Actually, I just put leaves there because when I think of green, I think of plants, and plants equals leaves. xD I have no clue how to fill up more space, though, because really, I just cropped out a section of an image of Hope and blended in some colored designs.

I like it, and I am a big fan of green, but I'm not sure about the decorative part on the left side. I don't think that it really goes with the image, unless you know something about Hope that I don't, which is probably very likely because I am trying not to find out too much info before the game is released.

Another avatar that's green. =P It's not animated, though, because I wanted good quality as a PNG.

Though I haven't got much experience with it, I've seensome extraordinary stuff come out of it! =D I heard it just takes longer to dish out the same things as Photoshop. Tell me what you think of it after a while.

Thanks! =D It's actually not hard at all, but it'll be time-consuming if if you have too many frames. If you've ever used Macromedia Flash, it's practically the same but easier. Though, that's Photoshop's. I believe GIMP has it, too? Have you tried that program? It's probably the best free image editor.

Wow! I like the animations! I think that your avvy looks great! I also like that you made the name in the banner glow. I think that's a pretty awesome effect. Heh... I am a sucker for animations.

Was it difficult to do? I've looked at some tutorials about how to do gif in PDN, but I don't really understand it.

I made this, but sadly, I can't use it, as GIF images when used on forums give a strange white, pixelated background. Maybe I should start making rectangular banners now to use animated text? xD

Make it a solid color. One that stands out from the background. Maybe a deep blue or something. Blue has a great contrast against orange.

As for where, just try different places and see how everything looks.

I agree. I think the background looks great in this one. I also like how you incorporated other characters from FF XIII into it. Are you planning on adding anything else, like text?

I bet that star pattern did take quite a while to get just right, but I think it looks really good. I'm not too sure if I like everything just right in the center like that. I'm a much bigger fan of designs that are either a bit off-center or start at one side or the other.

I like it so far. The stars get bigger as your eyes go around the radial design in the center. I think that was a nice touch. It gives the banner the illusion that there is depth.

I spent quite some time on the starry border. xD What do you think? It's a bit similar to the last one, but i do think the background is better.

I wish the avatar size was more than 125 x 125. =P My picture's a bit... small. << And if it goes over the size, the transparency stops working and becomes white instead. >.<
