One of my most favorite bands of all time.I like that they are still around,but they will never be the same without Layne Staley. Anyways,what are some of your favorite songs/albums that they do?Do you prefer the original AIC or the new AIC?My favorite album is their self-titled final album "Alice In Chains".As far as songs go,they are as follows

I definitely prefer the Layne Staley era AIC, some of the harmonies were just unbelievable with him and Cantrell singing. My favourite album would be Dirt and favourite song? Either Junkhead or Would?.

I prefer old school AIC, but I really like some of the new stuff. The new vocalist has the same general sound as Layne, but still manages to do his own thing.

I love the original AIC lineup, but I saw the revamped lineup back in 2007 (with Velvet Revolver!), and they put on a damn good show regardless.

Woah! I was just listening to these guys when I saw this thread! Holy shit, that's kind of scary.

My favourite song is - easily - Them Bones. I loved how this made an appearance in GTA: San Andreas.

I love love loooove AiC! I miss Layne and wish he wasn't dead. I was very... skeptical about the new AiC album but I like it alright. It isn't the same as when Layne was singing with them but I think he would be proud of the band's efforts. Or at least I hope so.
I have too many favorite songs to list them all but Nutshell was the first song I heard that got me into them. I got that album (Jar of Flies) and everyone after that.
