lounge area of the moving space station. He had soon after learned that it was a dreadnought class cruiser that had been heavily modified to be used as an orbiting station. It was modified so much that the sheer size of the damned thing had made it almost the same size as a small planetoid – so big in fact that the only surface that the ship could possibly land on would be a moon or a large enough asteroid, for if it attempted to land on a planet teeming with life, anything within a forty-mile radius would be scorched and severely damaged from the large Hauser thrusters that were built along the large underbelly of the craft. But as it was Trask was happily reading “Gun Monthly” and drinking a bottle of Jack Daniels Whiskey. He was sitting on his own, apart from a couple of lovers staring out into space and a few people playing a game of cards.

No one actually spoke to Trask because they were too afraid to do so, as they took one look at the size of him and looked the other way. Trask didn’t mind this as it gave him his own personal space. He gave a grin and turned the magazine ninety degrees and the poster folded out to reveal a rather scantily clad young woman with long chocolate hair that reached down to her backside her ample cleavage showing through the bikini that she wore. But it wasn’t the pretty girl that had his attention. It was the large high-calibre assault rifle.

“OO I wants me one of those!!” Trask exclaimed out loud, causing some people who were walking past to look over his shoulder. One young man piped up causing some more interest not really knowing what it was that Trask was looking at.

“WooooOWW… She is a hottie!” the man drooled, almost slobbering over Trask’s jumpsuit. More people crowded over to see what was going on as a few mechanical specialists and gun nuts peeked over – knowing what Trask was talking about.

Trask sucked his teeth and nodded.

“Yeah that’s some sexy bit of hardware!”

“Damn right” said one youth next to him who thought he was talking about the woman.

“Hey kid… I’m talking about the hardware, not the babe!”

The young man’s jaw dropped as he saw the rifle nestled in the girls more than ample cleavage. Trask was sure that the kid had an aneurism there and then for he was reduced to mindless syllables – and complete body shut down… well in most areas as the kid struggled to stand properly or even struggled to stand at all without burbling about the woman in the photo. Trask really shook his head and poked the kid in the chest for good measure and watched as he fell over into a gurgling heap on the middle of the floor.

“Oh yeah...he’s gone!” Trask simply spoke before the comm.-bead in his ear went off and the voice of the CIC was heard.

“Trask… I want you to report to the tech-bay now. I have some important news for you anbout your armour and the servitors wish to show you a few changes that they had made to the suit from your last encounter with Firewing. And put that magazine down… you can’t have one of those rifles yet.”

The ear bead piped to a hold and no further transmission was made. Trask sat for a minute and took one last swig of the bottle of Jack Daniels and stood up tossing the magazine into one of the many tables that were littering the lounge area. He stretched a few times and then stepped on the sofa and over the back of it and out of the large white doors and made his way to the turbo shaft that would take him to deck 4A – the technical and repair bay for all things hardware and mechanical.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

While the Dreadnought class cruiser was making its way to Elision, there were other events taking place in the corporation tower. At his desk Foxxis looked up at the three people assembled before him. Skye, Tank, and Vorpal – all three an elite group of soldiers, but each with their own flaws.

Skye, beautiful sexy and deadly and very easily swayed by beautiful trinkets items or even highly driven by her hormones to make her act out of protocol when she was on a mission.

Tank, powerful deadly destructive but very stupid and very easily confused on the field of battle if someone is trying to trick him into stopping his attack, so that they themselves can get away.

Lastly, Vorpal, perfect in every way. As alluring as he is deadly, he is a card carrying psychopath with an over zealousness that can demolish the heaviest of foundations.

Foxxis looked at each of them and began to berate each in turn for their failings on their last combined mission. He couldn’t believe how such a straightforward and direct mission ended up going to hell because of their inability to curb their own flaws and get something done right.

“You are all USELESS!!! You three cannot curb your flaws just to get one simple mission right! Your stupidity, overzealousness and lack of hormone control make even the simplest task a complete misery for us all!! You have no idea the amount of money we have lost due to your stupidity! FOUR MILLION down the drain because the bitch, the dumbass and the zealous couldn’t think with their heads. HONESTLY! You three are worse than useless half the time.”

