Zach v. Camas - Page 2

Camas watched as the barrage of projectiles came at him. He managed to dodge the rings then came the stars... He was hit by many of them, he fought against it but then fell under the power of the stars falling on him. He fell face first in the water, Unconsious, he came too high in the air, it felt like something was crushing him and he looked into Zack's eyes. He could see the fierceness in them but he felt that Zack didnt want to kill him. He had no idea what to do, and as his last resort, he grabbed his last dagger and went to stab Zack in the face, Saying "Im sorry", as he did. Camas throughout the battle had gained respect for this man they called Zack

He twisted the dagger around, alsmost breaking his hand while avoiding it and throwing it to the ground. "Why would you want to do this to someone?" He asked his eyes searching. He stopped crushing him but still held him up. He then put his hand into his belt and pulled out a com device. He pressed a button and spoke. "Hi, theres a realy exhausted guy here, he looks like he's in bad shae, could you send an air ambulance please? I'll send the location." He hung up. The man wasnt really that bad, so he spoke a Forbidden word and drained him of 3/4 of his energy. "Guess you'll have to find me some other time" He released him onto some dry-land and smiled. "Bye" he said and flew slowly upwards then Sonic Shifted into the sky.

Camas layed on the ground and watched as Zack flew away. Why would he spare him like that? What was going to happen to him now? He was going to have to find him. What would happen to him if he came back to the man empty handed. Drained of energy and dispaired Camas rested on the ground waiting and passed out...

The Air Ambulance landed and he was rushed to a hospital. There was no serious afflictions, just near complete exhaustion. "Ah well, this patient seems to be recovering quite well. Nurse coud you pass me that- ah thank you." He injected him with an awakening shot and began to explain his situation.

When Camas awoke the doctor was standing above him. He looked around real quick, trying to figure out where he was. "You seem to be ok, we were afraid you were worse off than you seem to be. The area we found you in was in terrible shape, what happened there?" Camas thought back to his battle with Zack, he didnt want disclose much information to the doctor... Who knew who the doctor might know, his failure could not get back to the man who sent him after Zack. "My friend Zack, is he ok?" he lied, hoping to get some more information. "No one else was found there sir." "No he called the ambulance for me, has he been here, or does anyone know where he ended up? He may have been hurt too." Camas hoped the lie was believable.

The doctor frowned. "Well i'll check, anyway, you should be able to leave very soon. Your wounds have been treted and your energy has been restored, I'll go do the paper work" He then left he man alone and wandered off. Zach opened his eyes having seen everything from the doctors eyes. 'He's going to come after me again isnt he', he thought and shuddered from a cold breeze. He was back at the battleground medatating.

Camas layed there, waiting for the doctor to come back. He looked outside and noticed it was almost night. He knew it was night when he had fought Zack. The nurse walked in and said "Well its nice to see your finally awake. Everyone said you werent hurt to bad, but it took a while to restore your energy." Camas wondered to himself how long he had been there. "How many days have I been out?" "Its been about a week, is there something you need?"
Camas noticed that she seemed nervous, what did they already know about him? What had Zack done... "Well my friend Zack called the ambulance for me, I want to make sure he is ok, has he been here? What did he tell the dispatchers?" As he finished his question the doctor came in, "Well the paper work is finished Camas, you can leave now." he said with a tone of finality in his voice. "I will leave in a second I was just having a conversation with the nurse." Camas said. The doctor walked out leaving them alone again.

Zach was floaating over the sea, calling to the Ondines below him, silently. His thoughts went to those of his friends who were so far away now. He then thought of Camas, just then, a peculiar thing happened. He accidently shifted towards him. Just as he was about to go into the complex he stopped himself and floated outside his window. That had never happened before. He saw throught the window that he was talking to a nurse, she looked nervous.

