Dredg

I am totally ashamed at myself for not having checked this band out sooner, I always avoided them because I thought it would be some shitty "indie" because that was the general musical taste of the ATOS guys, and I heard of them because of them.

So yeah, amazing band. Everyone should check them out, they are kind of "Progish" and have one hell of an emotional vocalist. I can't really describe them aside from "Poppish Prog. Rock."

Check out Catch Without Arms, their newest album, that was my first, and I feel the easiest to listen to. Man, just think about how much I would have liked them had I not just now listened to them two days ago.

The Sailing is a n00b - (lv 0)
Yeah, the bassist of my band was all about Dredg for awhile. I think they're okay (all I've heard is the album "Leitmotif"), but I think their lead singer is a bit much at times. Like, way too over-melodramatic. They're ****in' weird too. Like, I can't really classify them exactly...a little metal, a little prog, and I'm sorry, but, a little emo (mainly 'cause of the dude's voice).

Ya know what? They remind me of Apex Theory, but a lot better. Anyone remember them? They're one-hit wonders from, like, 1999 or 2000 or something. Nu-metal, but smarter.....but, Dredg isn't nu-metal...I dunno...listen to 'em for yourself if you're interested! I'm too stupid to describe them...