Foxxis stopped and composed himself. It was an amazing ability he had – insanely furious one minute and icily calm the next – it was also an ability that even fazed Vorpal. And for all the terrorizing that Vorpal could muster, he still balked at Foxxis’ innate ability to switch between moods that sent a shudder up his mechanical spine. Sky pouted and rolled here almond eyes while Tank just scratched the back of his head blankly.

Foxxis sat at his desk again and clasped his hands together and looked at a document under his arms before looking up at Skye directly. He spoke, making the azure haired beauty shiver and flinch at the same time.

“You, Skye, have let your body overpower your mind more often than nought and I should send you to the technical laboratory to have you fixed so that you don’t succumb to your primal desires. However this mission I'm about to give you, warrants the use of those abilities of yours. All three of you take a look at this.”

With the flick of a button, Foxxis activated the large monitor that replayed the footage of the conflict between Firewing and the mysterious man in the experimental armour.

“This is what I need you to do Skye… I need you to find out everything you can about him!”

Foxxis accented the last part of his statement by freezing the picture on Trask’s face, showing Skye her target. She committed the image to memory and flashed her trademark grin and purred before kissing the monitor screen.

“You… are all mine baby…” Skye giggled as the three men looked at each other with incredulous looks on their faces. This was going to be a long and difficult few days.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Trask stood with his arms folded in annoyance at the mewling servitors as they poked and prodded at the repaired areas of the armour. They had been poking and prodding for over half an hour now, and it hadn’t dawned on them that the CIC and Trask were both standing watching them, annoyance and impatience starting to show on their faces as each second passed. There was a garble cry as one of the makeshift replacement panels didn’t fit properly and had to be re-cut.

“Ok just how long are they going to keep us standing here…my legs are getting sore...and chances are some lil’ hormone driven kid has swiped my gun magazine and is jerking off over that poster.”

“It’s a small sacrifice to pay… after all, you did get excellent combat data, both at long range and in that melee you had with Firewing on Vilant after you trashed the armoured security brigade.”

“True, but do these techno-geeks have to make sounds as if they are having a multiple orgasm over my armour??”

“Can’t be helped I’m afraid. They’re techno-mad. Every bit of technology we encounter or develop they protect and maintain it as if it were their own offspring…it’s a sad fact but its true.” The CIC stated. Trask retorted with a bleak remark that brought a chuckle from the CIC.

“That’s just plain sick…I’ve heard of cyber sex but that’s just taking it too far!”

The servitors turned round at the remark, jumping as they suddenly realised that their CIC and Trask were standing watching them. Trask laughed and lifted his armour parts and began to put them on, much to the upset mewling of the servitors. It was irritating but Trask had to stomach it for now until he was on the surface of Elysion.

“Ok so whadda ya got for me?”

Part 14: The Vanguard and the Spirits

Freefall. The beast had been speeding towards Laxton with haste when something very weak had struck it causing it to momentarialy lose its concentration. After transforming back, Firewing had been unconscious and falling towards the ground before the beast returned in one very pissed off mood. On the positive side, whatever had hit him would have no further effect on him at that level of power unless he was badly beaten up. Taking a moment to get it's bearings, the beast sped off towards Laxton once more intent on retrieving something important.

Meanwhile, unbeknownst to Andromeda, another person had felt the wave, but had been completly unaffected by it and just laughed at how weak it was. 'What the hell was that supposed to be anyway?' they thought, picking up their discarded weapons. 'My farts are worse than that.' They looked up to the sky in the direction that Firewing had headed off after their duel, shuddering at the possibilities that power that he had could have - or the problems it could cause in this age.

"Better make sure that things don't go out of control."

As they headed off after Firewing, things were becoming a little crazed in Laxton as the beast perched on top of the museum staring down at the gathered crowd. No-one knew what was going on and even the local police force had no clue what to do in this situation apart from call for some serious back-up. However, in this situation they could only watch as the beast lept down from the roof, turned and entered the museum.

Inside it walked straight past the astonished people towards the artifact exhibits, stopping briefly at each item as if being respectful. The armour of Kharn, the staff of Nighte and the last known picture of all five of the ancient heroes together being the main ones. When it reached the twin swords and the Vanguard belonging to Rydius, it stopped and gripped the hilt of each in turn...