Camas was in a deep conversation with the nurse, she had told him that a man Zack, indeed had called and told them that there had been a training accident. No wonder everyone seemed nervous about it. Oh well, this gave Camas an even better idea... maybe Zack could train him to be able to harness such power... Then he noticed a shadow on the wall, he turned quickly and saw Zack outside the window... "Zack!" He called out. Zack stayed at the window, Camas was not sure why he stayed. He cautiously walked to the window, he raised his hands so Zack knew he was unarmed. "Im opening the window!" he opened the window and gestured for Zack to come into the room.

He narrowed his eyes and searched his mind. He was telling the truth. Unfortunately the nurse was not used to floating men and feinted. "Oops. Ermm, what do you want?" he asked and shifted him onto the floor outside the hospital with him.

"We have to talk. Why would you spare my life like that? How did you become so powerful? No one seemed to know of your powers, at least not my informants. And then I cant go back home without proof of your death, but not only do I not think myself physically capable of that, I cant do it now. You had the chance to kill me and didnt, I was hoping maybe you could teach me to be powerful like you. If I swear on life that I will never try to kill you. Please?" Camas eyed the man wondering what Zack saw when he looked into his mind.

He touched Camas's forehead and shifted to the elemental plane which existed in all worlds. He let go and the world around them looked grey and foreboding. "Hmm, i'll have to test you, but first you have to look deep into yourself and see who you really are and where your really from." He then disappeared and left Camas alone to search. 'Call to me with your mind if you need me'

Camas was overwhelmed by the change to this plane. He had never been sure if they ever really existed. His father had seemed to always believe in them and Camas now knew he had been right. He began to walk searching the area around him... He came to an area where there stood a volcanoe among some large mountains, which he had no plans on trying to cross. He also saw a huge lake, He went to the shore of the lake and sat to think about his next choice. He wondered how many times Zack had been here, he surely harnessed the powers of water. Looking to the mountains he could swear he saw someone there, but that was of no matter to him, his eye had been caught by a forest in the gap of the mountains. His father had always loved nature, and who knew what could be here. Maybe this was like heaven, so he stood up and began to trek towards the forest. He got to the edge of the forest and stood there awe struck... it was the prettiest forest he had ever seen. "Arent you going to come in Camas... We've been waiting for you for ages..." Puzzled by this remark and quite frightened, Camas carefully began to walk into the forest. He did not recognize the voice, and he was not sure who we was, but Zack had left him here, and he was sure Zack wouldnt want him dead so he continued to walk through the forest. After about a mile or so, he made it to a clearing in the forest, it seemed eerie to him that only one huge tree stood in the center of this clearing. Suddenly Camas' Staff, began to vibrate, Camas dropped it in suprise, why was it doing this? He picked it back up, his father had givin it to him, he could not just leave it. "What are you waiting for Camas, come to us." The same voice from the front of the forest again... He started to walk to the tree, not sure but he figured thats where the voice was coming from.

Azre, Zach's Siren wolf spirit, returned from his plane shifting and told Zach of what had happnened to Camas. I'll go get him, he'll need his Chaos item. He then shifted into the elemental plane and searched for Camas with his mind. He had advanced to the Nature World. He was the Nature Elemental. He shifted to him and saw his staff vibrating. 'That must be his Chaos item's hiding place. He gestured to it and on its top it grew a lotus flower that was bright light green. It glowed more and shone brightly towards Camas.

Zack appeared just as Camas was heading towards the tree. He gestured at his staff and a lotus flower appeared on it. Camas perplexed, stared at his staff. He looked at Zack, "What did you do to my staff! My father gave me this. Its the only thing I have left of him." A tear rolled down his cheek as he wondered what he could do to fix it, "I didnt expect t you to come, I didnt call you, why are you here? What is the voice I've been hearing... Is this some kind of trap?" He hadnt thought it would be but, now it seemed like something bad was happening, the appearance of the flower had made his staff vibrate harder and it began to glow a deep green color.He looked to Zack questioningly.
