Well, I'm off. Tomorrow morning, I'll be heading to Wausau, Wisconsin -- about an hour and a quarter away from "home" -- for a few days, then down to Ft. McCoy, Wisconsin (an hour away from "home", in the opposite direction) for six to eight weeks, then back to Iraq. Can't say where, but it'll be west Iraq, and it's pretty hot (violent) there, so that should make for an interesting deployment. I'll have my E-5 Sergeant sometime soon, which'll be a decent raise, but I'm already a Team Leader (in charge of three guys), and I'm next in line for Squad Leader. There's not much to say ... hope y'all do well while I'm away. My email is in my profile if you want to drop me a line, or you could ask (once I get it) for my mailing address if you want to send a care package of some sort. (We like everything ... beef jerky, letters, CDs, naked pictures ... you name it.) I'll try to come back to TFF whenever I get online, if I'm not too busy otherwise, but I don't know how often that'll be, especially for a while. But y'all take care, and I'll be back when I get back, sometime after September of '07.

My brother is currently serving time over in Iraq. Well, he was in Iraq. He was sent to Qatar a few days ago for reasons that he did not go into. He loves it, for the most part, despite the fact that his main job is guard duty. I'm not sure what he "technically" does other than that, but everytime he writes about his time over there, it amounts to nothing more than "guarding this", "guarding that" and "going over there to do something neat".

Hope you have an enjoyable time over yonder. I wouldn't mind sending you a care package. Naked pictures, you say? I have a few choice onces that I have been itching to send to them boys over in Iraq. It'd be kinda weird sending them to my brother.. so I haven't done that yet. But if you want 'em, I'll be more than happy to go ahead and send 'em on over!

I'm in the mobilization process now ... it'll be another two months or so until we'll be heading over. If y'all want to send me something, shoot me an email, and I'll get my mailing address back to you -- we have our address here, but we won't have our address there until we get there. I don't know when I'll be able to get online, but sometime in the next few weeks, at least.

Anyway. Y'all take care, and I'll be back.

I also got a lateral transfer to Corporal, which means I have more authority now ... and I've been in charge of four other guys, and I'm first in line for Squad Leader, to get control of the other nine guys in our Squad. So it's nice that they trust me with that responsibility, and I know I can handle it. I should also be getting a promotion to Sergeant, which means I'll get a little more pay and more authority, but still be in the same position as a Team Leader.

EDIT: Oh yeah. If anybody can post (actually, email) a walkthrough to Golden Sun: The Lost Age (GBA) for me -- the actual walkthrough, NOT the link -- that would be great. I'm trying to get help for this damn game, and the military filter won't let me look at anything gaming. It'd be appreciated -- hopefully I'll be able to get back on in the next few days to check it.
