You... do all that in your spare time? How many weeks, if not months, does it take you?

Oh, fine. I've been playing a lot of D&D (playing two, and actually DMing one), but aside from that, not much. Trying to do a lot of stuff at a time; writing a bit of fiction, working on a specific list for one of the games, and so on.

Hello there, Oskar. I haven't spoken to you in a while. How have you been?

Well, in opposition for that, if the game's not a turn-based RPG, I attempt the Level 1 Challenge instead. I assume you're good at gaming?

Knew you wouldn't get the joke.

"Powergaming" relates to playing the game for winning. While this is actually required in consoles, it's often frowned in tabletop RPGs because it ruins people's fun.

The Batman Wizard is the enhanced version of FFT's Arithmetician, if said character was on a tabletop RPG. Basically, it means ending the battle in one or two moves by choosing the sets of spells and abilities that allow so. It works almost exactly as the Arithmetician would (with a specific, very carefully built set of abilities and spells, and maximizing the stats for maximum damage)

The reason why I did that slight joke was because that's exactly what you followed. And because it has been done before. Look at GameFAQs, they'll probably tell you how to make it better. And for sure, they'll point you out that a low-level Faith character is said build's bane.

How much? Well, a friend of mine joked that I took always one hour to post, so yeah. Around an hour or two. When you get inspired, you're prone to loads of verbose.

Also, welcome to the world of powergaming.

    Batman Wizard says "hi".

No prob. I figure that I should try to respond to things whenever I'm asked, and I tend to do it through my own point of view, but enough so that it doesn't become an influence. Not usually successful, but that's how things go.

Yes, all that, and still one thing that stands out about you than my other friends. You are the only one who gives me advice for daily life, and not just gaming stuff. So, thank you!^^

I produce that vibe most of the time, yeah. Thing is, when I'm debating, I sometimes get a bit too excited to defend my position, and since I usually speak in long words and type too much, I give the impression of being arrogant and all-knowing. But yeah, I usually lose that facade outside of debate. I might still sound arrogant, but wait until you get in an informal conversation (such as...MSN, for example) and I sound completely different.

Yeah, you can say you can't judge a book by its cover, but you can't avoid judging people before you get to know better. The idea is to learn how to dispel the first impression, and see if there's another side to the usual face. You'll never know how that person really is.

Can I be honest with you about something? When I first met you here seven months ago, I thought that you were just a really annoying and loud debater. But now that you're so nice to me, I don't think so anymore!^^ So, anyway, thanks! And I guess you can't judge someone before you know them, huh? See ya!^^

Yeah, you're right! I still remember the conflict 6 months ago when I was here. I managed to resolve two of them, but that was it. It was short, but I can feel that this one concerning Phantom is going to last a very long time. Two thirds of his goodbye thread is pure argument, and only one third is actually goodbye... I'll stop worrying about i! I mean, there's nothing I could do about it anyway, right? And thanks, T.G.! (Hey, my post was actually long!^^ Guess I'm learning quickly! I post in the Intellectual Forum to get practice now...^^)

Boy, this forum has undergone several bouts of drama, more than you could imagine. There's at least one big drama event per year. Just don't worry, don't feel so sad, everything is going to return to normal (or whatever is normal in these forums, which is the fun part of this place)
