Hawthorne Heights
so.. i've been listening to them a lot more than what i usally do.
and well, i like them a lot. however, am i the only one that thinks that they could do so much better without the guy with the deep voice, that screams (if thats waht you call that.. =/ ) cos yeah.. the way he sings/screams like that.. it just sounds retarded to me.. am i the only one that thinks this? |

Well, I'd be lying if I said they hadn't had an impact on me. I do like them, soughta. There are alot of people who hate them right now, probably because they are getting so famous lately. Oh well, I love like two of their songs. Speeding the octaves!

 ****.... i've liked them for years.. could've been liked more without the guy with the weirdo voice.. but all the same.. i've liked them for ages.. and now thats gonna be ruined... :'( |

and.. i dont care if they get popular.. just as long as they keep their music good.. a lot of the time, if a band gets popular, their music starts to change for the worse... |

horrible
horrible horrible i cannot stand this band at all, there generic, untalented and just ridicoulous. the screamer cant scream, they have no need for 3 guitars, the singer just plays root chords of the rythym. just i cannot stand them, the singer looks awkward and uncomfortable as hell when he plays. just seeing this band get notority for what there doing pisses me the **** off.. no wonder ppl bash on "emo".

hawthorn heights is named after an area around where they're from - and i'm from: dayton, oh. i still live here - and we all hate them.
in fact, there's even an organization of daytonians against hawthorne heights dirtying our town's usually spotless rock and roll record - guided by voices, the breeders, brainiac - HH may wish to be added to this list, but they're just one in an endless rabble of shitcore polluting a crumbling pop rock market.
