Those are left over from what people around here will call the rep system, now known as the thanks system. You have to earn them by posting high quality posts, being helpful, and some times just being friendly. If you look directly under your post count you will see 3 buttons, one is online status, second is thanks, third is post report.

Basicly other users have the option to thank you for a post that you have made. The more you get the higher your over all points go. After you obtain a certain number of points your "rep" / thanks level will go up.

If I can find the time tonight I will send you a link describing what point level you have to acheive to get your next green bar.

Also there is a no thanks option in that same button. If you get that it reduces your overall point standard.

You can view your thanks by clicking into User CP in the nav bar.

There is one stipulation though, if your post count it not high enough (200 I believe) or if your over all thanks points are not above 10 then anyone you thank will only get a nuetral thanks, in turn no points will be added or subtracted.

Well thats koo, glad to see a new member getting to know their way arund the place. It's pretty big which can get confusing some times. If you have any questions feel free to ask me.
