Their music is aimed towards combining a punch in your face sound with uplifting melodies to create an aggressive, yet emotional feel. "The Phone is Such a Blunt Object" showcases a few of the diverse styles that Odd Project has in their arsenal. With the blistering screams right from the get go, the emotionally driven melodic singing, the metal crushing riffs and a southern rock breakdown for comfort, these guys prove that they are nothing typical. "Not one person in the band writes all the material", states Greg. "We all listen to different music; that's where our diversity stems from." On a softer note, tracks like "The Wanderer" and "Love" express the complete opposite with an orchestral feel and guitar work similar to all the classics, it is just another representation of just how amazingly talented these guys are. Look for them to be in a town near you and pick up their new album today!
I just want to know if any of you have heard of them their music is great and the "A Perfect Smile And Broken Wings" is a hell of song love the freaking lyrics. |