While Foxxis was busy speaking to Skye, Tank and Vorpal, no-one had noticed the abnormality appearing in the stasis field around Rydius Scarwing. His fingers moved slightly before his fist clenched, sending sparks of power running through the entire corporation's system. The field was slowly beginning to weaken, but it was going to take a little longer before he could free himself. A slight smirk appeared, only noticable to those that looked close enough...

Back with Firewing, the moment that he had placed his hand on the hilt of the Vanguard while in beast form, the blade had shone out with a bright light (making even the sensors on the moon react to it), before the figure of a young woman appeared in midair, her modesty covered by swirling robes.

"It feels good to be able to move again after all those years. But I must admit, why have I been summoned?"

"To help me Sodine.

"Is that you Lord Rydius?"

"Not exactly. I split myself into two entitys during the long slumber. Right now I am controlling the man known as Firewing, but soon he'll be able to control the beast until we rejoin as one again. Can you and the other spirits keep watch over him and I?"

"I understand. I shall watch this man with the other spirits until the time you are completed."

With that, Sodine vanished and the beast left the museum and headed back towards the outskirts of town, sirens falling behind as the back-up requested finally arrived moments too late. It would be several hours before Firewing would regain his senses, finding himself in the alleyway next to the inn...

(OOC: Short, but once I know what the other characters are doing, I'll be able to do a lot more.)

Misato Anami has levelled up - (lv 1)
Misato's body ached with pain as she felt a thunder throughout her body. Putting her hand over her wound quickly, she looked up to see a figure pass her without any effort. A beast like form, Misato closed her eyes and tried to fight the thoughts that ran through her mind. She had to reach the Inn soon and she had to make sure that she could find Firewing.

It seemed a long and endless way to the inn as Misato continued. Her body seemed to go slower and slower with every step she took. She felt the wound tighten and her back ached from trying so hard to keep to pace.

"Where are you?" thought Misato as she finally reached the town. A few more parts of town she'd pass and she'd finally reach the inn. People had stopped and looked at her with fright as they saw the blood upon her body. She still was a foreigner, a person out of her time, a stranger to this world, however, they had heard of this 'stranger' and left Misato to be - a great kind of people, thought Misato as she continued on.

Ignoring the stares, the Inn was finally in her sights. Misato let a sigh of relief leave her body as she drew near. As she began her final strides towards the Inn, sprinkles of rain began to hit her forehead. Misato looked up at was now a grey and dark sky. Her body ached for rest, her mind sent her in every direction, and the pain from her wound was all she could concentrate on so that she wouldn't cry. Misato just wanted to see Rydius. She wanted the journey to be over. She didn't mind the fighting and the problems, as long as Rydius was there with her. Stopping before the Inn, Misato had fallen to her knees. She looked at the door, then her sights went to the sky once more.

"Why... why can't you just be here with me?" Asked Misato.

Putting her face in her hands, the lance fell to the ground next to her. Blood smeared along her face and dripped from her hands. The caked blood on her wound softened and streamed down her clothes. Her hair clung to her face and she didn't mind of how ghastly she appeared. Taking a deep breath, Misato was about to stand when she heard a noise from not far. Misato's head jerked up and she looked around, her eyes trailing along the front of the inn. As her mind wandered as to what could be near, Misato looked over at the alleyway. Her eyes widened...

Andromeda jumps rope with Freya - (lv 5)Andromeda jumps rope with Freya - (lv 5)Andromeda jumps rope with Freya - (lv 5)Andromeda jumps rope with Freya - (lv 5)
Andromeda was asleep again from whatever it was that wave had done. It drained her, once the pain had left only a blank emptiness came to her. She was ever more lost with what she was, all she knew was that she was becoming something against her own will. The control she had over her own body and actions were becoming limit to a few moments of time it seemed. As though someone else was pulling her strings, but she refused to believe that anyone was controlling what she was. Yet the truth was simple as the facts that lay in front of her.

