WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN ALL MY... years..? >_> - Well, I don't have much of a choice now, really. I just stick with what they give me. But anything technology-wise, I like.
I like clam. But there aren't many of them where I live. Actually, I might be in one of the top five states with the worst seafood "population."
Of course they can. Paper cuts are lethal, you know. And also, words hurt, don't they? ;]
Heh-heh, that's just like me. I loved dinosaurs as a kid. I was so excited seeing Jurassic Park, but there's a reason it' rated PG-13: a lot of blood and stuff. I freaked out after seeing those scenes where the T-Rex bites off half of somebody's body. But watching it now when I'm not scared anymore, the movies are really good, with a great plot.
I don't think anybody uses them. I mean, if you look on T.V. commercials, you see text messages like "Me too, lol." But now that I experience forum life, mostly (not all) only newbies use lol with some other un-capitalized words to say something...
Haha. I don't have to handle making food. I have a mom for that. =P But those chicken feet... I saw them in a store once and I thought, "People eat this crap!?"
I heard that one out of every thousand or so are born blue. They're extremely rare. I don't think people want dare to eat something that rare. But I presume it'd stay blue even if you cook it up. I wonder if they turn orange when they mature, though?
I feel bad for the people allergic to MSG. A ton of snacks and food have them. They'd have to cut back on over half the food that they want to eat. Of course, I've only heard of MSG allergies; I've never actually seen someone with it. But then again, how would I know? >.>
I heard that, too. But my imagination lacks some stuff. It'd be interesting, though. Plus, it's quite active, so I'm sure I'd have fun. I might take RPing into consideration sometime. - I SEE IT NOW! ="O_O"= But I will not leave it behind.
Well, uh, I'm not in college as you can tell. =D I'd be one genius of a thirteen-year-old if I were in college. =D
You can eat clam chowder with crackers? Wait, first, what is clam chowder, anyway? It sounds liquid-y, so how do you put that on a cracker? Do you dip it?
YOu can catch a disease form roasting a chicken too much with radiation? O_o Geez, what a violent world this is. Everything can kill you, can't they? Knives, guns, spoons, forks... pencils, markers... electrical cords, books.
I thought the fish was supposed to be filleted, but that thing was just put on the plate. It was the true definition of the word "raw." Though, I wouldn't dare to eat that kind of raw.
Ahahaha! That video is hilarious! Especially the pterodactyl that says the "Ahem. Hiiiiiii." Hahaha. I think that's the one, because that was the only one I saw again on T.V. I remember it.
But LOL has lost its original meaning. Instead of saying lol every time you hear something funny, you use lol when you have no comments to make or nothing to say. It just makes the other person think that you're laughing. Sometimes, I see people use lol for the UN-FUNNIEST things!
Ugh. I can't bear to look at ground pork or ground beef. They look like little brains. But the patty looks good.
I can't look at chicken feet with a straight face, either. I wonder how it looks cooked... I found it... Eww...
I want to try the blue Atlantic lobsters. Their colors look more interesting. =D But you know how sometimes colored things are more... dangerous? I fear that I might get sick if I eat a lobster before it turns orange. O_o
MSG is in every thing now. I mean, I look on the back of a Lay's potato chip bag and what do I see in the middle? Monosodium Glutamate. It's also in ranch, ketchup, chicken broth, Progresso soup, and a whole bunch of other things. Is it really not that poisonous?
I am bad at RPing. I don't have a creative enough imagination, I don't think. - WHICH PARAGRAPH ARE YOU REFERRING TO? THE LAST ONE, I PRESUME?
Whoo, I'm back at school, too. I have it much easier than you, though. =D Are you in college? - Riki! I haven't talked to you in a while.
How are you? - Really? You put string cheese in your potatoes? I've never had potato soup. In fact, I've never even heard of such a thing until now. =P Is it bad like tomato soup? I can't stand that stuff.
How fast is that rotisserie thing? That thing in the infomercial only took about half an hour, which is pretty amazing. And it cooks anything, not just chicken. Too bad I can't remember the name.
Haha. That reminded me of a video I saw on AFV. Some people went to eat sushi, but the cook left the fish UNDEAD, as in NOT DEAD YET. Just as they were about to put their forks in, the fish wriggled around!
I can't remember. It was the one where I rich British family was vacationing on a remote island, where the little daughter wandered off into the forest and saw a little dinosaur, which she fed roast beef to. Then, a whole pack of them came and bit her. Komodo dragons can shrink?
I think some words got changed far too much. Like how in the old times, "ass" meant a donkey, but now, people would just laugh if they heard it used that way. Some words are way overused. "Gay" no longer means happy, and so forth. Pretty soon, they'd better start making new words! I saw a Mad TV episode once where they introduced the verb LOL into Webster's dictionary. =P
I like the rolls more, though. They're easier to pick up. And they stick more. The fish keeps falling off on the other one. Ah, they are, aren't they? They have a tiny island surrounded by water.
Wait, lobsters are better in the Atlantic, right? So the eastern coast would have the cheap, delicious ones? Speaking of which, you heard about the sinking of California, right? Is it really happening?
