I loved relient k fo sooo long!
Their songs are just fast and catchy
and I love how they add harmonies to
their singing.
Their Christmas album is funny ^^

I can vouch for Five Iron Frenzy (they were possibly the best ska band ever; one of my favorite bands period, too) Relient K (a kind of alternative rock that you might call "pop punk") and Pillar (rap rock). DC Talk is cool too, I suppose. Hawk Nelson is a pop punk band, right? Thousand Foot Krutch, my friends like. POD did that one song "We're gonna rock the party all night long!" and "We are we are! The youth of the nation!" or whatever. The others, I don't know.

I like Switchfoot a lot too, now. I didn't like them when I first heard their first album, but they've grown on me a lot since then.

Don't forget Brave Saint Saturn (FIF's side project; "space rock") and I suppose Roper (keyboard rock; although Roper honestly isn't as good). Insyderz were pretty cool, too. The OC Supertones were okay.

I also like Hangnail and Philmore (pop punk bands.) Don't forget MxPx, either. Or Joy Electric, Fold Zandura, Mortal, House of Wires, or The Echoing Green (electronica) or Argyle Park (industrial.) Anyhoo... that's enough for today.

Thousand Foot Krutch baby!!!!!!!!!!

One of the best freakin bands ever! I adore their music. They are just so...rockin. Phenomenom is a miracle of an album... Set it off is a bit too rappy, but great regardless. Art of Breaking is a success in an itself.

Excellent band. Check them out.

"Hold on, wait a minute. Know whats going on when Krutch is in it"

Let's not forget about The OC Supertones, Squad 5-0, GRITS, Verbs, John Reuben, DJ Maj, and Pedro the Lion!

Five Iron laid down some really good music before they split. Roper pisses me off, because it isn't half as good. And it's a really bad trend in the ska scene to drop your horns and pick up a keyboard. The Aquabats have done some good stuff with it, but they are not Christian and that is for another discussion.

Daniel used to be all about Christian music. Daniel used to be all about Christianity, even. When the Christianity kind of left, the music kind of did too. But not all of it.

Oh, hey. If you're all Christian and stuff and live near Illinois or Florida, google the word Cornerstone. Cornerstone is this 2 or 3 day event of nothing but Christian music. They play some really good stuff, and it's only like 40 bucks for a two day ticket.

I mentioned OC Supertones Pedro the Lion is cool, and so is Squad 5-0. I might have to look into the others, too.

Yeah, Roper is kinda lame. I like some of their stuff oksy, but I haven't been into it as much as I was into FIF. I'm wondering when Roper's next album will come out. However, FIF didn't really "drop their horn section," as per they split, and then Reese formed Roper with other people. Like two brothers from Ace Trouble Shooter, or something? (they're kinda cool, what I've heard of them. I haven't heard much, though.) Anyhoo... didn't the Aquabats start out with an all-morman group, though, or something?

I've heard much about this "Cornerstone." Isn't it the biggest Christian Music festival, or is that Creation Fest?

Anyhoo, it's not like I love every band I mentioned. In my initial post, in that first paragraph, I only really listen to those first three bands that I mentioned. But hey; WorshipDepraved, you can have a different opinion from me. It's just that when you make really strong statement and don't back it, that's negative against something I really like, I'm going to call you on it. So you may risk the chance of moderators deleting both our posts

Wuv, Yer Mom

Oh yeah. Back in the day, Blenderhead was pretty cool, too.

I used to be into Christian music, but haven't really in the past few years. I've still got some CDs, though. Switchfoot, Newsboys, FFH, SonicFlood, Skillet, DC Talk, Audio Adrenaline. Good stuff.

There's a Christian music fest in Oshkosh, Wisconsin that I went to a few years back ... can't remember the name of it, though. It was a good time.
