Anyone here into Black Metal like I am? What are your favorite bands? I'm looking for more bands to fill my new MP3 player up. =P I mean REAL Black Metal. Stuff that sounds like. Darkthrone (of course) Marduk Mork Skog Naglfar Siebenburgen Carpathian Forest Etc. | ||||||||

364 | Darkthrone, 1349, Marduk (Only a few albums. They started off AMAZING and then went rubbish) Immortal (Despite being the dumbest looking set of ****s EVER, they made great black metal) Emperor, and a lot more. Cant wait for the new Darkthrone. | ||||||||

2,891 | I like mostly symphonic Black Metal, such as Old Man's Child, Embraced, Nargaroth, Dimmu Borgir, Gehenna, Woods of Ypres, and Anorexia Nervosa. Some of the truer stuff like Mayhem and Dark Funeral gets repetitive real quick.

3,090  | I haven't heard Dark Funeral yet but I have The Project Hate albums. Personally I think joke metal ruins it, its good for a laugh but it makes people not take our music seriously. I have all darkthrone releases on SLSK except their demos, great stuff, would have to say Panzerfaust is my personal favourite but I enjoy Transivanian hunger album a lot. Dawn is 1 off my all time greatest bands I enjoy.

5,329 | I have the new Dark Funeral album "Attera Totus Sanctus" its fucking good. My favourite Darkthrone song is "Transylvanian Hunger" I've not heard Sardonic Wrath yet.

2,891 | The only Dew Scented tracks I've heard were Inwards Ube and a cover of some Slayer song. It was nothing impressive I recall.

3,090 | hah yeah I am more into raw/depressive stuff. Anybody here like Nifelheim (yes another band that is also a name on the FF series) at first I thought they were just a Marduk/Black Witchery clone but they are fairly good, I will have to check out their other stuff.