Something was happening to her, things out of her own control whether she liked it or not. Whatever it was, the changes were giving her powers she had never known of and it all had something to do with this Pre-Legends era stuff. She could not be completely certain about much, but there were too many things happening to just be coincidence anymore. Especially her sudden interest in the era before the Legends, whatever that could be, it was the only truths she could see. All the myths and stories that were told to children to put them asleep had some rooting in the fairy tale Legends period. The Legends period was a myth many people believe and the fact that all the things happened on Elysion but carried over to Vilant is only proof of its impact on the people. They choose not to believe in something that they choose to wish to have real, a silly paradox that could not find truth.

Yet Andromeda began to question the myths themselves, how false could they be. They were fairy tales of great monsters, mystical powers and forces beyond anything natural. But could such things really have existed. She did not know, but science could not explain a lot about the period described to be the Legends era. They just did not know, much was lost she remembered from her classes. If such an important part of history had existed, should not something have survived to validate that which only stories could tell?

Such questions had always been asked, but without the answers or even a starting point the end could never be found. Andromeda knew she had to find that end if anything were to be resolved. The things happening to her had some purpose, she had to find out what it was. Though without a place to start she did not know where to begin.

She began to wake up, her eyes opening to find herself on the back of one of the animals. It seemed as the animals managed to lift her on to one of their backs and was taking her somewhere. She had no idea how long she was out or how far they had traveled. But it was clear she was much farther away than she had planned. Where was she now?

Her body still felt a little weak so she allowed the animal to continue to carry her for a while. She wondered where the animals were walking to, but at this point she did not really care one way or the other. It took her away from that ship, the place and forest, hopefully something better would come of this. Where ever they were taking her she did not care, she just hoped that there would be food. She could not remember the last time she ate and hunger pains were beginning to get unbearable.

In the distance she could see a town, it was not much but at least they would have food for her. Though how would see pay, she did not have anything on her to buy food. Would she now starve to death, it would only be another nail in her coffin. Hopefully there would be someone with enough charity in the town. She looked around as they started to come into the town. It seemed peaceful enough of a town.

She could see a few people staring at her, it was no wonder considering she was coming in on an animal. Her eyes scanned the town looking for something that would mean an inn or a restaurant, but she noticed blood on the ground. Large drops followed a line that led through the town. ”I wonder what happened?” She slid down off of the animal following the blood out of curiosity. With as much blood as she saw the person must be seriously injured. She continued to follow the blood through the street until she saw someone through two buildings. The person did not look good, could it be the person that was dripping the blood.

Andromeda rushed through the alley with the animals following her closing behind. It was a woman, she had several deep wounds that were bleeding profusely. The woman needed medical attention and even then it might not be enough. She wished that there was something that she could do for her, though she was not sure what. Andromeda squeezed her hand in frustration, but then her palmed glowed warmed. ”What the…” Without any thought she placed her hand on the woman surrounding in a soft glow. The wounds started to close up healing the woman. Before she realized it, it was all over and the woman was healed. Andromeda fell backwards sitting on the ground tired and uncertain completely as how she was able to do it.

“Ah…thank you.”

“Umm…sure.”
”Who are you?”

“My name is Andromeda. I was just passing through and saw you.” She stared at the ground trying to figure out what had happened. Though at the moment she did not really care, the woman was better now thanks to her, whatever it was. At that moment a woman came rushing out of the building in front of her and stopped.

“What happened to you? Misato what happened to you?” the woman asked.

“Tia…”

“She might need some rest.”

“Yes, I’ll take her up to her room.” Andromeda watched Tia helped up Misato and carrying her into the building. If the woman had a room inside then it must be a hotel or inn of some sort. She followed the two women into the building sitting down at the counter waiting for Tia to come back down. The minutes past and Tia returned back down meeting with Andromeda. “Excuse me, pets are not allowed in here.”

“Huh?” Andromeda said turning around noticing the animals that were sitting at her feet. She knelt down looking at the animals, “You cannot be inside here wait outside please.” The animals blinked at her and then turned walking outside turning around right outside building. “So weird…” she whispered.

“That is some thing you have with animals, especially wild ones.”

“Yeah, I guess…”

“But, thank you for helping Misato.”

“I’m just glad she is better now.”
”So you are a doctor?”

“No, I am…”

“You aren’t a doctor, what do you do then you must have some medical experience to be able to fix her heals.”

“No, I am actually just a…what’s the right word…I guess you would say a Lady of the Night.”

