Erm...A Poem, Shall We Say?

This is just a poem that I kind of pulled out of my arse after I read a certain book. I don't know whether I should call it 'Lies' or let it go nameless for the time being until I figure out summin' better for it. Either way, here it is. Isn't that good, and I'm thinking of re-write the ending.


Lies
Bleak And Dark
They Exited Your Mouth
From The Branches Of More Lies
That They Were Born From
They Swarmed Into Me
And Confused Me

It Was Realising It That Hurt The Most
The Sick Satisfaction
That Urged Inside Your Mind
Every Time You Sealed
A Firm Grip On Me
On Us

But Now The Words Are Thinning
What Once Intertwined
With The Inner Beliefs Of My Mind
Have Become Mere And Lean To Me
To Us

I Can Open My Eyes
To What Was Once Blinded To Me
I Can Now Take A Breath And See
That I’m Free
We’re Free

You Speak No Truth,
Only Twisted Lies
You Rule Lives Of Many,
Blindly To Countless Eyes
You’re More Than A Just Fake
A Master Of Every Word
Persistent To Make Sure
Your Every Word Is Heard
You Have An Image Crafted So Perfectly
Shielding Your Inner Soul
So No One Can See

I love this poem, QG!!!!! I get this feel of anger out of it. But the wording in the poem makes gives it this slick tone which is really awesome. You need to write more though. This is really good. You should definitely put up more in the future.

I haven't written anything else yet [there is a bunch of old stuff I've done, but it's all really bad and crap so I haven't bothered posting it]. I haven't bothered editting 'Lies' [I decided to name it that in the end, lol] yet. n fact I think I'll leave it as it is.

But anyway, if I write anything else I'll post it in here.
