-Specials
-Extras
-The Midnighters
All by Scott Westerfield. Specials was the best book of the three by far. All were great reads though.

I didn't techincally buy it, but it does come as part of my schooling this fall.

"Teach Yourself Visually: Microsoft Windows Vista"

It's a part of the home study part of the program I'm attending this fall, and It cost 25K tuition so i might as well have paid for the book. Now for the nightmare of learning Vista to begin...*Insert spooky horror movie music here*

The Taking, Velocity and False Memories, all by Dean Koontz. The first books of his I've read and, I'm impressed. I've still to read The Taking, due to the fact that I'm currently taking part in a Summer Academy program at a nearby University and so have little time for reading, only about and hour or two a day, but the other two were excellent. Okay, breathe. I'm goin to get a lot of boks at my birthday soon though... can't wait

Ohmygawd. I love you. The last few books I bought were:

-Uglies
-Pretties
-Specials
-Peeps

Peeps was an awesome book, and I'm looking forward to getting the sequel. I agree, Specials is by far the best book in the series so far. I have not yet read Extras, though. I'm looking forward to reading that one, as well.

The last book I bought was Margaret Weis's Amber and Blood, the third and last installment of her Dark Deciles trilogy.

I bought Garth Nix's Superior Saterday in The Keys to the Kingdom series.

It was such a great read, but damn cliffhangers. Now I need to wait one year for Lord Sunday.

As of yesterday morning:

Dragon Avenger by E. E. Knight

Book 2 of the Age of Fire series. It is told entirely from the perspective of a dragon, following members of a family through their many trials, from hatching to full adulthood. The first book focused on the gray dragon, AuRon. This one is told by his sister Wistala.

There is a third book, and the fourth will be released in December. I just wish they were released in mass market editions, cause the trades are a bit more expensive, hence why I can only buy one at a time.

Kushiel's Dart by Jacqueline Carey

This is one of the books that's something of an enigma. It's not the type of book I usually read, though it is in the fantasy genre, yet I have a desire to read it. I guess it's curiosity, if anything. I've never read anything by this author before.

A Shadow in Summer by Daniel Abraham

His debut novel and first of the Long Price Quartet. I'll admit it, I browse Amazon's bargain bin for remaindered hardcovers. If they weren't so damned expensive I'd buy them more often. It looks to be a very interesting series and it helps that George R. R. Martin recommends/endorses it, I guess. I hope it's not quite as depressing as ASOIAF.

Fairyville by Emma Holly

Another author I've never read anything by. Again, it's something I wouldn't normally read but I thought I'd give it a chance. It is, um, adult (yeah, that kind) fantasy, so I'm not quite sure if I'll like it or not. Read often, read widely, that's a writer's creed...or what I keep telling myself anyways. =P

A second hand copy of H.R. Hays'
From Ape to Angel An Informal History of Social Anthropology
Says it was published 1959.

It looked interesting and was only $2, so I snapped it up.

Hmm well I have been reading quite a bit lately.

Anyway, the last book (Or books I should say.) That I bought were "Only the Ring Finger Knows: 1 and 2 Lonley Ring Finger and Left Hand Dreams of Him." They are a form of Yaoi books, and I really enjoyed them. I can't wait to get the last 2.