“A prostitute.”

“Well, I don’t prefer such a title.”

“But that is what you do.”

“Well…not anymore,” she said turning her head away. She was no longer that anymore, that had been thrown away. What little bit of a life she did have on Vilant was gone. This was her new home, this planet and she would have to find something new to do.

“Well I guess, either way you help Misato. Is there anything I can get you?”

“I am a little hungry.”

“I get you something to eat.”

“But I do not have any money.”

“Its on the house.”

“Thank you.”

”What am I going to do?” There was going to be no end to all of this for her. She had to find some place to find end this all. Everything was getting out of hand, she did not know who she was anymore. This had to end for her, she had to end it this could not continue on like this. ”I should have cut deeper…”

Trigon has levelled up - (lv 1)
(OOC: I got new plans... Please bear with me.)

Part 15: The Demon Awakes

While Firewing slept in the alleyway, not noticed by Misato or Andromeda due to being concealed behing crates and debris, a dark figure stalked along the streets of Laxton - the same dark figure that had not long fought him and felt the stirrings of power begin to shift, not only from Andromeda but from the one sealed within the building that the Corporation held him in. They needed to find someone quickly and thanks to the fact that they could 'sense' the 'ancient ones', they knew where to go and quickly.

The few people of Laxton that saw this figure stopped and stared for a brief moment before moving on their merry way, paying no heed to what buisness that they might have. Soon the figure arrived at a place called 'Tia's Bar' and stopped briefly, feeling the presence of two - nay - three strong powers within or near to its brick walls. 'This must be the place where the one called Misato is.' the figure thought to themselves before entering the building. As soon as the had done so, they noticed Andromeda and Tia next to each other and felt Andromeda's power once more - currently nothing more than a spark for some reason.

"Can I help you?"

The figure turned to see Tia standing up and walking over towards them. At the moment no-one could see the face of the figure due to the large cloak and hood that they wore, which suited the figure just fine. The figure was also glad that they had had the foresight to wear a facemask which muffled and distorted their voice so that no-one could tell their sex as well.

"I seek the one known as Misato Anami."

Tia was a little taken aback the the distorted voice from the hooded figure, but focused herself enough to enquire why they were looking for her.

'Unnn... What happened to me?'

Grasping for any sort of bar or pole to help himself up, the one called Firewing slowly began to awaken from what felt to him like a long slumber. The last thing he could remember clearly was fighting an unknown assailant in the forest near the ruined caverns and various bits and pieces after that. Maybe he just needed some rest? That may be it...

"So why are you looking for Misato?"

The figure grinned beneath the hood. Of course it made sense that no-one really remembered what happened to Misato nearly two millenia ago when she met Rydius near the broken bridge that day. Those two had bonded together and they wondered how she would take the news that they had brought.

"I have information for her considering a man. A man known as Rydius Scarwing."

A gasp was heard from the stairwell and they all turned to see Misato standing there with her hand covering her mouth at the words that had left the stranger's mouth. How could they know about him? She had to know what the stranger knew...

The monitors gave out their usual dull glow, several of which were showing the status on the stasis fields and the subject kept behind them. Small blips had been showing up within the field, but they had been ignored due to the people studying the subject getting excited over events taking place on Vilant and Elysion with the battle between Firewing and Trask high on the adjenda.

With these blips in the system the subject behind the stasis field began to stir, power being generated on it's right hand before lifting it, tearing the field apart and sending a flurry of fireballs into the monitors and the systems behind it causing the entire room to explode in a horrific explosion - one that rocked the very foundations of the building. Up in the higher levels, one man in particular was raging when the building shook.

"What the hell is going on?"

One of the subordinates looked at the raging form of Foxxis who had slammed his fist through his desk moments after the explosion tore through the basement levels. Details were still unknown as to why there had been an explosion, although there was now reports of several fires breaking out at various points in the building. This was just not their day at all...

"What do you know about Rydius?"

The stranger just smiled at this question, even if no-one could see them smile underneath the hood and faceplate. With a noise behind them, they turned to see Firewing stumble through the door, weariness apparent on his face. 'Must have been the transformations' the figure thought silently before speaking to Misato slowly and carefully.

