I wasn't sure exactly where to put this, if it was more of a word games thing, or if it fit more into the music thing.. I decided music.

Also, there will be a couple rules (not harsh, but should help to keep the thread out of "spam"-levels)

-Firstly, Just a short lyric or two. It can be as short as a sentance, or it can be 4-10 lines long.. Just no full songs.
-Explain WHY you like the specific lyrics, i.e. are they meaningful to you, or do you like how they were worded?
-List the song they are from, and the artist.
-Also.. this isn't for flaming other bands, so leave that out, if possible..

My signature is probably one of my most favorite lyrics:

I chose this one because I know exactly how it feels to be "land-locked" and be craving to just be at the ocean, with the one I love. I kinda took the lyric out of context however, But it was probably one of the strangest feelings to see someone else felt exactly as I do..

'In the pouring rain, nothing is the same!' - Opeth ~ The Moor (I think but its definatly off Still Life) ~ Not only did I use to be a huge fan of Opeth but this particular song was playing when it was pouring down with rain and I lost my virginity (not particulary something I would mention but you asked)

"Run out of time, forcing me down, deep into pain" ~ Dawn is probably one of my favourite bands of all time even though they've released less than twisted Sister. This peice kind of sticks out to me as it gives me a feeling of Nostalgia from everytime things have turned bad cause I didn't do it in time. Practically anything from Dawn draws me.

Ensiferum is another great band I have been listening to lately, all their songs have a deep feeling to it, this is just an example.

Well I actually have a lot but I'll just point out my favourites. And I like these because they have a meaning for me and it shows how sometimes I feel, not just because I like them.

I like this sentence (or two) because it shows how some people actually feel. I mean I think that it actually means that when everything goes wrong and you feel like you cant take it any longer, you just... hate to be alive you know? Like, when the world is agaisnt you and it just feels wrong you dont want to exist and there is when it comes Yeah you bleed just to know you're alive. It is very sad but it is my favourite.

I like because it is right. I mean when you feel all wrong and everything you feel is just pain and that pain was caused by something in the past that lasted for a very long time it becomes a memory and time cannot erase it no matter what. I guess that it is because that memory was there for such a long time and you get used to it, with the time you try to forget but was so long that you actually cant forget.

I cant write the sentences that I like from these songs because I like the full song of the three of them and I dont want to write the whole thing because it is against the rules. I like the lyrics from the song Untitled because it shows how I feel almost the whole time (yeah, I've thought about suicide in case you were wondering that) and even thought it is really sad it really connects a little with my life, it makes me sad indeed, but I just love the song with all my freaking heart. I like the song Welcome to my life because it makes me laugh a lot, I mean, even my friends say it "Im sure you say yes to every single thing that they say in that song right?" and it is true, In my head Im saying Yes, Yes, Yes I just like it also because it connects with me a lot. I like the song Perfect because I used to have problems with my parents and I still have but rarely, so it also conencts, that is why I <3 Simple Plan

This song has always gave me chills cause it's about the last living man on earth drowning and I feel it has a lot of feeling into it.

basically the whole song... but the line of the chorus just neary reduced me to tears the first time i heard it...

it just encompassed my whole life at that point in time in those 15 or so words. No-one gave a shite about me so in return i didn't give a shite about anyone else and no-one could ever tell me what to do cos i lived my life my way not the way everyone else wanted me to or told me to. Theres too much meaning behind that song for me that i can't write it all...
