Same with me. Mr Brightside made me buy their Cd. But I didn't actually buy the first Hot Fuss. I bought the limited edition one.

I liked Smile Like You Mean it; that was why I bought the original Hot Fuss, and went to see them at the Garage in Glasgow. It was a great gig. I love the song, i'd say it was my favourite, actually.

Glamorous Indie Rock N' Roll, Jenny Was A Friend of Mine and, surprise surprise, Mr Brightside are my other favourite songs.

I haven't heard of Under The Gun or Surprise Surprise, but then again i've only got the album, no singles, and have never been to any of their shows.

I like Jenny Was A Friend of Mine the best, because it's a bit rockier, with that catchy bassline and keyboard. I like Brandon's voice in that song too, it fits in well with the turnings of the music.

honestly it was the Jacques Lu Cont's Thin White Duke mix of mr. brightside that got me into them. i think it's 1,000,000 times better than the album version. you should check it out on the iTunes music store - it's breathtakingly beautiful (if not REALLY REALLY 80's hehe).

i like the killers, they have a massive synth sound, i recognize.