"As you know very well, Rydius Scarwing fell after defeating Arkon in battle. But what you may not know is that prior to their duel, Arkon managed to cast a spell that sealed off parts of Rydius' power - namely the power of light and his beast form."

Tia, who had helped Firewing to a seat after seeing the state he was in, listened to the figure speak and without realising it, had spoken out loud about it being just a fairy tale.

"This is not a fairy tale but reality miss. Rydius defeated Arkon using only his dark power, but when he fell it began a chain of events that lay dormant up until now. If Rydius awakens at the moment without help from someone who knows him well, then the results could be catastrophic."

"But isn't he Rydius? After all, he looks exactly like him."

The figure noticed that Misato was pointing to Firewing, who was now drinking a cup of coffee while listening to the figures tale, having recognised that they were the one he had fought in the forest a few hours earlier...

"WHAT!"

"It appears that Rydius has awoken fully sir. But it looks like the data we had on him was incomplete."

"What do you mean by incomplete?"

"Well from what we got from the camera's before he.. ummm... blew them up, it appears that he is completly... unbalanced?"

"You mean pissed off."

"Exactly."

After they had been scrabbling for information on the cause of the explosion and fires, several of the security cameras had caught glimpses of a figure walking through the flames with two large protrusions behind them and it hadn't taken long for them to evacuate the building while that figure ripped through several floors at once. It seemed like he was heading for the roof. And to make matters worse, the news crews had arrived and were covering the mysterious explosions as their main news story..

"No. He isn't Rydius, but he is closely linked to him. I believe his name is..."

"Ridiusu."

Misato, Tia, Andromeda and the figure turned to face Firewing who had just spoken out loud for the first time since arriving back at the bar. Actually it was the first time he had revealed what his name was to anyone. A slight grin appeared on his face before his gaze switched from them to the television, a glare beginning to form before he stood up.

"This is Victoria Hewitt reporting for Channel 55 News. Just moments ago, a large explosion tore through the basement of the Corporation Headquarters here in Hemphill City. The building has been evacuated although rescue services are being hampered by secondary explosions on several floors. It's also reported that the police expect it to be sabotage on a grand scale, although its to early to tell yet... Wha the hell is that?"

"The hell is what?"

"That on the roof..."

As the view moved upwards to the object on the roof, Misato gasped. For standing there was a solitary figure in ancient armour with two large black wings staring at the people around him with firey blood red eyes. The stranger spoke once more.

"Dark Rydius..."

Misato Anami has levelled up - (lv 1)
Darkness encircled Misato as her body lay limp before the Inn. She started to feel as though she were going into a dreamlike state. Misato felt warm and soon wondered if she were dying. Her silver eyes closed as she lay there. Misato opened her eyes and saw the pale blue sky before her. The white clouds moved unusually fast today and Misato felt the wind raging against her body. Lifting her head up, Misato saw the green grass of the meadows and the forest she remembered all too well. Misato stood up and felt a shiver up her spine. Turning around, Misato watched on as Rydius stood there before Alucard, Nighte, Kharn, Alias, and Misato herself… proclaiming his love for her. Her breath stopped. Watching on, tears came to her eyes.

What felt like hours was only moments until a woman had discovered her and came to her aid. Misato’s eyes opened as her body still lay on the floor. Her body healed, Misato was still exhausted, as the woman who helped her appear. Misato looked but saw more blurred vision than anything for the moment.

“Thank you.”

“Umm…sure.”

Misato used her hands to push her upper body off the ground. “Who are you?”

“My name is Andromeda. I was just passing through and saw you.” Staring at the ground, Misato wanted to see if she was alright, but she then heard the door fly open and Tia running to help her.

“What happened to you? Misato what happened to you?” asked Tia.

Misato put her hand to her head as she tried to stand. “Tia…”

“She might need some rest.”

“Yes, I’ll take her up to her room.” Tia wrapped one of her arms around Misato’s waist and helped her up to her feet. Walking her into the Inn, everyone had stared at Misato, dry blood covered her clothing and even though she was healed, Misato looked utterly horrible. The exhaustion of her journey, the frustration that she was getting nowhere, it all began to weigh down on Misato as Tia helped Misato into her room.

