This thread will be where people of the forums can place down some awesome super cool band suggestions. I was going to make a thread about a specific band, but i figured this would conserve space and possibly be good for people looking for new music. Anyway... I'm the rock n' roll alternative kind of guy, so my first suggestion will be...
Jon Spencer Blues Explosion Super good rock band. The guitar work is mostly based on blues scales. Muse I'm sure this is one i dont have to tell you about... If you haven't heard Black Holes and Revelations (new album)... you need to. Especially if your a fan of Absolution (old album) The Smoking Popes Some of the songs these guys write contain some of the best lyrics i have ever heard. They pretty much fit the defination of alt rock to a point.
