Dream Theater anyone?

I've just bought the new Dream Theater - Score Dvd....

It's amazing, I don't know why but to me the quality of the Dvd looks really, really good.

Anyway, are there any Dream Theater fans out there?

Yeah, I'm into Dream Theater. Mostly their latest CD. I like them because of the music they make, not because I consider them to be "complete godly human beings." Sure, they're good musicians, but I don't like the overhype that comes with them. It can be kind of annoying.

I love Six Degrees Of Inner Turbulance and Falling Into Infinity.

I think there so well known because they are all good musicians in what they do. That's why they get so many fans.

Ahhh, Dream Theater. Very good band. James Labrie is totally hot. I mean in the voice way. I would trade in my left nut for a voice like his. And I would trace in my right hand for a left nut.

Annnnnyway. Yeah, I like "The Mirror"... hell, I like all of the tracks -- just to be awkward, har har. James Labrie also has some good music outside of Dream Theater, too.

Ah, I fucking love Dream Theater. My dad got me into them by accident... someone on a board he goes to told him they were like the band Yes, but very metal... he went out and bought Train of Thought, hated it, and gave it to me. Long story short, I WORSHIP John Petrucci. If you've ever seen him pull off some of those crazy solos live, you can't help but be completely awestruck.

Anyway, John Petrucci is impressive, but I feel James Labrie beats him anyday. I guess this is because I appreciate good, strong male vocals.

James LaBrie is pretty impressive... but he loses major points from trying to rap on This Dying Soul and Honor Thy Father .

Haha, that's funny. I really don't think they're much like Yes, though I know they're influenced by them to a certain degree.

They're a good band. Its nice to see modern progressive bands. They're still no Yes, though.

Agreed thoroughly. John Petrucci and Steve Howe are both virtuosos, but Alan White could eat Portnoy alive drumming-wise... and Jon Anderson's voice is a marvel to behold.

I feel that Yes blows them out of the water in a lot of other aspects, too.

Dream Theatre is a good band, but Yes almost single-handedly changed the way I listen to music.

Please ell me this is a joke. He definately sounds better in songs like The Mirror, Space-Dye Vest and 6:00.

And outside of Dream Theater; Invisable and Alone.

Six Degrees Of Inner Turbulance is think is their work, I love the how they progress like a melodic song into a metal lick or visa versa. Although, their are song I love which are either just melodic or metal like Trial of Tears and A Fortune In Lies.