“Tia… Thank you for helping me.” Said Misato as Tia brought her a change of clothes. Helping her change, Tia looked at her sadly.

“Misato… are you sure you’re ready for whatever happens? I mean… look what you’re putting yourself through… For what is somewhat vague to me, but all I’ve seen since you’ve been here is pain.”

“I can handle it Tia… if it’s for the person I love,” said Misato, looking up at Tia with a tired look on her face, “I’d even sacrifice myself..” Misato’s thoughts drove her to the time she was in the other realm and killed herself so that she’d find Rydius and break him from the tomb… Tia noticed by her eyes that her thoughts were elsewhere and thought it’d be best to leave her be.

“Well, get some rest and don’t run off. I’ll come back and see if you need anything.”

“Thanks again Tia.” Tia smiled and closed the door. Sighing, she left Misato alone as Misato laid her body down.

Closing her eyes, Misato’s thoughts wandered as they always did. Everyday it was the same thing, everyday it was the same meeting Rydius by the bridge, it was always the same vision of watching Rydius kill his father, the same embrace after saying “I love you,” the same kiss after Rydius’ proposal. “Is this how my life will be?” thought Misato as she felt her tears began to stream down her face onto the pillow. “Will I always be looking for you?”

Misato slept for a short bit until she felt something from downstairs. Waking up, Misato stretched to feel the soreness in her body. She didn’t hesitate to put her boots on, but put her blades in their holsters around her legs and wrapped a robe around her body and walked downstairs.

"I seek the one known as Misato Anami."

Misato paused at the end of the hall before the stairs as she heard her name. Taking soft steps, Misato held her hands to her legs in case something were to happen.

"So why are you looking for Misato?" Misato heard Tia say in defense. Misato paused at the stairs where no one really noticed her for the sheer seconds until she heard something that made her body stop.

"I have information for her considering a man. A man known as Rydius Scarwing."

Misato’s eyes widened and turned to a crimson red in utter shock. Her hand went to her mouth as Misato gasped. The cloaked figure turned towards her and Misato rushed to Tia’s side.

"What do you know about Rydius?" said Misato. Her stomach was in knots as she stared at the figure. A sound startled her as she watched Firewing stumble in the bar. Tia had rushed over to help him, but the figure turned back to Misato and spoke to her carefully.

"As you know very well, Rydius Scarwing fell after defeating Arkon in battle. But what you may not know is that prior to their duel, Arkon managed to cast a spell that sealed off parts of Rydius' power - namely the power of light and his beast form."

Misato, Tia, Andromeda and the figure turned to face Firewing who had just spoken out loud for the first time since arriving back at the bar. Misato looked at the television, then back to Firewing. Turning to the stranger, Misato grabbed his cloak. “What the hell is going on here?”

In a panic, Misato ran out the doors, Tia ran after her begging her to come back inside. Turning around, Misato’s robe came off, her shirt ripped in the back as she felt her wings protruding from her body. Tia gasped and stepped back for a moment.

“I’m sorry… I can’t keep it a secret anymore…”

The cloaked figure walked out and looked at Misato. Misato looked at the figure.

“I must go to him…” she said as her eyes began to glaze over.

Andromeda jumps rope with Freya - (lv 5)Andromeda jumps rope with Freya - (lv 5)Andromeda jumps rope with Freya - (lv 5)Andromeda jumps rope with Freya - (lv 5)
As the events unfolded Andromeda listened with a careful ear, but stared at her own food. These two seemed to know each other and this Rydius seemed important to Misato, in whatever manner that might be. Could it be love…such an emotion she had never experienced it was beyond her and she feared that it would be forever. There was definitely some deep connection between them that she envied, though she envied feelings period. In a strange sense she never felt that she had really felt anything, the world was so artificial as she her own body.

Flesh and blood made was her body it did not make her normal, the product of science made her as artificial as everything around her. What would it be that she would decide. All she could think about was a little she knew herself anymore. She always knew that there was difference, but the changes of recent turned everything she knew upside down processing to shake it afterwards.

Yet now, this figure goes on talking about some myth and fairy tale that does not seem possible. Although, Andromeda began to question even the myths and how possible they really could be. There standing at the other end of the room was a figure completely believing everything that most called fiction. She had been searching for something a
