Open battle at midgar ruins. 1 vs 1

[Itachi Uchiha]

a dark thick mist covered the ruins of midgar as sephiroth stood at the top of the shina corp. he was waiting but for what?

at random he blew up buildings with flare as still he waited for somethin to happen. he then stood as he saw some1 in the distance comin towards him but who......?

picking up his sword he got ready for battle as his unknown oppenent got closer to him, jumping from building to building.

he still thought to himself, who was it coming towards him?

Degra was in her Sokto form, as she leaped from building to building, in this strange new world. In her current form, she was still human, for the most part, but had more animal characterstics. She thought this world to be a very strange one, as she made her way through the city. Something wierd had happened within the shadow world, the Umbra, and she got thrown out in this damned place.

As she was moving, she grew aware of some power ahead of her. May as well have a little fun, she thought, and relieve some stress.

She put on an extra spurt of speed, charging towards her opponent. She switched from sprinting on all fours, to running on just her two legs, leaping from building to building until she finally snarled and leaped really high, using her Killer's Leap ability. As she leaped, she down a slow motion backflip, drawing out her twin axes as she fell back down, head first towards her opponent, aiming to land on him.

As soon as she got close enough, she suddenly twisted herself about in mid air, slashing with both her axes towards her opponent's face, and then landing lightly on her feet. "Nothing personal, but... I really don't like you," she said to her appointed opponent, with a smirk.

swiftly darting away from the strike sephiroth regained his balence, for now.

knowing that he was against some1 poerful he dashed head on at her with a volley of sword slashes thinkin he was faster. degra moved away with the blade strikes only slightly cutting her

"you might be fast my animal like friend, but i can move faster than u even now" sephiroth said as a evil grin crossed his face

OOC: You're new to RPing, aren't you? I'll give you a few pointers. First of all, you cannot control the actions of your opponent. This also means you cannot decide whether you hit your opponent with an attack, regardless of how little damage it inflicts. I'll ignore what you done with my character, and we'll continue.

IC: The man whom Degra had attacked moved away from her, so she didn't get a chance to hit him. Still, Degra was merely playing about, fighting for sport rather than to actually kill her opponent. She watched him with slight amusement as he turned back around to come and attack her.

She stepped back a couple of paces, ducking and dodging her opponent's attacks easilly. She smiled at him as he went to make his last slashing attack. She suddenly leaped up, aiming a spinning kick at her opponent's weapon, planning to disarm him, or at least knock his weapon aside to leave him vulnerable enough for her to get at him, which would only take a split second. As soon as her feet touched the floor, she pushed herself at the man, launching an aggressive barrage of attacks at her opponent, using both axes.

Ten slashes in all, most of which were aimed for her opponent's chest and face, with a few aimed at his legs and stomach. All the while, she kept that smirk on her face. "Come on, you're gonna have to do better than this," she said.

holding his ground, he attempted to block most of degras axe blows.

pulling back after being cut along his face and on his coat, he cried out in rage and began firing magic at degra. as the smoke of the flare spell faded he darted in for his next attack.

Both using his sword and a fire spell, his sword lit up in rageing flames and started another volley of well aimed slashs.

" i won't miss this time you mortal" he said as his attack begun

Degra growled in satisfaction as her opponent screamed in anger. But, her eyes widened suddenly, as her opponent seemed to have performed some high level magic, in the form of a great ball of fire. However, she was equal to that, and she leaped up out of harm's way. She felt the heat from the blast, and she didn't relish the thought of being hit by that.

While she was still in the air, she looked down at her opponent and let out an almighty roar. As she did so, she had formed a ball of fire in her mouth, and she spat it out, sending it flying down towards her opponent at an alarming speed.

The ball of fire would explode as soon as it came into contact with something solid, creating a large cloud of dust, obscuring her opponent. Of course, if the ball of flame came into contact with this man, then it would seriously hurt him, if not kill him.

As soon as Degra landed on the floor, she stood in a defensive stance, awaiting to see what had become of her opponent, and see if he was still fighting fit. She brought her axes up, ready to parry any attacks. Also, as an extra precaution, the weretiger made use of her skin of jade ability. Her skin began to take on more of a stoney quality. Using this ability would really limit Degra's speed, to move and even to dodge, but the extra defense more than compensated for that.

Using this ability, she could withstand a lot more damage, and should her opponent charge at her to attack, she wouldn't be harmed as any normal person would.

However, as soon as her opponent made his move, Degra would cancel the ability in order to make a speedy counter attack, if the opportunity arisen.

seeing that degra had turned to stone he halt his attack and changed it. his once flaming sword had now gone back to normal as he judge his oppenents new form.

thinking to himself he knew degra wouldn't be able to move as fast. using all his speed and strength he lauch one almighty slash that he hoped wud shatter the stone form