Monosodium glutamate, or MSG, is a substance that the Japanese, I believe, created to enhance the taste of food. However, is it highly poisonous, so too much of it would not be good for you at all. Almost all Asian cooking uses MSG, really.
We have purged the VM curse! Yay for us! - Cheese in your potatoes? Potatoes have cheese in them? My mom made mashed potatoes once from the box, but that was... not completely a success. It was so bland, even with some gravy.
It is possible to cook a chicken in something besides an oven. I saw an infomercial once for some sort of ultra cooker that can cook anything. They just stuck the whole turkey in there to cook in far less time than it took for the oven to cook it.
See, my teacher made a point about that. She asked why humans can bear to eat the ugly animals like cows and such but not cute ones. It's like if we eat them, we threaten to endanger them, resulting in a less cute environment. Still, there are some people - hunters - who eat rabbits. My sister loves rabbits, and when she was about to eat rabbit, she felt so sad. However, she was responsible for eating nearly half the pan! I didn't get to eat a single piece.
I do wonder what could be on some of those stranded islands. Maybe they are like Jurassic Park, with all the little dinosaurs biting you when you try to give them roast beef and stuff.
Does it really translate to "fat-arses?" I find that difficult to believe. Never mind, I just looked it up. I can't believe that was the etymology...
He made the ones with the fish on top of the rice. There was grilled eel on one type and the filleted fish on the other one. I never asked him about fugu, though. But I probably wouldn't want to eat it, either...
I would think that a state near the ocean would have seafood for really cheap, because you can just fish for them if you wanted to. Here in Colorado, we're surrounded by mountains and no water, so that makes it pretty hard. And expensive.
I saw it in a video once. They catch a tarantula, pinch off its fangs, take it back to the village to fry it up with some spices. I think monosodium glutamate was a vital one... Then they just eat them, and they sound crunchy. The other kind, they soak a live one in wine, and when they eat it, I saw its legs still moving...
Wow, I've never been able to type this much in a Visitor Message before! Our suggestion worked! - 08-19-2009 04:30 AM - permalinkMeier Link
I got it up and running last night there is alot of room from growth in that thread and open discussion.

i will have to get back to you later tonight when i am at a real key board instead of my cell. Think taco would want to jump on board too?
Lets go ahead and take this to a shinra. I will set up a thread in concerns to it there. To many prying eyes watch your vms and mine. - What is the Red Rail? Is it another extinct bird?
Yeah! He brings out two whole dishes of sushi before we are even finished with the first one! For the first time, there were LEFTOVER sushi. Though the puffer fish, I'd like to try once. But it has to be done by a really, really good chef.
It's not the latter; it's the former. It's that expensive. Just six little pieces are $10. Yep. Colorado is nowhere near the ocean. Do you know how much lobsters well for here? It's about $5 a pound!
They eat whales and dolphins, too? Take the Chinese, for example. They'd eat anything! But it's the Japanese who are the healthiest. And then we have Cambodia, which eats tarantulas...
Wait, I got lost in the conversation... - Well, they do tell you that you should put butter or margarine into mash potatoes when making them. It tastes richer and a bit more salty. But then you'd need to make the gravy, too. Can't have mashed potatoes without that. Otherwise, it'd taste bland.
You would have to use the oven if you wanted rotisserie chicken.
Speaking of which, do you cook your Thanksgiving turkey in a pan, too? I'd love to see that! =D It would completely weight it down.
Ah, so the dodo didn't run away from people. I wished I could have eaten dodo once before they died out. What other animals are endangered? I must try them! Like the black rhinoceros. - Oh, so they're one and the same.
I wonder how much difference it taste. Or how much of a boost in cholesterol it would have.
I have a cousin who specializes in making sushi, so we bought unagi once for him to make sushi with it. Still, I wish that I was brave enough to try fugu, the pufferfish of Japan...
It could be dangerous to make, though, because if the fish is too raw... I guess I could understand why it's so expensive in the first place. Where I live, the price of sushi doesn't seem to be going down any. I mean, they have wrapped up ones, six of them, for about ten dollars.
YOU'RE MY HERO!!! - Heh heh. That's what's so annoying about this thing!
Well, it tastes nothing like that, but it does look a little mushy, with pullable pieces... Ah, that's a good idea! No doubt it would be stickied. You could share your food experiences there.
I would never cook chicken or eat chicken cooked in a microwave. It sounds to be not cooked enough in there. The oven is a lot better, because it crisps, too.
That's strange. I guess the dodo died form people eating it, too? But then how come unagi is so common in stores, despite the fact that it's becoming endangered? These environmentalists are lying, probably. - So you have to preserve it so that it loses its taste? Then you add a bunch of other "fillings" to it? Wow, it looks strange, but now I want to try one.
Actually, it is good. If you try not to think about the fact that you're eating a frog... That always gets me. Horse urine eggs...??? What are those? Unagi are pretty good, too. They're just eels.
Your family doesn't like sushi? I think it tastes great. You can hardly taste the raw fish. But the thing is really expensive. If you go to a sushi bar, it costs so much. It's better to just go to an all-you-can-eat buffet for unlimited sushi.
Yay! It's... not going so well so far, but I must do all I can to not have my messages cut, like this one!
